Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Saturday, July 20, 2002, Ruby Eloise LeDrew, aged 72 years.
Leaving to mourn husband Everett; five sons and one daughter: John, Brian (Carolyn), Carl (Janet), Donna (Gary), Doug (Nancy), Chris (Denise); grandchildren: Shawn, Christine, Adam, Brett, Claire, Zachary; one great grandchild Kyle; two sisters Mildred and Myrtle; one brother Wilburn; as well as other relatives and friends.
Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and from 10 a.m. - 12 noon on Wednesday. Funeral Service 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2002 from St. James United Church. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Malcolm (Max) Hector Allen
Passed peacefully away on September 29, 2003 after a long battle with prostate cancer. Max, in his 67th year, was surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Malcolm and Evelyn and brother Cambridge.
Left with fond memories are his loving wife Laura; one son Terry; daughter-in-law Kim; granddaughter Kali Sue; grandson Riley; brothers Freeman, Harvey and wife Marie; twin brother Bill and wife Eileen; and a large circle of relatives and friends.
A very special thank you to Dr. Pheonia O'Shea and nurses Carmel and Chris, Dr. Essaji and the community health nurses that cared for him. Cremation has already taken place. The family will be receiving visitations by family and friends at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, September 30 from 2-4 and 6-10 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 1 from 10a.m.- 12 noon. Mildred Jean "Millie" Avery
AVERY, Mildred Jean "Millie" - passed away after a courageous battle with Cancer on Friday, July 11, 2003, at the Health Sciences Complex, Mildred Jean "Millie" Avery. Aged 58 years.
Predeceased by her father and mother: Chesley and Clara Avery.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sister: Marilyn Randell (Ron); brothers: Clarence Avery (Beckie), Grand Bank, and Eric Avery (Sonia), Mt. Pearl; special cousin Pearl Duffy, very special friends: Rosemary Neville (Frank) and Mabel Tarrant; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.

Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, Leonard A. Miller Centre, on Saturday, September 14th, 2002, Lloyd James Bishop, in his 67th year.
Predeceased by his wife Flora 1978, his mother Emma 1982 and son David 2000.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories one daughter Carol Tucker (husband Peter) with whom he resided; two sons William and Tim; two precious grandchildren Tiffany Tucker and Shannon Scott; two sisters Doris Cooney, St. John's and Ruby Tizzard, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; very special friend Roy Flemming; as well as a number of other relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may attend a committal service at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Rd., at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17th, 2002.
