Gladys V. (Nee Masters, Grant) Marcotte
Passed peacefully away on Sunday, July 20, 2003 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital after a short battle with Cancer, surrounded by her loving family, Gladys V. Marcotte.
Predeceased by her husband William (Bill), July 1982; her second husband Armand (Tony), February 1998; and her daughter Lorraine, December 2000; stepson Louie Marcotte, July 2003.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her five daughters: Patricia (Ray), New York, Geraldine Parker, New York, Antoinette (Cyril), St. John's, Barbara Martin Kovic, Connecticut, Charlotte (Clifton), St. John's; son-in-law James Brophy, St. John's; two step daughters: Dorothy and Ellen, Brigus South; stepson Michael, St. John's; three brothers: James (Mabel), William (Doreen), and Levi (Carol); sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; also a large number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
Mass of Christian Burial to be held from St. Teresa's Parish, Mundy Pond at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2003.
Interment to follow at the Field of Honor, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted.

Luetta Meadus
Luetta (nee Marks)(Yates) Meadus passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, St. John's, on Monday, March 24, 2003, Luetta Meadus. Aged 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Edmund, 1976; son Tom, 1990; daughter Heather, 1942; granddaughter Debra Lynn, 1963; and husband Ira Yates, 1986. Left to celebrate Luetta's life are her daughter Gloria Harding (Bill Dalton); daughter-in-law Rose Meadus; grandchildren: Carolann Harding (Craig Pollett), Tom Meadus (Coretta), Christina Mercer (Geoff), and Robert Grandfield (Margaret); eight great grandchildren: Hollilyn and Hannah Green; Isaac and Benjamin Meadus, William Mercer, Reanna, Julia and Ben Grandfield; stepchildren: Richard Yates (Alma), Marie Crann (Roy), Gertrude Johnson (Wally), Hazel Gunlagson (Brian) and families; also a number of other friends and relatives. A very special thank you to sister Patricia Marie, sister Collette, Dr. Marie O'Dea and the staff at St. Patrick's Mercy Home who helped us through this difficult time.
Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow. Gabriel Frazer Moulton- Passed peacefully away on Friday, March 14, 2003, in his 83rd year at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex, Gabriel Moulton of Mt. Pearl (formerly of Burin). Pre-deceased by his parents Sam and Rebecca; sister Irene and brother and sister-in-law Captain Don and Dorothy Moulton. Left to cherish his loving memory his wife Susan (Miles); sisters-in-law: Kay (George Brown), Blanche Miles and Ruby Miles-Bartlett; special niece Rhonda O'Connell and her children: Mitchell and Katie; nephews: Carl Moulton (Marion), Chris Brown (Jessie), Derek Miles, Perry Miles, and Ken Miles; nieces: Peggy Martinson (Eric), Kim Williams, Susan Penny (Marshall), Lisa Gartner (Brian), Saundra Dewling (Richard); also grand-nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends including special friends: Ed and Ruby Hunt and Lloyd and Claudette Brown.

Predeceased by husband Edmund R. Noel in 1994. Beloved mother of Sidney and his wife Carol Hargreaves of London, ON; Ida of St. John's; Evelyn and husband Ronald Bisson of Ottawa, ON; Lloyd and wife Dianne Stephens of St. John's. Also four grandchildren: Christopher and wife Amy McCarthy of Toronto, ON; Steven of Kingston, ON; Robert of London, ON; Justine and her children Jessica and Eric of Victoria, B.C.; also cousins, nieces and nephews.

Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, January 28th, 2003 after a brief illness, Millicent O'Neill, aged 74 years.
Predeceased by her parents Cecil and Lillian Bishop, brother Douglas Bishop and sister Frances Stokes, parents in law Lawrence and Johannah O'Neill, daughter in law Viola O'Neill. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 53 years Lawrence Francis (Frank); 3 sons; Larry (Effie), Roger (Joyce), Darrell (Janice); Four daughters; Beverley Weatherby (Paul), Valerie Crewe (Graham), Sherrin (Francis Taylor), Jennifer Arkin (Robert); three grandchildren; Cathy, Bradley and Todd; one sister; Elizabeth Day (Harold); and a number of brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews , cousins and other relatives and friends.

Passed peacefully away after a lengthy, courageous battle with Cancer at the Health Sciences Center on June 7, 2002, Elizabeth Rebecca Parrell, aged 54 years. Predeceased by her mother and father: Clifton and Mary Parrell; brother Clifton Parrell.
Leaving to mourn her two sons: John Hickey (Trish), and Christopher Hickey (Cindy); three brothers: Wayne Parrell (Ina), Greg Parrell, and Paul Parrell (Yvonne); three sisters: Phyllis Rose (William), Mary Downey (Paul), and Jacqueline Rees (Rolf); four nephews: Robbie Rose (Wanda), Jonathan Rose (Tracy), Steve Downey (Braun), and Jason Downey (Sue); nieces: Andrea Parrell, Megan Parrell, and Christen Parrell; two special nieces: Jennifer Williams (Charles), and Gillian Rose (fianc' Lewis Hussey); very special friend Trish Broklehurst ; as well as many other relatives and friends.
