After several months of battling a critical illness, specially cared for by granddaughter Joyce Branton, Jean passed away Thursday morning, July 1, 2004. Jean was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church, Oshawa. She loved cooking and entertaining people, especially her family. Her joys are left with Marjorie Hogan, Dallas, Texas and son Frank Stackaruk, Stony Plain, Alberta. She was frequently visited by her grandchildren, Shari Jamison of Dallas, Randy Stackaruk of Oakville and caregiver Joyce Branton of Ajax. Other grandchildren include 3 from the Frank Stackaruk family in Alberta. She had 7 great-grandchildren.
