Born in St. Catharines and raised in Thorold, in 1936 Kay moved to Sarnia where she lived for the remainder of her 83 years. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of nearly 59 years, Graham, her daughter Donna (& Peter) Brotherhood of Cobourg, ON, her son Ken (& Peggy) Link, of Sarnia & her precious grandson Adam Link (& special friend Jessica) of Edmonton. Survived also by her cousins Jessie Dundas of Thorold & Jack Dundas of Font Hill. At Kay's request, she will be cemated & there will be neither visitation nor funeral service. Also survived by his sisters Edith Harrison of Listowel and Margaret Howe of Pt. Predeceased by six brothers Harvey, Walter, Clifford, Elroy, Jack and Bob. Lou was the Director of Education for Grey County until his retirement in 1974. He was an active member and a past president of the Owen Sound Kiwanis Club, a long time member of Division St. United Church and also belonged to the Owen Sound Golf and Country Club, Grey Granite Club and the Georgian Yacht Club. McGugan: Letitia Veronica (Conlon)
McGUGAN - LETITIA VERONICA (CONLON) McGUGAN, born February 24, 1904 in Springburn, Glasgow, Scotland died on Thursday, December 7, 2000 at St. Joseph's Hospital Palliative Care in Sarnia, Ontario. She was the beloved wife of the late Bruce Alexander McGugan. Formerly of Windsor, Ontario, Letitia was a past member of Holy Name of Mary Parish where she was a member of the Catholic Women's League and the Legion of Mary. She also served as a volunteer for the Canadian Red Cross Society and was a member of the Liberal Association. For the past twenty-five years Letitia has been a resident of Sarnia, Ontario. Letitia is survived by her seven children: Douglas and his wife Lorraine of Orland Park, Illinois, Vincent and his wife Haydee of Silver Springs, Maryland, Frances Gillis and her husband William of Livonia, Michigan, Sister Anne McGugan of Ursuline Motherhouse, Chatham, Ontario, Loretto Cameron and her husband Terence of Sarnia, Ontario, Kathleen McGugan of Sarnia, Ontario and Gail Schertzer and her husband John of Sarnia, Ontario. Twenty-one grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren survive Letitia, as well as one sister, Catherine Witherow of East Kilbride, Scotland and several nieces and nephews. Letitia is predeceased by her Irish parents, James and Sarah, by a sister Josephine and brothers James and Michael. As a devoted wife, a loving mother and a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother, Letitia's family will always cherish her memory. Rest in peace Mom - we love you as we were loved by you. Born September 29, 1907, in Radford, Illinois and was a longtime Pueblo resident, retiring from Southern Colorado Power Co. after 20 years of service. Member of the Liberty Baptist Church, Odd Fellows and was a 50 year member of the Victor Lodge No. 99, A.F. & A.M. in Victor, Colo. At his request, there will be no viewing. Morrison: Gordon Donald
Gordon Donald Morrison, age 71, of Sarnia, peacefully, surrounded by his wife and family at the Sarnia General Hospital on Thursday, March 1, 2001. Beloved husband for 45 years to Ardell Morrison. He was an extraordinary father to his children Blake, Tina, Andrew and Dean and will be sorely missed by his daughters-in-law Cindy and Sue and son-in-law Mark. Loving Papa to Scott, Benjamin, Martina, Colton, Dylan and Megan. Gord was the youngest of nine brothers and sisters, survived by his loving sister Margaret Crosby of Montreal. Following his graduation from Sir George Williams University in Montreal he joined the Royal Trust Company from which he retired following 41 years of dedicated service. A member of many community organizations, his favourite was the Rotary Club of Sarnia; for the camaraderie shared and the spirit of giving to community it espoused. Gordon shared many interests but his passion was his family. Whether convening, coaching or following his children in hockey, baseball, soccer, softball, etc.; taking them to professional sporting events or on family vacations and camping trips...his greatest happiness was time spent with his wife and children and as the family grew, with his daughters-in-law, son-in-law and grandchildren. We would like to thank a wonderful team of caregivers who helped Gord through his last days. To Dr. Davies and Dr. Spano and especially the nurses at SGH, 4th floor north.
