BOLIN:
Lucy E. Bolin, 88, of Scottsbluff, Neb., formerly of Loveland, died July 26, 2002, at Beverly Healthcare in Scottsbluff.
She was born Feb. 19, 1914, in Cheyenne, Wyo., to John E. and Edna Parks Craton. She was the eldest of five sisters.
She graduated from high school in Lagrange, Wyo., as salutatorian of the class of 1931. After attending Glendale Community College in California, and Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Neb., she taught in rural schools in Wyoming and Nebraska. She continued her education at the University of Wyoming.
She married Royal D. "Pat" Bolin on May 15, 1937, in Scottsbluff. They farmed in the Hull community in Banner County, Neb., until her husband's health forced them to retire. They traveled throughout the United States from 1968 until moving to Good Samaritan Retirement Village in Loveland in 1989.
In 2000, Mrs. Bolin moved to Scottsbluff.
Mrs. Bolin served on the Spiritual Life Committee at Good Samaritan Village, was a lifetime member of Hull United Methodist Church and was a member of United Methodist Women.
She is survived by a son, R. Douglas Bolin and wife Joy of Banner County; a daughter, Valetta Schneider and husband Mel of Gering, Neb.; three sisters, Mildred Mae Warner and husband L. Wayne of Gering, Betty Spain of Loveland and Francilia Johnson and husband Herbert of Kimball, Neb.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant sister and two infant grandsons.
Visitation will be 1-6 p.m. today at Jones Mortuary, 1532 14th St., Mitchell, Neb., and before the funeral on Monday. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hull United Methodist Church in Banner County, with the Revs. Sheila Taylor and Mel Acheson officiating.
Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Hull United Methodist Church, to Acheson Ministries or to the charity of the donor's choice.

CARTER:
Evelyn Jennell Carter, 80, of Loveland, died July 31, 2002, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.
She was born April 21, 1922, in Louisville, Ill., to William Edward Cruse and Stella Colclasure Cruse. She graduated from the Hammond, Ind., school system.
She married Clarence C. Carter on June 25, 1946, in Denver. He preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 1983.
She sang for numerous funerals and weddings and with a church trio. She also sang gospel music on the radio in Indiana. She enjoyed handcrafts and helping others. She volunteered for several nursing homes and church functions.
Mrs. Carter is survived by three daughters, Patricia Young and husband Melvin of Loveland, Shirley Ray and husband Donald of Lakewood and Joyce Donelson and husband Charlie of Cheraw; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Memorial services will be 2:30 p.m. today at the Trinity Baptist Church, 15555 E. Quincy St. in Aurora.
Inurnment will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 100 E. County Road 30, Fort Collins, 80525.

DOHRER:
Frank Dohrer of Loveland. Visitation from 1-8 p.m. Monday and 8-noon Tuesday at Allnutt Funeral Service. Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Interment Loveland Burial Park.
Frank L. Dohrer, 86, of Loveland died July 26, 2002, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.
He was born April 4, 1916, to F. August and Mattie Fielding Dohrer. He grew up on a farm near Corona, S.D., and graduated from Milbank High School in South Dakota.
He married Irene Meister on June 30, 1946, in Revillo, S.D. They lived in Milbank until 1955, when they moved to Sioux Falls, S.D., where he worked for the Federal Housing Administration. In 1961, they moved to Boulder. They moved to Loveland in 1984.
Frank served in the United States Army from March 7, 1941, to Oct. 8, 1945. He received both the Bronze Star and Good Conduct Medal while serving with the 6th Infantry Corps in northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe. Frank was most proud of his service to his country when he served in the 14th Field Artillery Observation Battalion in the Battle of the Bulge.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loveland. He liked fishing, camping, boating, traveling, playing cards and especially enjoyed dancing. Of all his activities, those most important to him were service to his church.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Doh-rer of Loveland; nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Ilo Dohrer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Judy Ann; two sisters, Ethel (and John) Hawson and Mable (and Sam) Hagen; and two brothers, Harry Dohrer and Fred (and Hattie) Dohrer.
Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Monday at Allnutt Funeral Service's Hunter Chapel, 2100 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Burial will be at Loveland Burial Park.
Friends can choose to make contributions to Lutheran Hour, Immanuel Lutheran School or Hospice of Larimer County.

EICHER:
Kenneth D. "Ken" Eicher of Loveland. Cremation has been conducted. Memorial services 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 2, Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Ed Bigler officiating. Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in care of the Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
Kenneth Dale "Ken" Eicher, 53, of Loveland, died July 28, 2002, at his home.
He was born July 9, 1949, in Brewster, Kan., to Karl and Helen Frasier Eicher. He was divorced. He had been a salesman at Car Quest Auto Parts for 21 years.
He moved to the Loveland-Fort Collins area 23 years ago from Cheyenne, Wyo.
He enjoyed car racing, fishing, football and movies.
Mr. Eicher is survived by two daughters, Melissa Harrington and husband Matthew of Fort Collins, and Kandice Eicher of Loveland; a brother, Bob Eicher and wife Judy of Cheyenne; a sister, Mary Dayhoff and husband Tom of Arvada; three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Helen Eicher.
Cremation has been conducted.
Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Ed Bigler of Christ United Meth-odist Church in Fort Collins will officiate.
Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in care of the Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.

FOGLE:
Diane C. Fogle of Loveland. Wife of John H. Fogle, daughter of Fred and Joan Fishburn. Cremation with memorial services 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Robert Dooling and the Rev. Kathleen H. Fox, officiants. Inurnment in Loveland Burial Park. Memorial contributions to Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 2500 N. Garfield, Loveland, 80538, or PSI Seminars Basic Scholarships, Denver.
Diane Christine Fogle, 42, of Loveland, died July 26, 2002, at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins from injuries suffered in a car accident.
She was born April 7, 1960, in Loveland. She graduated from Thompson Valley High School in 1978 and from the University of Denver in 1982. She received her certified public accountant certificate in 1984.
She married John H. Fogle in Loveland on June 17, 1982. She worked for six years for Brock, Buchholtz and Stow in Longmont and then for Colorado State University's internal auditing department in Fort Collins.
She was a member of Mountain View Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir, played flute and participated in the bell choir.
She and her husband had just retired from serving as sponsors of the ACTS youth group for 22 years.
She was a member of Chapter L, PEO, and she loved music, crafts and helping others with their needs. She had many creative abilities.
She is survived by her husband, John Fogle of Loveland; her children, Stacia Dawn and Austin Reid Fogle of Loveland; her parents, Fred and Joan Fishburn of Loveland, two brothers, Fred Fishburn and Sally of Boise, Idaho and Jeff Fishburn and Julia of Highlands Ranch; her mother-in-law, Darlene Fogle of Loveland; aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends.
Cremation will be conducted. Memorial services will take place 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mountain View Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert Dooling and the Rev. Kathleen H. Fox officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Loveland Burial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain View Presbyterian Church youth projects, 2500 N. Garfield Ave., Loveland, 80538, or PSI Seminars, Basic Scholarships, Denver.

GARNER:

Rose Marie Garner, 77, of Loveland, died July 31, 2002, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.
She was born Jan. 9, 1925, in Denver, to Emma Lee Pasternak. Her stepfather was Dwight D. Draper. She married Roland R. Garner on March 4, 1953, in Casper, Wyo. She was a homemaker.
She moved from Casper to Denver in 1962, and to Loveland in 1985 from Denver. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Garner is survived by her husband, Roland R. Garner of Loveland; a daughter, Judy Ryan-Maxner and husband Jerry D. Maxner of Berthoud; two grandchildren, Tana Ryan and Michael Ryan, both of Loveland; and three great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Lynn Wickstrom officiating.
Burial will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals Colorado Post-Polio Connection, 5755 W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood, 80226.

KNIGHT:
Gordon Knight of Boulder. Celebration of Life services 5 p.m. today, Friday, August 2, at Planet Bluegrass, 500 W. Main, Lyons. Reception will follow the services.
Gordon Knight, 52, of Boulder, died July 30, 2002, five miles southeast of Estes Park from injuries suffered in a helicopter crash.
He was born Feb. 20, 1950, in Scottsbluff, Neb., to Leonard and Elizabeth Smith Knight. He attended Chadron State College in Chadron, Neb., and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
He married Susan L. Kruskop on Aug. 15, 1980, in San Pedro, Calif.
He was a pilot with Geo-Seis Helicopters of Fort Collins. He was a former owner and microbrewer at Wolf Tongue Brewery in Nederland, Twisted Pine Brewery in Boulder, High Country Brewery in Boulder, and Estes Park Brewery in Estes Park.
He had been a U.S. Army warrant officer. He served as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and Germany and received the Purple Heart.
He moved to Colorado in 1981 from Hawaii and had lived in Boulder since 1988.
Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Susan L. Knight of Boulder; parents, Elizabeth and Leonard Knight of Scottsbluff; a sister, Becky Haushew of Scottsbluff; two nephews and four nieces.
Celebration of Life services will be 5 p.m. today at Planet Bluegrass, 500 W. Main, Lyons. Services will conclude with a reception.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
Viegut Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

KOCH:
Lavene E. "Beanie" Koch of Loveland. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday in Seneca, Kan.
Lavene E. "Beanie" Koch, 72, of Loveland died July 28, 2002, at a Loveland care home. She had moved to Loveland in February 2000 from Seneca, Kan., to be near her daughter.
She was born Oct. 30, 1929, at St. Benedict, Kan., to Herman and Emma Vondemkamp Dick. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from St. Mary's High School at St. Benedict in 1948. She attended Marymount College in Salina, Kan., and St. Anthony's Hospital School of Nursing, where she received her nursing diploma in 1951. She became a registered nurse after taking the Kansas State Board.
She married Cyril J. Koch Dec. 27, 1951, in St. Benedict. In 1964 they moved to Seneca and Mrs. Koch began working at the Seneca Hospital. She continued to work at the new hospital, the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital, until her retirement in May 1995 after 31 years as a registered nurse and several years as the day supervisor.
Mrs. Koch was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church and the St. Ann's Altar Society, the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital Guild, the Seneca Memorial Post No. 7458 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and the Kidney Foundation.
She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. She made many quilts for her family, including a quilt for each grandchild. She also crocheted, embroidered and enjoyed ceramics. She and her husband had a large garden and grew strawberries; she enjoyed traveling with her sisters.
She is survived by sons Roger Koch of Lawrence, Kan., Steve Koch of Topeka, Kan., and Jeff Koch of Colorado Springs; daughter Cyrilla Haverkamp of Loveland; brother Joe Dick of Moncks Corner, S.C.; sisters Valeria Edwards of Goodland, Kan., Norene Haynes of Wichita, Kan., Lucille Winkler of Oneida, Kan., Alice Rumsey of Topeka, and Linda Baughman of Hendersonville, N.C.; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cyril May 18, 1995; son Johnny Koch, who died at birth Dec. 26, 1952; brothers Omar Dick and Orville Dick; and sisters Joan Dick, Norma Tsuglis and Edna Krogman.
A mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Seneca. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at St. Benedict.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation or the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital Guild in care of the family.
Local arrangements were handled by Allnutt Funeral Service Hunter Chapel.

MOORE:
Earlene Moore, 76, of Loveland, formerly of Greeley, died July 24, 2002, at Loveland Good Samaritan Village.
She was born Oct. 8, 1925, in Greeley to William and Goldie Smith Riling. She graduated from Greeley High School in 1943.
She married Donald Moore in 1944. He preceded her in death in August 1979.
She was a member of Faith Bible Baptist Church in Greeley. She loved crocheting. She was talented musically and gave guitar lessons for years in the Fort Collins, Loveland and Cheyenne areas. She also sang and played the piano for church.
Mrs. Moore in survived by a daughter, Donna Weber and husband John of Loveland; a sister, Wanda and husband Roy Woods of Las Vegas, Nev.; five grandchildren, including Delia Weber of Loveland; special cousins Carol Keller of Denver and Lois Sandau of Loveland, with whom she was raised as sisters.
She was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Moore; and one grandson.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Stoddard Funeral Home in Greeley. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Stoddard Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley.
Memorial gifts can be made to Loveland Meals on Wheels in care of Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th St., Greeley, 80634.

ANGELOS Jr.
John Shaw Angelos Jr., 50, formerly of Loveland, died Sept. 10, 2002, in Portland, Ore.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at Grace Place Church, 250 Mountain Ave. in Berthoud.
He was born July 1, 1952, in Loveland, to John S. and Estelle Visser Angelos Sr. He attended Loveland elementary schools and graduated from Berthoud High School in 1970.
He received basic training in the U.S. Army at Fort Leonard Wood and Fort Bragg. He served with the U.S. Special Forces from 1982 to 1984.
He was a computer programmer/systems analyst for various companies in Florida. He had lived and worked in Boulder for many years and lived in Tampa, Fla., for the last nine years. He recently moved to the Portland area to be closer to his parents.
He had a passion for martial arts and was a martial arts practitioner for most of his adult life.
He is survived by his wife, Sally A. Blinn of Portland; his parents, John and Estelle Angelos of Roseburg, Ore.; a brother, Cris Angelos of Pueblo; two sisters, Sally Hedger and husband Bill, and Tasia Tyler, all of Loveland; nieces, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Blanche Angelos and Ray and Genevieve Visser.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association-Pulmonary Fibrosis Research.
