The annual Freshman-Sophomore Reception, the chief social function of the lower classmen, was a success. Everyone seemed to have a good time in spite of the fact that the committee-in-charge behaved themselves and the punch wasn't tampered with. Games and a short sketch about the quintuplets preceded the dancing, which was greatly improved due to the efforts of the teachers who before the reception gave aspirants a few lessons after school.
