SUMMIT BRIDGE

Mrs. Eliza Bendler spent Saturday in Wilmington.

Mrs. Isaac Roberts was a Wilmington visitor Saturday.

Mrs. Harry Murray was a Wilmington visitor last Thursday.

Mrs. Kate Clay is spending some time in New Jersey with relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Millard Golt and Mrs. Carrie Golt were Wilmington visitors Saturday.

Rev. Oren B. Rice, of St. Georges, was a caller in several of the homes last Thursday.

Master Jack Naylor, of Townsend, is spending this week with his grandmother, Mrs. Eliza Bendler.

Mrs. John Neville and daughter, Mrs. Edward Wilson, of Wilmington, were visitors in the village last Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Clark, of Newark, were visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Deputy, of Mt. Pleasant, Sunday.

Miss Gladys Golt has been spending a few days in Wilmington, the guest of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Noble Cavender.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Conley, of Philadelphia and Mrs. James N. Lewis were dinner guests of Mrs. Charles Kane, Friday.

Messrs. Mitchell Golt and Oscar Lank, Medford Golt and Paul Golt spent Thursday at Kent-Sussex Fair at Harrington, Del.

Mr. and Mrs. William Dickinson, Miss Edith Golt and brother, Billy, attended the Kent-Sussex Fair at Harrington, Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. William Calhoun and mother, Mrs. Calhoun, of St. Georges, were callers at the home of Mr. William Murray, Sunday.

Pierce Alrich and sister, Miss Nevada Alrich, were over Sunday visitors with their mother, Mrs. Mollie Alrich, and sister, Miss Ruth Alrich.

Mrs. Ella Roos, of Philadelphia, is visiting Mrs. May Banks.

Miss Elsie Jones is visiting Mr. and Mrs. C. Douglas Appleby and daughter in Salisbury, Md.

Miss Nan Fouracre returned home on Sunday after spending a week's vacation at Rehoboth.

Mr. and Mrs. Prettyman Willey and two sons spent Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Wildwood, N.J.

Miss Marylouise Reed, of Wilmington, is spending two weeks here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Miller D. Reed.

Mr. and Mrs. James Clark, of Wilmington, are spending this week with Mr. and Mrs. Harmonson Reynolds and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Wheatley and two daughters, of Wilmington, were Sunday guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wheatley.

Mr. and Mrs. Rowland Sapp and family, of Detroit, Mich., are spending 10 days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Sapp, and family.

Mrs. Leila D. Armstrong, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Frank G. Rettinger, of Brooklyn, N.Y., were guests of Mrs. Frederick Brady last week.

Mr. Robert Jones and Miss Helen Kossow, of Flanders, N.J., were recent week-end guests of his grandfather, Mr. Thomas S. Fouracre, and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Connellee, of Rochester, N.Y., returned home today after spending the week with Mr. Connellee's mother, Mrs. William T. Connellee.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Voly and daughter, Debby, of Elsmere Manor, are spending several days this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Reynolds.

Dr. and Mrs. Walter H. Lee and family left last Thursday for a month's motor trip to the West Coast. They will return to Middletown about Sept. 1st.

Mrs. Walter Cannon, of near Hockessin, has returned to her home after spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence V. Cannon and family, of Middle Neck, Md.

Mrs. Minnie Bowman and sons, Henry, Roger and Fred, and daughter, Florence, of Haddonfield, N.J., spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence V. Cannon and family in Middle Neck, Md.
