He was a production laborer, and retired from the Chevrolet Corporation. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was Protestant. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Ethel Baumler Sexton, of Homosassa; two sons, Dale J. Sexton, of San Francisco, Calif., and Lee C. Sexton, of Fillmore, N.Y.; and two grandchildren. Robert Deicke, 76, of Austell, Ga.
Robert Warren Deicke, 76, of Austell, Ga., formerly of Inverness, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000. Mr. Deicke was a native of Stamford, Conn. He served in the Marines from 1942 to 1964 during World War II and the Korean conflict as warrant officer II. He was retired as field representative with a subsidiary of Allied Signal. He was Catholic. He was an aviation buff and restored old airplanes and was a private pilot. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ottavian Deicke; daughters, Francoise Rosenblat of Westchester, N.Y., Eve McCoy of Austell, Ga.; sister, Irene Curtis of Stratford, Conn.; and three grandchildren. Mr. Luebking was a retired foreman from CTS Corp., Elkhart, Ind. He was a member of the Benevolent & Protective Order of the Eagles, Lodge No. 425, Elkhart, Ind. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Inverness. He was husband of the late Mrs. Lila Alford Luebking, who died Aug. 13, 1993. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Mildred Louise Pettis, 76, of Inverness died at home on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, under the loving care of her family and Hospice. A native of Montgomery, Ala., she came here 15 years ago with her husband of 51 years, David Pettis, who preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 1994. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Inverness. She was a retired office manager from the Pititz Jr. High School in Birmingham, Ala. She was a member of Inverness First Church of Christ Scientist, and was active in the church. She was married for 45 years. She is survived by her husband, Harold W. Walter Todd Jr., 86, of St. Petersburg
Walter N. Todd Jr., 86, of St. Petersburg died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, at Westminster Shores Health Center. Born in Birmingham, Ala., he moved to St. Petersburg in 1946 from New Orleans, La. He was owner of Green and Todd Realty and McEachern/Todd Insurance that later merged with West Coast Insurance in St. Petersburg. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II and served as a 2nd Lieutenant. He was a founding member of both St. Thomas Episcopal Church and St. Matthews Episcopal Church in St. Petersburg. He was a member of Civitan, Lakewood Country Club and the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. He was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church in St. Petersburg and St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Crystal River. Survivors include two sons, Tommy Todd of St. Petersburg and Brad Todd of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren, Kyle and Michael Todd of St. Petersburg and Jennie Todd of Dallas, Texas; and several cousins in Alabama and Georgia. Nancy E. Campbell, 67, of Beverly Hills died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. She was born to Lillian and Ernest L. Vent on Sept. 25, 1932, in Salem, Mass. She moved here from Danvers, Mass., nine years ago. She retired from William F. Sawyer, Esq. Law Firm in Boston, Mass., as a legal secretary. She was a member of the Nature Coast Unitarian Universalist Church of Lecanto, where she played the organ and was in the choir. She was a member and past president of both the Danvers County and Citrus County League of Women Voters, she was on the Florida State Board of League of Women Voters; ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union); Seven Rivers Golf and Country Club and the Tuesday Bridge Club. Campbell was a graduate of the Boston University and she attended the University of Massachusetts where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. One of her great loves was the Ferry Beach Park Association in Saco, Maine, she was an executive director of the Navy Release Society of Marine Corps Air Station in Kanehoe Bay, Hawaii; she was Miss Red Feather of Salem, Mass. Community Chest Fund in 1950, a member of the North Shore Players where she produced Brigadoon and How to Succeed in Business. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laurie C. Emerson, in 1993. She is survived by her husband, Robert ''Bob'' L. Campbell of Beverly Hills; one son, Gifford Campbell of Brighton, Mass.; two grandchildren, Julia Anna Castaldi of Middletown, N.Y., and Erric Robert Emerson of Longbranch, N.J. Charles J. Hoffman, 79, of Inverness died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Born in Fairport, N.Y., he came here 24 years ago from Rochester, N.Y., and was a retired boiler man. Mr. Hoffman was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. He was Catholic. She was a bookkeeper for the school system in Madison, Wis. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Inverness. Survivors include three sisters, Meta Tonoli and Rose Bertnick both of Menomonee, Wis., and Margaret Much of Inverness; and one brother, Raymond Haissig of St. Francis, Wis. Sally Klein, 86, of Beverly Hills died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000. She was born in Manhattan, N.Y. Mrs. Klein was a retired sales clerk from Macy's Department Store after 23 years; a volunteer at the fire department; bingo and dances at the Jewish Center; member of Temple Beth Sholom; and wife of the late Mr. Michael Klein, who died in 1985. Martha Mills Kramer, 82, of Chesterfield, Va., went to be with the Lord on Jan. 4, 2000, at Lucy Corr Village after an extended illness. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to Crystal River six years ago from Ocala where he resided for 23 years coming from Miami. Mr. Kuhn was in the antique furniture restoration business. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Ocala. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Madeline Kuhn and two daughters, Dorothy Donaldson and Loretta Mathews. Surviving are his son, Jacob J. Esther V. Parks, 79, a longtime resident of Inverness, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Citrus Health and Rehab, Inverness, under the loving care of their staff and Hospice of Citrus County and her family. She was born Oct. 10, 1920, in Hyde City, Pa., the daughter of the late John and Annie Mitchell. Mrs. Parks was a lifetime member of the American Legion, Post No. 6, Clearfield, Pa.; a Gold Star Mother; and was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald A. Parks, in 1973; her son, Sgt. Donald J. Parks in 1968; and daughter, Kathryn L. Goodman in 1984. She was Methodist. He was a retired elevator operator for an apartment building in New York City. He was Catholic and attended St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Lecanto. Joshua Allen Steele, 14 days, of Coopersville, Mich., died on Monday, Dec. 27, 1999, in Devos Childrens Hospital, Grand Rapids, Mich. He was born on Monday, Dec. 13, 1999, to Tim and Dawn (Robb) Steele. Joshua is survived by his parents; sister Kelsey at home; paternal grandparents, Harold and Marcia Steele of Coopersville, Mich.; maternal grandparents, Margo and Jack Freeman of Homosassa, and Danny and Cathy Robb of Decatur, Ill.; paternal great-grandmother, Margaret Steele of Michigan; maternal great-grandparents, Audre Wooten and Emily and Joe Snipes of Decatur, Ill.; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Edward Adams, 73, of Sugarmill Woods
Edward ''Ted'' Adams, 73, of Sugarmill Woods, Homosassa, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at his residence. Born in Chicago, Ill., he came here 16 years ago from Miami. He graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor of science degree in 1950. Mr. Adams was a U.S. Navy Korean war veteran, serving from 1950-1952. A career television broadcaster serving with NBC film sales 1954-1959; Westinghouse Broadcasting Co. 1959-1968; general sales manager for KDKA TV, Pittsburgh 1966-1968 and as executive vice president and general manager for WCIX TV, Miami, 1969 until his retirement in 1984. During his career, Mr. Adams was a director and then board chairman of the Association of Independent TV Stations, as well as a trustee of the National Academy of TV Arts and Sciences in New York. After retirement, he became a director and then board chairman of WEDU TV in Tampa. Surviving are his wife, Nancy (Thomas) Adams of Homosassa; two daughters, Marion Espinosa of Lemoore, Calif., and Abigail Adams of San Diego, Calif.; three very dear stepchildren, Michael Whitcomb of Pawling, N.Y., Lidsay Whitcomb of Yonkers, N.Y., and Bruce Whitcomb of New York City, N.Y.; and one sister, Mrs. Charles Becker of Chicago, Ill., and Naples. She was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Homosassa. She was the wife of the late Mr. Richard Canzano, who died Feb. 5, 1999. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish.
