Angelina P. Bentley, 88, of Palm
Bay, died Aug, 26, 1997, at Sebastian River Medical Center after a
brief illness.
She wasborn Sept. 8, 1908, in
New Brunswick, Canada, and
moved to Palm Bay in 1996 from
Micco.
Mrs. Bentley was a member of
The Lion Aides, Barefoot Bay.
Surviving are one sister, Marie
Louise LeBlane, of Orilla, Ontario,
Canada; one brother, Felix Paulin,
of Troy, N,Y.; one grandchild; and
one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held
Sept. 2, at the Florida Memorial Funeral Home, Rockledge. Interment
followed at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge.

Theresie Wood
Theresie S. Wood, 78, of Sebastian, died Aug. 26, 1997, at Sebastian River Medical Center after a
prolonged illness.
She was born April 13, 1919, in
East Hartford, Conn., and moved to
Sebastian 20 years ago from Meriden, Conn.
Mrs. Wood was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Disabled
American Veterans and Sebastian
Woman's Club, and was a volunteer
with the Red Cross.
Surviving are her husband of 35
years, George; two daughters,
Georgia Rose Wood, of Arkansas,
and Georgianna Cross, of Vero
Beach, and seven grandchildren.
At the family's request, there
will be no repose or visitation.
No services are scheduled.

Bud Shepherd
Bud Shepherd, 80, of Roseland,
died Aug. 26, 1997, at Sebastian
River Medical Center after a prolonged illness.
He was born April 7, 1917, in
Mount Sterling, Ky., and moved to
Roseland 21 years ago from Vero
Beach.Mr. Shepherd was a security
guard.
Surviving are three daughters,
Peggy Byrd, of Vero Beach, Patty
Lydick, of King George, Va., and
Polly Houck, of Sebastian; three
sons, Buddy Shepherd, of Akron,
Ohio, Thomas Shepherd, of Roseland, and Michael Shepherd, of
Hampton, Tenn.; 36 grandchildren;
35 great-grandchildren; and five
great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Aug.
30 at Cox-Gifford Funeral Home,
with Edward Lydick officiating.

Elvin Ingram
Elvin Ingram, 60, 8615 64th Ave.,
Wabasso, died Aug. 21, 1997, at Indian River Memorial Hospital after
a brief illness.
He was born June 20, 1937, in
Eutaw, Ala., and moved to Wabasso
15 years ago from his birthplace.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley;
one daughter, Velda Jamison, of
Miami; one son, Derek A. Ingram,
of Wabasso; four sisters, Anniedell
Carmicalle, of Bessemer, Ala.,
Mable Taylor, of Newark, NJ., Geraldine Ingram, of Shiffield, Ala.,
and Ernestine Spencer, of Glenwood, Ill.; five brothers, Joe Ingram and Johnny Ingram, both of
Bessemer,Jasper Ingram,of
Brownsville, Tenn., Melvin Ingram,
of Tennessee, and Jerome Ingram,
of Birmingham, Ala.; and eight
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Aug.
30 at St. Matthew's Baptist Church,
Wabasso, with the Rev. Jerome Bell
officiating.Interment followed at
Wabasso Cemetery, Wabasso.

Ralph Borreson
Ralph Borreson, 76, of Sebastian,
died unexpectedly Sept. 1, 1997, at
Sebastian River Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 30, 1920, in
Mandal, Norway, and moved to Sebastian two years ago from Silver
Springs.
Mr. Borreson was a retired mechanic for Pan American Airways.
He was a member of the American
Legion, and was a U.S. Navy veteran
of World War II.
Surviving are his wife of 52
years, Hilda; two sons, Bob Borreson and Don Borreson, both of
Lexington, N.C.; one daughter,
Linda Mistic, of Hollywood; one
sister, Ruth Pearson, of Eustis; one
brother, Walter Borreson, of Port
St. Lucie; and six grandchildren.
At the family's request, there
will be no repose or visitation.
A memorial service was held
Sept. 4 at Christ The King Lutheran
Church, Sebastian.

Hazel M. DeKruif, 87, of 1211
Barefoot Blvd., Barefoot Bay, died
Aug. 31, 1997, at Sebastian River
Medical Center, after a brief illness.
She was born July 5, 1910, in
Hart, Mich., and moved to Barefoot
Bay nine years ago from Newbury
Park, Calif.
Mrs. DeKruif was an inspector
for Rockwell Industries in California for more than 20 years prior to
retirement.
Surviving are one son, Ronald,
DeKruif, of Grand Rapids, Mich.;
one daughter, Loretta Shively, of
Gainesville; four grandchildren;
and 10 great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a
later date.

Florence McGee
Florence Josephine McGee, 85,
of Barefoot Bay, died unexpectedly
Sept. 1, 1997, at Holmes Regional
Medical Center, Melbourne.
She was born Dec. 10, 1911, in
Providence, R.I., and moved to
Barefoot Bay 12 years ago from
Barrington, R.I.
Mrs. McGee was a secretary at
New England Telephone for 30
years.She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Barefoot
Bay, and St. James Lutheran
Church, Barrington, R.I. She was a
member of the Scandinavian Club,
and the Rhode Island Club, both of
Barefoot Bay; the Telephone Pioneers of America; and the Order of
the Eastern Star Chapter No. 21,
Cranston, R.I.
Surviving are her daughter,
Joan Hall, of Barrington, R.I.; and
three grandchildren.
At the family's request, there
will be no visitation or service.

Mabel D. Bierds, 84, of Barefoot
Bay, died Sept. 2, 1997, at Sebastian
River Medical Center, Roseland, after a brief illness.
She was born Sept 6, 1912, in
Graysville, Texas, and moved to
Barefoot Bay in 1992 from Nanuet,
N.Y.
Mrs. Bierds was a member of
the Clarkstown, N.Y., Senior Citizens Group and an active member
of the Republican Party in Rockland County, N.Y.
Surviving are one daughter, Doris McCool, of Barefoot Bay; one
granddaughter; and three greatgrandchildren.
No service is scheduled.
Interment will be at Fountainhead Memorial Gardens, Palm Bay.

Rose Lombardi
Rose M. Lombardi, 79, of Sebastian, died Sept. 6, 1997, at Integrated Health Services of Vero
Beach after a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 6, 1918, in
Jeannette, Pa., and moved to Brevard County in 1982 from Espyville, Pa.
She is survived by her husband,
David; one son, Charles Lombardi,
of Micco; one sister, Angie Mascota of Jeannette; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held
at a later date in Cannonsburgh, Pa.

Betty Hubbard
Betty J. Hubbard, 67, of Sebastian, died Sept. 6, 1997, at her residence after a prolonged illness.
She was born Oct. 10, 1929, in
Columbia, S.C., and moved to Sebastian one and half years ago from
Crystal River.
In 1960, Mrs. Hubbard was selected as the first branch manager
for Fidelity Federal Savings Bank of
Florida.In 1987, after 28 years of
service, Mrs. Hubbard retired from
Fidelity Federal Savings Bank as senior vice president and director of
human resources.She was a Catholic.
Surviving are her husband of 47
years, Don; one daughter, Rhonda
Wilkins, of Clearwater; one son,
Britt Hubbard, of Hobe Sound; four
grandchildren; her mother, Hannah Campbell, of Columbia, S.C.;
two sisters, Marjorie Bridges, of
Austin, Texas, and Theresa Clark,
of Columbia; two brothers, W. J.
Fullbright, of Barnwell, S.C., and
J.R. Fullbright, of The Dalles, Ore.
A Memorial Mass will be held at

Betty Ann Walters, 69, of Micco,
died Sept. 7, 1997, at Sebastian
River Medical Center after a prolonged illness.
She was born May 26, 1928, in
North Tonawanda, N.Y,, and moved
to Micco one month ago from
North Port.
Mrs. Walters was a retired accountant, having worked for Dunlop Credit Union in North
Tonawanda for 25 years.She was a
member of Saint Mark Lutheran
Church, North Tonawanda.
Surviving are her husband of 49
years, Donald; two sons, Timothy
Walters, of North Tonawanda, and
Terry Walters, of Wheatfield, N.Y.;
three sisters, Marilyn Frieling and
Jeanne Hromonyk, both of North
Tonawanda, and Ruth Maerten, of
Sanborn, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.

Francesco Pellegrino
Francesco A. Pellegrino, 59, 117 Nebraska Circle, Sebastian, died Sept. 14,
1997, at his residence after a prolonged illness.
He was born May 16, 1938, in Medford,
Mass., and moved to Sebastian in 1987
from Wilmington, Mass.
Surviving are his wife, Betty; two sons,
Douglas Pellegrino, of Lowell, Mass., and
Anthony Pellegrino, of Port Orchard,
Wash.; one daughter, Katherine Jewell, of
North Redding, Mass.; two brothers, John
DeDonna, of Louisiana, and Dominick Pellegrino, of New Hampshire; three sisters,
Carmella Collins, of Summerville, Mass.,
Teresa Doo, of Cambridge, Mass., and
Laura; and four grandchildren.

Jerome A. "Jerry" Zybala, 79, of Barefoot
Bay, died Sept. 13, 1997, at his residence
after a prolonged illness.
He was born Aug. 11, 1918, in Bayonne, N.J., and moved to Barefoot Bay 13
years ago from East Meadow, N.Y.
Mr. Zybala worked as a solicitor for Columbus Lines, Manhattan, N.Y. He was a
member of St. Luke's Catholic Church,
Barefoot Bay, the Downtown Athletic
Club, New York City, the New York Traffic
Club and a life member and a 4th Degree
Knight of the Knights of Columbus.He
was a member of the Barefoot Bay Golf
and Country Club and the Lions Club, both
of Barefoot Bay.He was a U.S. Army Air
Corps veteran of World War II and was a
recipient of the Purple Heart.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Dorothy; and one sister, Victoria Laveglia, of
Queens, N.Y.
A funeral Mass was be celebrated Sept.
17 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Barefoot
Bay, with the Rev. Lucien Duquette officiating.
Interment followed at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Palm Bay.
Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian, was
in charge of arrangements.
Lorraine Paulsen
Lorraine B. Paulsen, 78, of Micco, died
Sept. 11, 1997, at Sebastian River Medical
Center, Roseland, after a brief illness.
She was born May 15, 1919, in Ansonia,
Conn., and moved to Micco five years ago
from North Haverhill, N.H.
Mrs. Paulsen was a secretary and accountant for Petzold Co. in Seymour,
Conn.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years,
John; a daughter, Linda Thompson, of Midlothian, Va.; two brothers, Charles Bunting
and Allen Bunting, both of Seymour,
Conn., three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11
a.m. Saturday atStrunk Funeral Home, Sebastian, with Frank Camillo officiating.

Norman Franklin "Norm" Cultice, 89,
Barefoot Bay, died Sept. 12, 1997, at Sebastian River Medical Center, Roseland, after
brief illness.
He was born Aug. 27, 1908, in Marion
Ind., and moved to Barefoot Bay in 1983
from his birthplace.
Mr. Cultice wasa retired manager of
the Campbell Soup Co. can plant in Chicago. He was a member and chairman of
the trustees of the Centenary United Methodist Church, Terre Haute, Ind. He was a
member of the Masonic Lodge, Marion,
and the Scottish Rite and Zorah Shrine,
Terre Haute.
Surviving are his daughter, Jackie
Hughes, of Terre Haute; and one grandchild.

Warwick, R.I., and moved to Barefoot Bay
10 years ago from Pittsford, N.Y.
Mrs. Tremblay was a homemaker and a
Catholic.
Surviving are one daughter, Cynthia
Tremblay, of Lakeville, Minn.; one son,
Mark Tremblay, of Rochester, N.Y.; and
two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m.,
