He was born in Holgin, Cuba, and moved to this area 11 years ago from Long Island, N.Y. He was a foreman at Able Telecommunications and Power, member of Restorations Ministries Church, Tampa, and Christian by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Loleris; four sons, Isnel of Cuba, Maikel of Miami, and Jason Jesus and Gary Roberto, both of Spring Hill; two daughters, Jacqueline and Ashley, both of Spring Hill; his mother, Bertha Dalmau of Cuba; and a brother, Rodolfo of New Port Richey.

Willard K. Vanderslice, 80, of Brooksville, died Thursday, April 5, 2001 at Evergreen Woods Health & Rehab Center.
He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Reston, Va. He was a retired accountant for the U.S. Government and Baptist by faith.
There are no known survivors.

Stephen P. Meglic, of Spring Hill, died April 3, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and moved to this area 20 years ago from Phillipsburg, N.J. He was a retired labor union president, U.S. Army veteran and member of St. Frances Cabrini Roman Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Daisy; a son, Stephen of Belvedere, N.J.; a daughter, Penny Matyger of Spring Hill; two brothers, Joseph of Easton, Pa., and Albert of Phillipsburg; two sisters, Theresa Templeton of Bath, Pa., and Julia Schlert of Easton; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Wilbur B. 'Bud' Kramer
Wilbur B. 'Bud' Kramer, 90, of High Point, Brooksville, died Thursday, April 5, 2001 under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
He was born in Wyoming, Ohio, and moved to this area 23 years ago from Clinton, Iowa. He was a retired foreman for Dairy Pak Inc., Clinton, Iowa, after 40 years of service, and member of Elks Lodge 2582, Brooksville, Moose Lodge, Clinton, and St. Frances Cabrini Roman Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Harriet; two daughters, Nancy Fitzgerald of Alma, Neb., and Darlene Platter of Lakeland; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Margaret Katherine Engstrom
Margaret Katherine Engstrom, 83, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001 at Vencor Hospital Central Tampa.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 13 years ago from Ozona Shores. She was a retired cashier for Publix supermarkets and member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Root of Frankfort, Ill.; two sons, Bernard of Chicago and Jack of Elk Grove village, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

George A. Roady, Sr.
George A. Roady, Sr., 84, of Cloverleaf Farms, Brooksville, died Thursday, April 5, 2001 at his home.
He was born in Gillespie, Ill., and moved to this area 23 years ago from Ft. Lauderdale. He worked for Bell Telephone Co. in maintenance for 28 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, member of VFW, Spring Hill, Musicians Union, Illinois, and Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian; a daughter, Janice Schultz of Tioga, Pa.; and a granddaughter, Michelle Powers of California.

Michael Siroki
Michael Siroki, 87, of Brooksville, died Saturday, May 26, 2002 at Heartland of Brooksville.
Born in Drifton, Pa., he moved to this area 30 years ago from Bound Brook, N.J. He was a retired truck driver in the construction industry and member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
He is survived by a son, Michael Jr., and three sisters.

Karl Heinz Flemig
Karl Heinz Flemig, 77, of Spring Hill, died Friday, May 25, 2002 at the Hospice Unite of Brooksville.
Born in Germany, he moved to this area 45 years ago from there. He was a retired machinist; a member of the German-American Club of Spring Hill; and was Lutheran by faith.
He is survived by his wife, Elisabeth; two daughters, Ingrid Bosco of Spring Hill and Astrid Venditti of Valparaiso, Ind.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Robert W. Calloway, 84, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Piqua, Ohio, and moved to this area 32 years ago from Oran, Ohio. He was a retired self-employed electrician and attended Grace Presbyterian Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include a son, Donn E. of Brooksville; three grandchildren, Shellee Johnston, Diann Kessler and Barby Leblanc, all of Brooksville; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mario J. Davino, 82, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 17 years ago from Mineola, N.Y. He was a marine electrician for I.B.E.W. Local 3, Brooklyn, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of VFW Post 10209, Spring Hill, U.S.S. L.S.M. and L.S.M.R. Naval Association of Florida and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Antoinette; a son, Michael J. of Miller Place, N.Y.; two daughters, Marianne Oliva of Foothill Ranch, Calif., and Susan Scotto of Bronxville, N.Y.; a brother, Frank of Ozone Park, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was born in Senglea, Malta, and moved to this area 16 years ago from Livonia, Mich. He retired after 29 years as a factory worker for General Motors, was a World War II British Navy veteran and attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Ellenor 'Molly'; a brother, Joseph of Senglea; and two sisters, Carmen Hopkins of M'skala, Malta, and Ethel of Toronto, Canada.

Eugenia Rhew, 69, of Pristine Place, Spring Hill, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2001 at her home.
She was born in Caledonia, Miss., and moved to this area four years ago from Tampa. She was a housewife and a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include her mother, Gladys Neaves of Spring Hill; a daughter, Karen of Tallahassee; a son, Charles of Hudson; a brother, Larry Neaves of Ft. Lauderdale; and four grandchildren.

Murray E. Brandin, 89, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2001 at his home.
He was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 17 years ago from Leesburg, Fla. He was a retired engineer for Bell Laboratories, a volunteer for the past 10 years at Oak Hill Hospital, and a member of Telephone Pioneers and Grace Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel C.; and several nieces and nephews.

Violet M. Meyer, 82, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001 at her home.
She was born in Elgin, Ill., and moved to this area 30 years ago from Glenview, Ill. She was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a Presbyterian by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Roy J.; a son, Michael P. of Tampa; two daughters, Rosemary Matchen of Spring Grove, Ill., and Sharon Sousa of Springfield, Mass.; four brothers, Edward Brush of Arizona, Frank Brush of California, and Robert and Bud, both of Illinois; three sisters, Florence and Marjory of Illinois, and Lois of Florida; and four grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Michael Corbin of Cleveland, Ga.; a daughter, Angelia Ramson of Gillsville, Ga.; a brother, Thomas of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Doris Folger of Atlanta and Bennie Ruth of Dahlonega, Ga.; and three grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Anita; two sons, Edward Ziokowski of Ormond Beach and George Ziokowski of Little Ferry, N.J.; a daughter, Elizabeth Pirate of Maywood; a brother, Chester Ziokowski of Spring Hill; a sister, Wanda Ziokowski of Spring Hill; and three grandchildren.

Leo A. Stopa, 79, of Cape Coral, formerly of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003 at his home.
He was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area 15 years ago. He was a manager with the Hills Brothers coffee manufacturer for 40 years, a first lieutenant with the U.S. Air Force serving in World War II with the 455th bomb group European Theatre with 43 bomb missions, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothea; a son, Gary Stopa of Cape Coral; two daughters, Kathleen Lavoie of Manchester, Conn., and Karen Maison of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, John Stopa of Detroit, Mich.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

James Lawrence Church, 76, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002 at his home. Born in Watauga County, N.C., he moved to this area six years ago from Lakeland. He was a tool and dye maker for Allied Chemical, worked at the Lakeland Ledger newspaper and was a member of Highlands Baptist Church, Spring Hill. He is survived by his wife, Oretha; two sons, Charles of Lakeland and John of Babson Park; a daughter, Brenda S.
