Doris R. Shumosky, 79, of Brooksville, died Friday, May 7, 2004, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Beccaria, Pa., and moved to Florida 17 years ago from Bridgeport, Conn. She was a retired real estate broker.
She is survived by three sons, Richard of Fern Park, Fla., Albert of Brooksville and Dennis of Altamonte Springs.

Kenneth G. Hooton, 74, of Brooksville, died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at his home.
He was a member of the F.O.E., an avid golfer and an accomplished ballroom dancer.
Survivors include his wife, Geri; a son, Mark Hooton of Comos, British Columbia, Canada; a daughter, Wendy Kelly of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; and four grandchildren.

Vincent Edward Coltellino, 76, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at his home.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 14 years ago from Commack, Long Island, N.Y. He retired from the plastic manufacturing industry as a plant manager, was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; four sons, Vincent of Commack, Kenneth of Willards, Md., Peter of Ronkonkoma, N.Y., and James of Berlin, Md.; a daughter, Helen Vitz of Greeley, Pa.; a sister, Violet Miani of Palm Harbor; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Raiford C. Harden, 73, of Brooksville, died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Norman Park, Ga., and moved to this area 55 years ago from Moultrie, Ga. He was a retired supervisor for Deltona Corp., a Korean conflict U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and a member of First Baptist Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include his wife, Love J.; a daughter, Love Zajac of Brooksville; three sisters, Bernice Taylor of Newton, Ga., and Louise Alred and Linda Frye, both of Brooksville; and two grandchildren.

Ann Bartley, 80, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area 23 years ago from Bloomingdale, N.J. She retired from Allied Felt, Inc. as an office manager after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Sunshine Club, Hope Anew, Widows and Singles Club, Senior Friends, Italian American Club of Pasco County and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.

Henry S. Bartz, 85, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at his home.
He was born in Charleroi, Pa., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Dearborn, Mich. He was a retired sheet metal worker and a World War II and Korean conflict U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria.

Lois Fritts, 67, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, May 9, 2004, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Elizabeth, N.J., and moved to this area six years ago from Allentown, Pa. She was a retired Realtor, a former employee of the U.S. Postal Service, Cranford, N.J., and a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include four sons, Steven Caruso of South Dakota, William Caruso of East Stroudsburg, Pa., Russell Caruso of Lebanon, N.J., and Clifford Fritts of Slatington, Pa.; a sister, Doris Phillips of Allentown; and six grandchildren.

Ellwood "Woody" Lloyd, 80, of Brooksville, died Sunday, May 9, 2004, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 18 years ago from Northbrook, Ill. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a member of Northbrook American Legion Post 791, Hope Community Bible Church, and Citrus County Model Railroad Club, and was a model railroad enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia; a son, Lou of North Carolina; a daughter, Linda Lloyd Zannini of North Carolina; and a grandson.

Robert E. Williams, 84, of Brookridge, Brooksville, died Saturday, March 31, 2001 at his home.
He was born in Brooklyn, Iowa, and moved to this area three years ago from Edgewater, Fla. He was a retired truck operator and owner of Robert Williams Nursery, Alva, Fla., and Methodist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Elinor; two sons, two daughters; a sister, Ruth Gras of Ormond Beach; and six stepchildren.

Arthur Ray Williams III
Arthur Ray Williams III, 18, of Live Oak, died Sunday, April 1, 2001 at his home.
He was born in Rockledge, Fla. He was a general laborer and attended First Baptist Church, Live Oak.
Survivors include his mother, Kathryn Dunn Freund of Live Oak; his father, Arthur Ray, Jr. of O'Brien, Fla.; a sister, Kari Payne of Cocoa; three stepsisters, Kerry Johnson and Rhiannon, both of O'Brien, and Christine Freund of Jacksonville; a brother, Theodore of Live Oak; maternal grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Phillips of Live Oak; maternal grandmother, Christine Freund of Washingtonville, N.Y.; paternal grandparents, Warren and Jean Ellrick of Live Oak; paternal grandmother, Helen Altman of Lake City; a nephew; and four nieces.

Adam Leroy Broshears II, 35, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, March 24, 2001 in Evansville, Ind.
He was born in Jacksonville.
Survivors include his parents, Adam L. and Loretta of Brooksville; four brothers, Michael of Inverness, Jason of Weeki Wachee, and Chad and Kraig, both of Brooksville; his grandfather, Adam G. of Brooksville; and his grandmother, Vaunda Doughty of Evansville.

Ralph L. Benke, Sr., 81, of Hernando Beach, died Sunday, April 1, 2001 at Bayonet Point Medical Center, Hudson.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio, and moved to this area 27 years ago from Washington. He was a retired officer for the U.S. Army, member of Hernando Beach VFW, and Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include his son, Ralph L., Jr.; two daughters, Karen Harris of Washington and Kathy White of Georgia; a brother, Clayton of St. Petersburg; two sisters, Mary Brant of Georgia and Ruth Ann of Ohio; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Madeline "Madge" Unger, 86, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, March 7, 2004, at Sterling House.
She was born in Indianapolis, Ind., and moved to this area 23 years ago from Pittsburgh, Pa. She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Patrick of Bakertown, Pa.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Ruth M. Ferro, 81, of Spring Hill, died Friday, March 5, 2004, at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Burns, Kan., and moved to this area 11 years ago from Seattle, Wash. She retired as a secretary in the public school system after 30 years of service and also served as the secretary/treasurer for Crystal Lake, Inc., the community in Woodinville, Wash. where she lived for over 25 years. In the 1980s, she began working as a tour guide and later as a wedding consultant for the St. Michelle Winery in Woodinville. She was often a paid soloist at some of Seattle's largest churches; and in the 1960s, she was accepted into the Seattle Opera and sang with them for many years. She was a member of Mariner United Methodist Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol McReynolds of Minneapolis, Minn., and Jan O'Neil of Woodinville; four stepchildren, William Ferro Jr. of Everett, Wash., John Ferro of Boring, Ore., Tamara Garnett of Port Ludlow, Wash., and Debbie Grand of Lynnwood, Wash.; two brothers, John Spinden and William Spinden, both of Cottonwood Falls, Kan.; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Collett of Marion, Kan., and Helen June Countryman of Wichita, Kan.; and 10 grandchildren.

Celeste Cartwright, 74, of Brookridge, Brooksville, died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at her home.
She was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area seven years ago from Palatka. She was a retired secretary for Graybar Electric, an avid bingo player and traveled extensively.
Survivors include two brothers, Richard and Joe Milone, both of Brooksville; a sister, Millie Coffer of Orlando; five nieces; three nephews; eight grandnieces; 10 grandnephews; a great-grandniece; and three great-grandnephews.

Doris Huckaby Greene, 68, of Brandon, formerly of Brooksville, died Friday, March 5, 2004, at Brandon Hospital.
She was born in Rome, Ga., and moved to this area in the '40s from Rome, Ga., before moving to Tampa in 1959. She was a customer service representative for Bright House Cable, a hairdresser, worked for Montgomery Ward, and was a past member of First Baptist Church, Brooksville and Lake Lindsey United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Keith Greene of St. Petersburg; a daughter, Diane Tyndall of Coconut Creek; a sister, Ellen Wenzler of Winston Salem, N.C.; a brother, Bill Huckaby of Brooksville; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Virginia G. Milando, 84, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, March 7, 2004, at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.

Survivors include her son, Carl Milando of Spring Hill; a sister, Jeanette Consiglio; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Pete; and three sons, John of Brooksville, Mike of Spring Hill and Pete Jr. of Brooksville.

Christopher Krivjansky, 20, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, March 6, 2003 in Spring Hill.

Survivors include his mother and father, Kimberly and Leonard of Vallejo, Calif.; two brothers, Nicholas and Mitchell, both of Spring Hill; and a sister, Miranda Cutrole of Spring Hill.
