He was born in New York City, N.Y., and moved to this area six years ago from New York. He worked as an auto mechanic and was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Edna and Howard Boer of Spring Hill; two brothers, Richard of Spring Hill and Hans Thomsen of New York City; a sister, Catherine M. Miller of Otisville, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews; a great-niece; and a great-nephew.

William Ide, 71, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001 at Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point, Hudson.
He was a native of Scranton, Pa., and moved to this area 10 years ago from Canton, Mich. He was a retired schoolteacher and a Korean War U.S. Air Force veteran.

John Henry 'Pops' Brady, 76, of Holiday, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001 at Northbay Hospital, New Port Richey.
He was born in Cairo, Ga., and moved to this area 35 years ago from Cairo. He was a dairy farmer in Tarpon Springs for many years before moving to Holiday.
Survivors include four sons, Leroy and Lamar, both of Spring Hill, and William of New Port Richey and Preston of Hudson; two daughters, Dorothy Smith of Tarpon Springs and Debra Vissering of Toluca, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Louise Skopetz, 81, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Alexander; a sister, Geraldine Munoz of Malden, Mass.; and a brother, Alexander Panarese of Everett, Mass.

Lenora A. Hinkley, 89, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001 at Eastbrooke Health Care Center, Brooksville.
She moved to this area 70 years ago from her native Holder, Fla. She was a library assistant for the Main Library, Brooksville, for 20 years, treasurer for the Humane Society of Hernando County, Brooksville, and a member of First United Methodist Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include three sons, Jimmy of Carlsbad, Calif., Ben of Brandon, Fla., and Tom of Brooksville; three daughters, Vivian Wolf, Margaret Clayton and Betty Fava, all of Brooksville; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pauline Benik Seles, 92, of Spring Hill, died Friday, March 23, 2001 at Crown Point Assisted Living Facility.
She was born in Butler, Pa., and moved to this area 59 years ago from Youngstown, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Julius of Brooksville; three daughters, Mildred Howells of Spring Hill, Irene Browne of Valrico and Gloria Baker of Earleton; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

James Calvin Miller
James Calvin Miller, 73, of Weeki Wachee, died Thursday, March 22, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., and moved to Tarpon Springs 43 years ago from Jackson, Mich., before moving to Weeki Wachee 14 years ago. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Tarpon Springs, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a Tarpon Springs volunteer fireman for many years, former member of Tarpon Lodge F&AM 112 and Elks Lodge BPOE, Tarpon Springs, and a member of American Legion Post 46 and First United Methodist Church, Tarpon Springs.
Survivors include his wife, Mona; a son, Jim of Holiday; two daughters, Wanda Alderman of Holiday and Ann Lane of Tarpon Springs; his mother, Viola "Peg" of Tarpon Springs; a brother, Gerald of Port Richey; five grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Ronald W. Beck, 54, of Spring Hill, died Monday, May 7, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He moved to this area six years ago from his native Altoona, Pa. He was a district manager, U.S. Air Force veteran, co-founder of Project Winter Warm, Altoona, involved with Special Olympics activities, Altoona, and attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Anita; a stepson, Eric Beeler of Altoona; two stepdaughters, Tracie Eisel of Greensboro, N.C., and Donna Neely of Altoona; a brother, Perry of Altoona; a sister, Patti McCracken of Harrisburg, Pa.; and four stepgrandchildren.

Mary A. Permar, 81, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, May 8, 2001 at Brooksville Health Care Center, Hospice Unit.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 31 years ago from Kew Gardens, N.Y. She was a homemaker, an original member of the Spring Hill Women's Club, charter member of The Heather Golf Club, volunteer organist for assisted living facilities, and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and its Choir.
Survivors include two sons, Robert K. Blake of Spring Hill and James Blake of Jamaica, N.Y.; a daughter, Mary DeLoca of Boca Raton; a sister, Anne MacAlpine of Douglaston, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Nancy A. Reiman, 41, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, May 3, 2001 at her home.

Mary Theresa Beane, 63, of Brooksville, died Friday, March 22, 2002 at her home. Born in Detroit, Mich., she moved to this area 14 years ago from Sterling Heights, Mich. Evelyn G. Marsh, 89, of Hurst, Texas, died Sunday, March 10, 2002 at her home. Born in Chicago, Ill., she was a former resident of Brooksville. She worked as a bank teller for 25 years. She was a retired receptionist for Pittburg Paint and Glass, member of the Pennsylvania Club of Spring Hill and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. She was a retired assistant vice president for Hernando State Bank, then Sunbank. She was on the board at St. Anthony Catholic Church, the American Heart Association, and the Hernando County Fair Committee. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He was retired from Waldbaums Supermarkets and was a World War II U.S. Marine Corps veteran and Korean War U.S. Air Force veteran.
