He was born in Green Castle, Ind., and moved to this area eight years ago from New Port Richey. He was an appointment clerk for Wal-Mart.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; a son, Timothy Jr. of Brooksville; and a daughter, Kelly of Brooksville.

Anthony John "Tom" Daly, 77, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
She was born in Queens, N.Y., and moved to this area 15 years ago from Long Island, N.Y. He was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, where he served as usher, Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, The Holy Name Society, and coordinator of the grounds crew.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; a brother, Harold of San Antonio, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Walter E. Brown Sr., 61, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, March 16, 2003 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area two years ago from Elkridge, Md. He was a truck driver, a member of the Teamsters Union, and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include three sons, Walter Jr. of Spring Hill, Robert of Ocala, and Craig of Pasadena, Md.; three daughters, Geraldine of Hanover, Md., Sherry Dolan of Lynchburg, Va., and Mary Willard of Pennsylvania; a brother; two sisters; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Katherine R. MacDonald, 86, of Spring Hill, died Friday, March 14, 2003 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Havertown, Pa. She worked at the Most Blessed Sacrament as the secretary of the General Council for Mother Catherine Drexel in Arizona and was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her nephew, Anthony Adair of Brookhaven, Pa.; a niece, Catherine Wilson of Philadelphia; and two great-nephews.

Joseph F. "Buzzy" Dixon Jr., 59, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, March 15, 2003 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Staten Island, N.Y., and moved to this area 18 years ago from Staten Island. He was a retired officer for the New York City Transit Department, a graduate of McKee High School, Staten Island, and a member of the Moose Lodge and Hernando County 1013 Club.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; his parents, Joseph Sr. and Dorothy of Port Richey; a daughter, Carolyn Dixon of Staten Island; three sons, William of Hopewell Junction, N.Y., Joseph "Jay" of Gainesville and Michael of Tampa; a brother, Albert of Hudson; and three grandchildren.

Vartouhi "Rose" Kochounian, 92, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, March 15, 2003 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Turkey and moved to this area 47 years ago from Evanston, Ill. She was a homemaker and Armenian Orthodox by faith.
Survivors include a son, Vahe "Willy"; two daughters, Jacqueline Barsumian of Naples and Anne Barsumian of San Clemente, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Marie P. Tarr, 76, of Brooksville, died Sunday, March 9, 2003 at Brooksville Healthcare Center.
She was born in Lansing, Mich., and moved to this area 19 years ago from Spring Arbor, Mich. She was retired from Spartan Electronics after 28 years of service, a volunteer at Brooksville Regional Hospital for 10 years, and attended First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Albert; two sons, Robert Herendeen and David Herendeen, both of Michigan; two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Dellarte of Michigan and Andre Miller of Kentucky; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

William E. Evans, 78, of Brooksville, died Saturday, March 15, 2003 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Miami and moved to this area 25 years ago from Fort Walton Beach. He was a former counseling psychologist and mental health counselor in Hernando County. He retired after 21 years of serving with both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corp as a veteran of World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Rose; two nieces, Betty Lou Olmen of Inverness and Emilie S. Sluyter of Hernando; and a nephew, Gerald Dinardo of California.

Survivors include her husband, Louis; a son, Louis Jr. of New Port Richey; a sister, Frances of Colorado; and two brothers, Lawrence Bellino of Sunnyside, Queens, N.Y., and Albert Bellino of Oceanside, N.Y.

She was born in Fairmont, W.Va., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Pond Eddy, N.Y. She was a retired assembler for Kolmar Labs and a member of First United Methodist Church, Brooksville, and Pond Eddy United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Carol Ann Cooper of Pond Eddy, Joann Meyer-Trumbull of Spring Hill, Thomasina Sue "Pip" Cyrek of Eldred, N.Y., and Donna Lee; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

William E. Cosgrove, 71, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, March 16, 2003 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Somerville, Mass., and moved to this area 11 years ago from Bristol, N.H. He worked as a school bus driver in Hernando County for 10 years, and he had retired from ComEnergy Systems, Cambridge, Mass. He was a Korean conflict U.S. Army veteran, a member of VFW Post 10209 and an Episcopalian by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou; four daughters, Patricia of Spring Hill, Cheryll Hughes of Stoneham, Mass., and Lauren and Susan, both of Massachusetts; a sister, Mae Fales of Stoneham; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Sarah Ann "Sally" Ellis, 77, of Spring Hill, died Monday, March 8, 2004, at Oak Hill Hospital.

She was a union seamstress in New Jersey, a 45-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Atco, and a crane operator for Baldwin Locomotive - Crane Operators in Chester during World War II. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Dennis of Audubon, N.J.; a daughter, Peggy Ballay of Spring Hill; a brother, Bill McConnell of Boothwin, Pa.; and three grandchildren:

Benjamin B. Bendel, 80, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at Evergreen Woods Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area 13 years ago from North Miami Beach. He was the owner and operator of a taxi service, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a member of DAV Chapter 67, Brooksville, and was Jewish by faith.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to this area 13 years ago from Tabb, Va. He was a test man for Bell Telephone for over 31 years and was a World War II U.S. Navy Seabee veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne; a son, Chris of Savannah, Ga.; two daughters, Linda MacLeod of Langhorne, Pa., and Donna Henry of Newport News, Va.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Agnes Skraba of Brookridge, Brooksville, died Monday, March 8, 2004, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Mt. Clare, W.Va., and moved to this area 29 years ago from Barberton, Ohio. She was a retired clerical worker for a boiler manufacturing company and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
She is survived by her caregiver and friend, Elizabeth Wolfe.

John "Jack" Meade Jr., 76, of Brookridge, Brooksville, died Monday, March 8, 2004, at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Hudson.
He was born in Schenectady, N.Y., and moved to this area 22 years ago from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He retired as a senior warranty claims analyst after 24 years with General Motors. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during World War II in Korea, was a past member of Brooksville Elks Lodge 2582, and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Jean; a son, John J. III of California; two daughters, Joan Weatherly of Floral City and Linda C. DeWees of Trenton; a stepson, David Whitford of Uhrichsville, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Barbara L. Brown of Stow, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Hilda J. Matchett, 87, of Brooksville, died Friday, March 5, 2004, at Heron Pointe Nursing Home, Brooksville.
She was born in Germany and moved to this area 30 years ago from Sacramento, Calif. She was a retired manufacturing manager for the U.S. Government. She was a U.S. Army WAC, an officer in the Salvation Army, Brooksville, a volunteer at Brooksville Regional Hospital, and a Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include a brother, John Beck of Berlin, Mass.; two sisters, Emily Slater of Clinton, Mass., and Heidi Hawes of Mashpee, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael Rosen Quaresimo, 60, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area nine years ago from Staten Island, N.Y. He was a retired bus driver, a private investigator, and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, the North American Hunting Club and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include a son, Eric of South Ozone Park, N.Y.; a daughter, Elaine Sanchez of Valley Stream, Long Island, N.Y.; a stepbrother, Eddie Moran of Spring Hill; a sister, Diane Rosen Harris of St. Augustine; his mother, Anna Fagin of St. Augustine; and two grandchildren.

Regina Miller, 85, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001 at Brooksville Health Care Center.

Survivors include her brother, William W. of Spring Hill and numerous nieces and nephews.
