She was a native of Westbrook, Minn., and moved to this area 14 years ago from Mokena, Ill. She was a keypunch operator for the Federal Reserve Bank.
She is survived by her cousin, Irene VanNess of Brooksville.

Thomas McPhillips
Thomas McPhillips, 72, of Spring Hill, died Friday, June 1, 2001 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Brooksville.
He was born in Scranton, Pa., and moved to this area 10 years ago from Lenoir, N.C. He was a retired production manager for a heavy equipment company, a member of DAV Chapter 67, Brooksville, and attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Jane; a son, Thomas, Jr. of Spring Hill; a daughter, Colleen Swope of Pottstown, Pa.; and three sisters, Carmel McDonnell of Scranton, Eleanor Stecker of Clarks Summit, Pa., and Ann Therese Coehnlein of Philadelphia, Pa.

Lucy C. Pastore, 80, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, June 2, 2001 at her home.
She was born in Queens, N.Y., and moved to this area 29 years ago from Long Island, N.Y. She was a retired seamstress and attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include three sons, Anthony of Spring Hill, Vito, Jr. of New Port Richey and Albert of Homosassa; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

David A. Young, Sr.
David A. Young, Sr., 70, of Spring Hill, formerly of Beverly Hills, Fla., died Sunday, June 3, 2001 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Brooksville.
He was born in New Brighton, Pa., and moved to this area eight years ago from Austintown, Ohio. He was a retired minister and a member of West Brooksville Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta; a son, David A., Jr. of Charleston, W.Va.; two daughters, Deborah E. Nelson of New Gallee, Pa., and Diana M. Diehl of Odessa; a brother, Charles of East Palestine, Ohio; a sister, Norma Anderson of New Brighton; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

James C. Radesky, 76, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, June 3, 2001 at his home.
He was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area 14 years ago from Taylor, Mich. He was a retired electrician for Chrysler Corporation, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine; three sons, Daniel Neiman of Sturtevant, Wis., David Neiman of Silver Springs and Randy Neiman of Hartford, Wis.; a daughter, Karen Kohsmann of Spring Hill; his mother, Marie of Taylor; a sister, Louise Horvath of Taylor; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Charles James Mataro
Charles James Mataro, 88, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, June 2, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Newark, N.J., and moved to this area five years ago from Ocean Gate, N.J. He was a retired stationary fireman at a boiler company and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include a son, James of Ocean Gate; and a daughter, Rosalie Meyer of Spring Hill.

Alice Maxfield
Alice Maxfield, 72, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, April 5, 2001 at her home.
She was born in Paisley, Scotland, and moved to this area five years ago from Glen Ridge, N.J. She was a retired legal secretary and Roman Catholic by faith.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen and David, both of Spring Hill; two brothers, James Mills of Glen Ridge and Edward Mills of Summerville, N.J.; two sisters, Mary Giuliano of Lake Ariel, Pa., and Margaret Betts of Arlington, Texas; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

James Edward Graves
James Edward Graves, 72, of Brooksville, died Friday, March 30, 2001 at Heartland of Brooksville.
He was born in Robinson Springs, Ala., and moved to this area 60 years ago. He was a retired equipment supervisor for Florida Crushed Stone and member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Roger of Silverdale, Wash., Ricky of Odenton, Md., and James, Jr. of Beaufort, S.C.; three daughters, Gloria Graves-Taylor of Brooksville, Mary E. of Tampa and Suzzett Norman of Brooksville; four brothers, Robert of Brooksville, Samuel of Detroit, Mich., and Dan and Joseph, both of Millbrook, Ala.; two sisters, Elizabeth Billups, Ala., and Clara M. Smith of Montgomery, Ala.; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Demitreus Marque Sesler, 27, of Minneapolis, Minn., formerly of Brooksville, died Monday, April 2, 2001 in Minneapolis.
He was born in Dade City. He was a truck driver, a 1992 graduate of Hernando High School, Brooksville, U.S. Army veteran and member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Kyrah Monae of Minneapolis; his father, Clyde Eugene of Brooksville; his mother, Mary Frances of Brooksville; three brothers, Everett B. of Minneapolis, Michael I. of Dunnellon and Brice K. of Citrus Springs; paternal grandfather, Fred of Wildwood; and maternal grandparents, Adell and Izcar Jones of Brooksville.

Ingeborg Kipperman, 94, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001 at Brooksville Health Care Center.
She was born in Germany and moved to this area many years ago from New Hampshire. She was a homemaker and Jehovah Witness by faith.
There are no known survivors.

Louise Beatrice Schug, 94, of Brooksville, died Thursday, April 5, 2001 at Atria Assisted Living.
She was a native of Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 16 years ago from Elmhurst, Ill. She was a retired office clerk for Western Electric and member of Mariner United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sister, Delores Melowitz of Brooksville and several nieces and nephews.

Sylvia Prokop
Sylvia Prokop, 87, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, April 5, 2001 at Country Comfort House.
She moved to this area 27 years ago from her native Pittsburgh, Pa. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sister, Heloise Lahner of North Huntington, Pa.

Virginia S. Hyrniszak Herbert, 90, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at her daughter's home in Spring Hill.
She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., moved to Clearwater 37 years ago, and moved to Spring Hill seven years ago. She was a seamstress.
Survivors include a daughter, Dolores Auslander of Spring Hill; a son, David of Atlanta, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Robert A. Cordani, 66, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area three years ago from Winter Haven. He retired from New York State Parks and Recreation Department. He was a member of Sons of Italy and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria; a son, Michael Scheerer of Delaware; four daughters, Susan Walls of Long Island, N.Y., Jean Marie Bruinsma of Hernando Beach, Margaret "Peggy" Cordani of Spring Hill and Laura Vermillion of Hewitt, N.J.; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Christine Taylor, 52, of Brooksville, died Friday, May 14, 2004, at Shands Hospital of Florida, Gainesville.
She was born in Brooksville and was a lifelong resident. She was a respiratory technician for Brooksville Regional Hospital and a member of New Jerusalem Church of God, Brooksville, and Kelly's Elks Temple 1004.
Survivors include a son, Lyndell Genard Hudson of Brooksville; a daughter, Marguerita Tolbert; five brothers, Willie Gene Hudson of Miramar, Richard Hudson II, Johnnie Lee Hudson, Elder Freddie Lee Hudson and Ricardo Hudson, all of Brooksville; three sisters, Ruby Lee Revell and Annie Merl Elliott, both of Brooksville, and Alice Mae Pollard of Apopka; and two grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie; five sons, Harold III of Orlando, Stanley of Atlanta, Ga., and Clinton Dwight, Charles and Earl, all of Brooksville; two daughters, Denise Paige and Harriet Willis, both of Brooksville; his mother, Josephine Grennidge of Brooksville; a sister, Anna Stephens of St. Petersburg; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area 30 years ago. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 375, Brooksville, American Legion, Spring Hill, and Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, William L. Jr. of Babylon, N.Y.; two daughters, Wahnita DeFrancesco and Betty Jane Marshall, both of Spring Hill; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was born in Englewood, N.J., and moved to this area 16 years ago from Cliffside Park, N.J. He was retired from the Cliffside Park Fire Department after 29 years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Weeki Wachee.
Survivors include his wife, Joan; a daughter, Stacey Karns of Spring Hill; two sons, Frank of Fairview, N.J., and Sean of Brooksville; a brother, Bruce Wheeler of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Arlene Zarro of Lakewood, N.J.; and a grandson.

Leonard M. Wivinis, 89, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to Florida 30 years ago. He worked for Union Carbide, Film and Packaging Division. He was a foreman in air conditioning and heating and a supervisor in pipe shop and pneumatic instrumentation. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his son, Gerald P. of Masaryktown; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
