She was born in Astoria, N.Y., and moved to this area 14 years ago from Medford, N.Y. She was a Registered Nurse for 30 years and was the head nurse at Lakeland Regional Hospital. She was also one of the original RNs at Oak Hill Hospital. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, David; two sons, Jeffrey of Crystal River and James of Spring Hill; three daughters, Sarah Egan and Vanessa, both of Tampa, and Rachel McVay of Spring Hill; her parents, Alfred and Marie Wolf of Spring Hill; two brothers, Robert Wolf of Tampa and Alfred Jr. of Cobb's Landing; a sister, Marie Lucier of Spring Hill; and three grandchildren.

Dorothy E. Bossey, 82, of Spring Hill, died Friday, March 28, 2003 at her home.
She was born in Scituate, Mass., and moved to this area three years ago from Maine. She was a homemaker and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Jackman of Maine and Peter of Massachusetts; two daughters, MaryLou Sadlier of St. Petersburg and Patricia Jones of Michigan; a sister, Lillian Bishop of California; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Larry E. Stone Sr., 60, of Brooksville, died Sunday, March 30, 2003 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Dillon, S.C., and moved to this area 18 years ago from Montville, N.J. He was owner/operator of Larry Stone Painting and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Jean E.; two sons, Larry E. Jr. of Brooksville and Brian of Lyndhurst, N.J.; a sister, Caroline Carroll of Laurinburg, N.C.; and three grandchildren.

Sunderland Marie Lippert, 54, of Crystal River, died Friday, March 28, 2003 at her home.
She was born in Pensacola. She was a Registered Nurse and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis R.; two daughters, Madalyn Marie Wilson of Reno, Nev., and Laurel Gengler of South Salem, N.Y.; a brother, Eric Weiland Jr. of Little Rock, Ark.; a sister, Camille Craddock of Fort Smith, Ark.; and three grandchildren.

Rayburn W. Garner, 89, of Asheville, N.C., formerly of Aripeka, died Saturday, March 29, 2003 in Asheville.
He was born in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and moved to Aripeka 31 years ago. He was a retired high school art teacher, a well-known artist, and a Wesleyan and United Methodist minister.
Survivors include his wife, Olive; a son, Roy of Aripeka; a brother, Harold of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Robert "Silky" Silkowski, 71, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2001 at his home. Born in Chicago, Ill., he moved to this area 11 years ago from Tinley Park, Ill. He worked for R.R. Donnelley and Sons Chicago Division for 43 years as a printer; was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church; and was a member of the 1st Catholic Slovak Ladies Association of Chicago, Ill. He is survived by his wife, Mary; five sons, Robert Jr. of Spring Hill, Alan of Darien, Ill., Russell and Douglas of Tinley Park, Ill. and Howard of Orland Park, Ill.; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a brother, Melvin of Homewood, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bette K. Brown, 76, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001 at Vencor Hospital Central in Tampa. Born in Middletown, Ohio, she moved to this area 23 years ago from Loveland, Ohio. She was a retired executive secretary; leader of The County Cousins Band of Cloverleaf, Brooksville, for 11 years; and was a Christian by faith. She is survived by her husband, Dennie; three sons, Barry of Loveland, Ohio, Roger of Clearwater and Dennis of Flagstaff, Ariz.; a brother, Edward Doench of Brooksville; and two grandchildren, Aaron of Mason, Ohio and Patrick of Loveland, Ohio. Robert "Bob" Middleton, 82, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2001 at his home. Born in Fort Wayne, Ind., he moved to this area 10 years ago from there. He retired after many years with the Fort Wayne Community Schools and was owner of R.D. Middleton Supply Company, Fort Wayne, Ind.; a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Iceland; a member of the Indiana Club of Spring Hill; a lifetime member of VFW Post #10209, Spring Hill; and a member of St. Andrew Episcopal Church. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; three sons, Michael of Franklin, Tenn., Richard and James of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister, Donna Willits of Camarillo, Calif.; and seven grandchildren. Robert "Bob" Adorni, 75, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001 at Regional Medical Center, Bayonet Point. Born in Modadore, Ohio, he moved to this area 25 years ago from there. He was retired as a tire builder with General Tire of Akron after many years; was a WWII U.S. Coast Guard veteran, serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater in the construction unit; was a member of the Ohio Club and Senior Citizens of Hernando County; was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #7987 Veterans' Village, New Port Richey; and was a member of Elfer's Baptist Church and the First Nazarene Church, Spring Hill. He is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, Robert Jr. of California and Steven of Spring Hill; a daughter, Tami Weedo of Spring Hill; two sisters, Helen Kerzie and Donna Kismore, both of Ohio; two brothers, Raymond and Carl, both of Ohio; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Charles H. Knowles, 71, of Timber Pines in Spring Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2001 at Bay Pines' Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, St. Petersburg. Born in Miami, he moved to this area nine years ago from St. Petersburg. He was a retired colonel with the U.S. Marine Corp. after 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church, St. Petersburg Beach; a member of the DAV #143, Largo; and a member of the Retired Officers Association, Spring Hill. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; four sons, Steven and Michael, both of Orlando, Charles of Tampa and David of Greenville, S.C.; three stepsons, Walter Noa of Escanaba, Mich., Harold Noa of Gaylord, Mich. And Robert Noa of New Port Richey; and a sister, Lorna of Miami. Arrangements by the National Cremation Society, Brooksville.

Rose M. Stoffel, 86, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 30 years ago from Bellwood, Ill. She was an assistant manager for a variety store and a member of the Eastern Star and Brooksville Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Jr. of Mundelein, Ill., and John C. of Gifford, Ill.; a sister, Marie Slovacek of Huntington Beach, Calif.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Ronald Hugh Greider, 76, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001 at Heartland of Brooksville.
He was born in Elkhart, Ind., and moved to this area 17 years ago from North Webster, Ind. He was a truck driver and a member of Brooksville Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Betty L.; a son, Keith of Brooksville; two brothers, Wilfred of Cromwell, Ind., and Bernard of Astatula, Fla.; and a granddaughter.

Lillian Colon, 65, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
She was born in New York City, N.Y., and moved to this area 16 years ago from Long Island, N.Y. She was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Antonio; a son, Rick of Spring Hill; a daughter, Debbie Black of Spring Hill; a brother, Raymond Rodriguez of Spring Hill; three sisters, Aurora Yon of Orlando, Peggy Velez of Spring Hill and Delia Soto of New York City; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Richard Joseph Bronsdon, 68, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He was born in Revere, Mass., and moved to this area recently from Rehoboth, Mass. He retired from Xerox, was a Korean Conflict U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the Massachusetts Club and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; four sons, Kenneth, Scott, Christopher and Kevin, all of Massachusetts; a daughter, Karen Hewitt of Massachusetts; two brothers, James of Massachusetts and Thomas of Florida; four sisters, Dorothy Cadogan and Mildred Grasso, both of Massachusetts, Lorraine MacLellan of Florida and June Gallagher of Nebraska; and nine grandchildren.

George Samuel Hoover, 74, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001 at his home.
He was born in Covington, Va., and moved to this area 10 years ago from Mt. Clemens, Mich. He was a retired purchasing agent in commercial displays, a member of Elks Lodge 2582, Brooksville, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 521, Spring Hill, and a Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Edna; and two sisters, Betty Janssen of Bloomfield, Mich., and Mary Crawford of Ocala.

Bernard Cook, 69, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001 at Tampa General Hospital.
He was born in Beckley, W.Va., and moved to this area 13 years ago from Ashtabula, Ohio. He was a member of Brooksville Assembly Church and a Korean Conflict U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; two sons, Bernard, Jr. of Bassett, Va., and Donald E. of Brooksville; a daughter, Debi Rich of Ashtabula; two brothers, Donald E. of Douglasville, Ga., and Gene of Pennsylvania; a sister, Betty Ford of Glascow, W.Va.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Loretta 'Ginger' Stanley
Loretta 'Ginger' Stanley, 59, of High Point, Brooksville, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001 at home.
She was a native of Valley Stream, Long Island, N.Y., and moved to this area 17 years ago from Long Island. She was a retired cosmetologist and licensed truck driver, past president of High Point Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, a member of High Point Mobile Patrol, High Point Golf Club and historian for the High Point Social Club.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne; a son, Wayne E. of East Hampton, Conn.; a daughter, Jeanette Viana of Long Island; two sisters, Diane Hendrickson of Baiting Hollow, Long Island, N.Y., and Marilyn Schlueck of Lakewood, N.J.; and four grandchildren, Anthony, Ryan and Rachelle Mercado and Eric Lofsten.

John Miakshile, 82, of Spring Hill, died Friday, May 14, 2004 at the Hospice Care Center in Brooksville.
He was born in Paterson, N.J. and moved to this area 16 years ago from Haledon, N.J. Miakshile was a World War II veteran and served with the U.S. Coast Guard. He was also a retired Burr Bench operator from Curtiss-Wright in Loki, N.J. and RAF Industries in Midland Park, N.J. He was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Maude Miakshile; three daughters, Judith Penc of E. Brunswick, N.J., Carol Phoenix of Topeka, Kansas and Jacqueline Van Dolan of Haledon, N.J.; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.
