Charles Cooley, 84, of Brooksville, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001 at Brooksville Health Care Center.
He was born in New York City, N.Y., and moved to this area 20 years ago from New York City. He was a member of Retired Officers Association, Brooksville Country Club and VFW Post 10209, and was a Catholic by faith.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen of Tampa.

Carmela Turco
Carmela Turco, 89, of Alpharetta, Ga., formerly of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001.
She was born in Italy. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her daughter, Anne Luccione of Alpharetta; a sister, Peggy Yeager of New Jersey; and a grandson, Thomas Vanderschmidt of Alpharetta.

Louisa Suarez
Louisa Suarez, 80, of Brookridge, Brooksville, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was a native of DePue, Ill., and moved to this area nine years ago from Rocky Point, N.Y. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Dlabola; three sons, James of Huntington Beach, Calif., Donald of Riverside, Calif., and Stephen of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a brother, Louis Perez of State College, Pa.; and three grandchildren.

Howard Champney Parsons
Howard Champney Parsons, 78, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.
He was born in Hanover, N.Y., and moved to this area 14 years ago from Raleigh, N.C. He was a retired engineer in the construction business, a 32 Degree Mason and member of Seneca River Lodge, Baldwinsville, N.Y., a Shriner and member of Amran Shrine, Raleigh, an Eagle Scout, attended St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Spring Hill, and was a member of its choir.
Survivors include his wife, Margery; a son, Gregory of Raleigh; three daughters, Gale White of Havertown, Pa., Anne Edwards of San Antonio, Texas and Abbie Forster of Lake Grove, N.Y.; and 11 grandchildren.

George J. Baier
George J. Baier, 83, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2001 at Brooksville Health Care Center.
He was born in Newark, N.J. He was a retired milkman and a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club in New Jersey, and Spring Hill Moose Lodge, and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Clara A.; two sons, George R. of Cazenovia, N.Y. and Richard R. of Bricktown, N.J.; two daughters, Joan K. of Jobstown, N.J. and Judith Cubberley of Hamilton, N.J.; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Dorothy A. Henseleit
Dorothy A. Henseleit, 85, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2001 at her home.
She was a native of Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area two months ago from Ocala and New Port Richey. She was a homemaker, attended Nativity Lutheran Church, Weeki Wachee and was a member of Joy Lutheran Church of Ocala.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence; three daughters, Carol Larsen of Anna, Ill., Holly Carmichael of Spring Hill, and Deborah Colandrea of Keller, Texas; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three nieces.

Marianne (Anne) Gigliati
Marianne (Anne) Gigliati, 79, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area 15 years ago from Largo. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Louis; two sons, Louis of California and Richard of Florida; two daughters, Tina Brzezinski and Patricia Eaton of Florida; a sister, Rose Carbotti of Claremont; and six grandchildren, Sara, Phillip, Katie, Ferrell, Louis and Courtney.

Allie Elizabeth Hamlett
Allie Elizabeth Hamlett, 70, of Citra, formerly of Brooksville, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001 at Cancer Treatment Center of America, Oklahoma.
She was born in Moultrie, Ga., and lived in Brooksville for many years before moving to Citra. She was a chef for the Marion County School District and a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include two sons, Charles of Tulsa, Okla. and David of Dover, Tenn.; five daughters, Shirley Sowers of Brooksville, Mary Ann Day and Sarah Swinehast, both of Ocala, Vicky Klemm of Hudson and Cindy Rios of Alabama; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Clara K. Kaye, 93, of Brooksville, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001 at Brooksville Health Care Center.

He was born in Taunton, Mass., and moved to this area 12 years ago from Wareham, Mass. He was a retired testman for the phone company, a member of N.R.A. and Hernando Sportsmen Club, and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra; four sons, John of Houston, Texas, Troy and Richard, both of Artesia, N.M., and David of Yarmouth, Mass.; two daughters, Vicki Clemmons of Dexter, N.M. and Christine Powell of Brooksville; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Louise M. Haring, 93, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001 at Bayonet Point Health & Rehab Center, Hudson.
She was born in Baltimore, Md., and moved to this area five years ago from Vero Beach. She was a manager for Francis Brewster Shops, Vero Beach, retiring after 20 years, and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include a son, Donald of Spring Hill; a daughter, Margary Iles of Vero Beach; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Cecelia A. Ronald
Cecelia A. Ronald, 87, of Spring Hill died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001 at the Brooksville Health Care Center Hospice unit.
She was born in Trenton, N.J., and moved to this area 16 years ago. She was a retired shipping clerk from a wire manufacturing company and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include a stepbrother, John Morris of Trenton; and a niece, Kathleen Kinghorn of McLean, Va.

Irene E. Hill, 77, of Ridge Manor, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001 at the North Hampton Manor Nursing Home in Frederick, Md.
She was born in Taylor, Pa., and moved to this area 19 years ago from Seattle, Wash. She was a Catholic by faith and was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Ridge Manor.
Survivors include a son, Lloyd Jr., of Frederick; a brother, Michael Belensky of Allentown, Pa.; a sister, Mary Ann Guthrie of Parma Heights, Ohio; a half brother, Francis Schema of Alexandria, Va.; and two grandsons, Lloyd E. III and Joseph Michael, both of Frederick, Md.

Adele Marie Crowley, 72, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area four years ago from Syosset, N.Y. She was a homemaker and a member of VFW Post 9236 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post 186, and St. Theresa Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, James of Plainview, N.Y.; three daughters, Pat of Hernando Beach, Valerie Hepburn of Vancouver, Wash., and Diane Martell of Commack, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.

Rita Mary Kish, 67, of Spring Hill died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice House.
She was born in Bridgeport, Conn., and moved to this area six years ago from Trumbull, Conn. She was an x-ray technician and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest C.; and a daughter, Darlene Mary Davis of San Jose, Calif.

June Carter Kafer, 93, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001 at her home.
She was born in Vienna, Ill., and moved to this area 16 years ago from Jacksonville. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Morin of Timber Pines; a niece, Barbara Fredrickson, and a nephew, Chuck Fredrickson, both of Charlotte, N.C.; several great-nieces and nephews.

Major Hundley "Ty" Tyrone, 55, of Hernando Beach, died Friday, March 22, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center, Brooksville. Born in Richmond, Va., he moved to this area five years ago from Tampa. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Germany and Vietnam; president of the Spring Hill Chesapeake Bay Club; a member of the Hernando Beach Business Association; and a member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Charlotte, N.C. He is survived by his wife, Marie S. Austin-Tyrone; a son, David Austin of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; four daughters, Lucinda of Toano, Va., Tammy M. of Willow Grove, Pa., Diane of Coconut Grove and Terry of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; his father, Major M. of Mt. Olive, Miss; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Arrangements by Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill.

Kenneth Phillip Curry
Kenneth Phillip Curry, 52, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001 at home.
He was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area from the Bronx, N.Y. He was an independent contractor in construction, served as a corporal in the U.S. Marines and was a member of Brooksville Assembly of God.
Survivors include a son, Letroy Edward Hinton of Woodland Hills, Calif.; two daughters, Stacey Reed and Jenell, both of Pensacola; three brothers, Charles of the Bronx, Douglas of Rochester, N.Y., and Keith C. of Jersey City, N.J.; three sisters, Victoria Jones of Queens, N.Y., Karyn of the Bronx and Dorian E. of Hempstead, Long Island, N.Y.; his mother Ada of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren.

Stewart J. Abramowicz, 12, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001 at All Children's Hospital, St. Petersburg.
