Peter R. Melko, 79, of Spring Hill died Sunday, March 14, 2004 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in Brooksville.
Born in Pennsylvania, he moved here 19 years ago from Lindenhurst, N.Y.
He was New York Grand Union Supermarket manager for 25 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include his sons, Peter R. Melko, Jr. of Lindenhurst, N.Y. and Paul Melko of Spring Hill; daughters Pam Alfano of Spring Hill and Louise Capozzi of Spring Hill; 11 grandchildren; nine grandchildren.

Herman H. Kuklinsky, 83, of Spring Hill died Friday, March 12, 2004 at the Brooksville Hospice Care Unit.
Born in New York City, he came here 20 years ago from West Haven, Conn.
He was a television technician for Herman's Television in West Haven, Conn., a World War II U.S. Army and Air Force veteran and a member of American Legion Post 99.
He was a member of the New Haven Federation of Musicians, played bass fiddle professionally for over 50 years and also played the organ to accompany his wife with the Spring Hill Music Club Chorus and also at Temple Beth David where he was a member.
Survivors include his wife, Selma; son, S. Mark Kulinsky of Kailua, Hawaii; a daughter, Loretta Paraguassu of Alpharetta, Ga., and three grandchildren.

Richard N. Kollath, 44, of Brooksville died, Saturday, March 13, 2004 at the Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. Born in Queens, N.Y. he moved to this area 10 years ago from New York. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States on his motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle, of Brooksville.

Loraine D. Holt, 92, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, March 14, 2004 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice House in Brooksville. Born in Valley View, Ken., she moved to this area 27 years ago from Waycross Ga. She was a homemaker, a member of the Elks Lodge #2582 in Brooksville, a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Vern E. Holt, son William I. Holt; a son William I. Holt; and a daughter Valerie E. Holt, all of Spring Hill; a brother Edgar Dunn, Cincinnati, Ohio: five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Hildred E. Stone, 89, of Brooksville, died Saturday, March 13, 2004 at her home. Born in Rochester, Mich., she came to this area 31 years ago from Algonac, Mich. She was the former owner/operator of Algonac Industries Tool & Die Co., a volunteer for the VFW and James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa. She was a Christian by faith.
Survivors include two daughter, Vicki Carpenter of Brooksville, Helen Stone of Hudson; one brother, James Wright of Brooksville; one sister, Viva Chesney of Pinellas Park; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Daisy Christina DeSevilla, 89, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001 at Forest Oaks Care Center, Spring Hill.
She was born in England and moved to this 21 years ago from Puerto Rico. She was a homemaker and a Presbyterian by faith.
Survivors include a son, Alferd of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Elaine Scaccianoce of Spring Hill; a sister, Wenna Nixon of Meadowlands, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Joseph Merlino, 92, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001 at Spring HIll Regional Hospital.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 11 years ago from Brooklyn. He was an active member of Happy Hearts Club and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian; a daughter, Maria Patton of Spring Hill; and two grandchildren.

Ann Vodilla, 80, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001 at home.
She was born in Wallington, N.J., and moved to this area 18 years ago from Wayne, N.J. She retired as an accounting clerk with Shop-Rite Supermarket and was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Aladar; a daughter, Alice Ann Zane of Andover, N.J.; and two sisters, Margaret Kooch of Clifton, N.J., and Mary Semeraro of Garfield, N.J.

George J. Seaholm, 86, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001 at Tangerine Cove, Brooksville.
He moved to this area 18 years ago from his native Jamestown, N.Y. He was a retired construction carpenter, a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, and a member of the Viking Swedish Society, Moose Lodge, CarpenterÕs Union, and Mariner United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Priscilla Brogdon of Toano, Va.; a stepson, William S. Wiquist, Jr. of Pomfret, Conn.; and four grandchildren.

He was a native of Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 15 years ago from Largo, Fla. He was a retired photoengraver for the Chicago Tribune.
Survivors include his wife, Irene; two sons, David L. of Lindenhurst, Ill., and Eric J. of Wheeling, Ill.; a daughter, Judith Mattila of Orlando; a brother, Robert of Huntley, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.

He retired from U.S. Steel Southworks, Chicago, as a production planner after 33 years, was a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps communications engineer veteran, past commander of Disabled American Veterans, Chicago, past member of the VFW, Chicago, and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; two sons, John of Spring Hill and Dennis of Henniker, N.H.; a daughter, Mary Diane Cox of Defuniak Springs, Fla.; a sister, Virginia Peppers of Chicago; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; a stepson, Glenn Tkatch of Orlando; three stepdaughters, Cindy Brown of Brooksville, Pamela Gears of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jeanni Crosby of Moss Point, Miss.; nine stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

Walter Komlosy, 85, of Brooksville, died Friday, March 7, 2003 at his home.
He was born in Bronx, N.Y., and moved to this area 10 years ago from Susquehanna, Pa. He was a retired U.S. Postal Clerk.
Survivors include a son, David of Stuart; a daughter, Marilyn-Sue Walsh of Brooksville; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was a retired middle school counselor for the Redwood City School District, past president of the Redwood City School District Teachers Union, held two master's degrees in child and family counseling, and was a Catholic by faith.
She is survived by a friend, Eileen Kapavik of Brooksville.

He was an electrical engineer for Hilton Hotels for many years and retired as an independent consultant in importing and exporting. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, having served during peacetime, and was a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include a son, Paul of Hull, Mass.; two daughters, Patricia Carreiro of Brooksville and Bonnie Smith of Farmington, Conn.; two brothers, L.F. of Escondido, Calif., and John of Palestine, Texas; a sister, Norma Henly of Wells Point, Texas; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
