Donata Aiello, 84, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She moved to this area four years ago from her native Staten Island, N.Y. She was a homemaker, a former member of St. Michael Sacred Heart Society, Staten Island, and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Philip C.; a son, George N. of Spring Hill; a brother Paul Daloio of New Jersey; three sisters, Susan Cannella, Lena Gustinik and Rose Pipitone, all of Staten Island; and two granddaughters, Dina Marie Porubsky and Theresa L. Aiello.

Pearl "Jackie" Olsen, 89, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 23 years ago. She was a retired private education teacher, past Worthy Matron of the Maywood Chapter 533, Maywood, Ill., past High Priestess of Nefertiti Ladies Oriental Shrine 84, New Port Richey, past Royal Matron of Aloha Court 71, and past Royal Matron of Brooksville OES 76, and a Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Sharon Brady of Edwardsburg, Mich., Mark of Vandalia, Mich., and Erick of Chicago; and five great-grandchildren.

Gordon J. Ludwig, 72, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Saturday, April 27, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Flushing, N.Y., and moved to this area 17 years ago. He was retired from American Airlines after 35 years of service and had been a "Gerber Baby." He served many years as an EMT in Flushing, was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran and volunteered with the Hernando County Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hudson.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; two sons, Michael of Little Neck, N.Y., and Dennis; a stepson, Stephen Collins of Westport, Mass.; three stepdaughters, Cathy Tucker of Danvers, Mass., Laurie Vinal of Abington, Mass., and Dana Gerlach of Canton, Ga.; a sister, Anne Stenger of Sea Cliff, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren.

She was born in New Castle, Pa., and moved to this area six years ago from Youngstown, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Mariann Eckman of Spring Hill and Carol Maruskin of South Pasadena, Fla.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Beverly A. Cova, 69, of Spring Hill, died Monday, April 29, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Leo; a brother, Clinton Wright of Newport, Mich.; and a sister, Roberta Petty of Garden City, Mich.

Morgan L. Jones, 86, of Aberdeen, Md., formerly of Brooksville, died Saturday, April 27, 2002 at the VA Medical Center, Perry Pointe, Md. He moved to Maryland three years ago from Brooksville. He was a retired guidance counselor of Harford County Public Schools, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Masonic Lodge in Maryland, and a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Clark of Royal Highlands, Brooksville; a stepdaughter, Kathleen Carter of Tacoma, Wash.; a niece, Audrey Brown of Aberdeen; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Eva Sherriff, 72, of Spring Hill, died Monday, April 29, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Bronx, N.Y., and moved to this area 19 years ago from St. James, Long Island, N.Y. She worked for Suffolk County Schools as a crossing guard and as an off-track betting agent until moving to Florida to retire with her husband. She was a former member of Ed Salmon Florida String Band as a strutter and a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Jack; a son, Daniel of St. James; a daughter, Linda of Peterborough, N.Y.; a brother, Marco Delgado of Spring Hill; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

He was born in Belleville, Ill., and moved to this area 35 years ago from Livonia, Mich. He was a plumber, a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of the Masonic Lodge, Detroit, Mich., and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Hilda; two sons, Howard Jr. of Brooksville and Jerry of Moncko Corner, S.C.; a daughter, Barbara Ridling of Marietta, Ga.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was born in Gustine, Texas, and moved to this area 20 years ago from Palm Harbor. She was a homemaker and attended First United Methodist Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; a son, Randy of Alexander, Va.; a daughter, Sherry Eldred of Ocklawaha, Fla.; a brother, Tommy Trimble of Brownwood, Texas; and four grandchildren.

Gideon F. Thompson, 73, of Spring Hill, died Friday, April 26, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was a native of Depew, Okla., and a resident of this area and a seasonal resident of St. Petersburg for the past seven years coming from Mission Hills, Calif. He was a retired tech sergeant, a photographer for the Air Force, and a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Joan; a son, Owen of Spring Hill; and a granddaughter.

Floyd J. Beckwith, 68, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001 at his home.
He was born in Housatonic, Mass., and moved to this area 16 years ago from Great Barrington, Mass. He was a Vietnam War U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired from the Air Force after 21 years and was awarded the Bronze Star for his actions during the war. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill, and Spring Hill Archery Club and was an instructor for same. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Jane; three daughters, Floydette Nesti of Pittsfield, Mass., Virginia Bentley of Homosassa, and Mary Jane Harris of Bushnell; four brothers, Paul of New Hampshire, and Ernest, Lawrence and Phillip, all of Great Barrington, and two sisters, Christine Touponce of Arizona and Joan Crerar of Lee, Mass.

William R. Wilkinson, 83, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital
He was born in Queens, N.Y., and moved to this area 14 years ago from Queens. He retired from Japan Airlines and was a member of Cornucopia 563 Masons, New York.
Survivors include his companion, Dorothea Honings; and two sisters, Mable Lempicky and Grace OÕConnor of Queens.

Shirley C. Adams, 78, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 24 years ago from Niles, Ill. She was a member of Senior Crafts Club of Hernando County and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel V.; a son, Dan V., Jr. of Vernon Hills, Ill.; a daughter, Judy ÔChickÕ Burgmeier of Chicago; a sister, Jackline Adamkiewicz of Des Plaines, Ill.; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Beryl Jack Blake, 79, of Brookridge, Brooksville, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Brooksville.
He was a native of Harris Ferry, W.Va., and moved to this area 21 years ago from Carmel, Ind. He was the retired owner and president of Economy Elevator Enterprises Inc., a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, past commander VFW Post, Carmel, life member of VFW Post 10209, Spring Hill, and a member of Mariner United Methodist Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Jean; two daughters, Vickie Ann Jordan of Carmel and Diana Kay Frush of Westfield, Ind.; a son, Jack D. of Brooksville; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Nora S. Caputo, 90, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Brooksville.
She was born in Englewood, N.J., and moved to this area 28 years ago from Spring Valley, N.Y. She was a telephone supervisor for East Ramapo School District, Spring Valley, district grand deputy of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rockland Orange District, Spring Valley, and a member of C.S.E.A. of New York, St. Theresa Catholic Church and Happy Hearts of St. Theresa, Spring Hill.
Survivors include three sons, Thomas Thornton of Covington, Ky., Frank Thornton of Highland Mills, N.Y., and Fred Thornton of Ogdensburg, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Charles C. Bigler, 69, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 8 2001.
He moved to this area seven years ago from his native Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a cemetery grounds foreman, a Korean War U.S. Army veteran and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Noreen Sphikas of Spring Hill; two stepdaughters, Joan Young of Monmouth, N.J., and Kathleen Ghiraldi of Spring Hill; and five grandchildren.

Helen E. Cowhig, 88, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001 at her home.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis of Los Angeles and Brian of Spring Hill; a sister, Josephine Francis of Staten Island; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Stephen P. Clark, 55, of Weeki Wachee, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio, and moved to this area seven years ago from Clearwater. He worked for Schmitt Inc. and retired from the Boy Scouts of America. He was a Vietnam War U.S. Navy veteran, manager of the Sand Hill Scout Reservation, a member of Wiscon Moose Lodge, and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Diane; six sons, Jason Stephen, Joshua Aaron, Jonathan Ernest, Jeffrey Alvin, James Martin, and Jerry Alan, all of Weeki Wachee, a brother, David Michael of New Port Richey; and his mother and father, Don and Esther of New Port Richey.

Antoinette "Toni" Bruno Best, 71, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was the owner of Bruno Bakery, Greenwich Village, New York City, and the Sweet Tooth Café, Spring Hill. She was the founder of the Stage West Children's Theater, vice president of the Stage West Board of Directors, and directed numerous Stage West productions.
Survivors include three daughters, Melinda Bruno and Patricia Bruno, both of Boston, Mass., and Lu-Ann Bruno of Tampa; a son, Franc Bruno of Brooklyn; a sister, Ann Mauro of Weeki Wachee; three stepchildren, Dr. Julia Chase of Tampa, Dr. Kris Best of New York and Kai Best of North Carolina; and five grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, James of Spring Lake; two daughters, Betty McGlashen of Spring Lake and Carrie of Brooksville; a brother, James Ferrell of Spring Lake; two sisters, Jackie Finley of Spring Lake and Vera Shelko of Ocala; six granddaughters; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
