She came here 22 years ago from her native Detroit, Mich. She was a retired loan officer and attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
Survivors include her sons, David of Sterling Heights, Mich., Paul of Anthem, Mich., Matthew of St. Helen, Mich. and Anthony of Spring Hill; daughters, Carol Varney of Warren, Mich., Janice Popovich of Granger, Mich., Claudia Hardey of Center Line, Mich., and Andrea of Spring Hill; brothers, Joseph Waligore of Spring Hill and Edward Waligore of White Lake, Mich.; sister, Frances Cisco of Mt. Richard "Jr." Ewing, 54, of Brooksville died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Sharon Hills, Pa., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Philadelphia, Pa. He was a truck driver, a motorcycle enthusiast, and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his common law companion, Doris Harris; two sons, Anthony Mundell of Clearwater and Samuel of Brooksville; a daughter, Lori of Edgewater, Fla.; seven brothers, Robert Mundell of Dover, Del., Charles of Delaware, Steven Mundell of Birdsboro, Pa., Dennis of Tennessee, George Jr. and Bobby Mundell, both of Philadelphia, and Kevin Mundell of Edgewater; four sisters, Penny Hicks and Carol, both of Reading, Pa., and Barbara Bailey and Sue Remley, both of New Jersey; and three grandchildren.

She was born in Holyoke, Mass., and moved to this area 27 years ago from Hancock, N.Y. She was retired.

Marion C. Crawford, 92, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He was born in Memphis, Tenn., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Chicago, Ill. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Fern; three sons, Robert of Camden, N.J., Donald of Lombard, Ill., and John of Chicago; three daughters, Barbara Hartman and Nancy Shipp, both of Spring Hill, and Janet Ciardullo of Elmhurst, Ill.; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Eugene "Gene" W. Winget, 71, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Hudson.
He was born in Hartford City, Ind., and moved to this area seven months ago from Orange Springs, Fla. He retired as a laboratory technician from General Electric Neutron Plant, for the U.S. Department of Energy in Clearwater after 20 years of service, was a Korean conflict U.S. Army veteran, former member and marksman of the G.E. Rifle Club of Clearwater, and a Christian by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Batsel Winget of Orange Springs; a son, Steven E. of Oldsmar, Fla.; a daughter, Gaynelle M. Abtey of Spring Hill; a sister, Lorraine Ortega of California; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Elinor B. Williams, 81, of Brooksville died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002 at her home.
She was born in East Hartford, Conn., and moved to this area four years ago from Edgewater, Conn. She was a retired machine operator for Stanadyne Corp., Windsor, Conn., after 20 years of service. She was Connecticut State Archery Champion, New England Archery Champion, placed second twice at the National Archery Championships, and was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include three sons, George Swanson, Dale Swanson of East Hartford and Arthur Swanson of Vernon, Conn.; three daughters, April Warren of Vernon, Carol Bramande of Spring Hill, and Lorayne Doubleday of Peoria, Ill.; a sister, Jeannette Probst of California; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

John "Jack" Walk, 80, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Millville, N.J., and moved to this area eight years ago from Washington, N.C. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a captain in the National Guard, a member of the Elks Lodge, Brooksville, and a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannette; a daughter, Janice of St. Petersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joseph "Joe" C. Niemiec, 85, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002 at Tandem Healthcare, Bayonet Point, Hudson.
He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and moved to this area 19 years ago from Grand Island, N.Y. He retired from Westinghouse Electric, was a World War II Merchant Marine veteran, attended St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill, and was a member of Knights of Columbus, Buffalo, and Timber Pines Men's Golf Club. He was a club champion at Timber Pines Golf Course, Audubon Golf Course, N.Y., and Delaware Golf Course, Buffalo. He made 10 hole-in-ones throughout his golfing career.
Survivors include his wife, Anne; a sister, Adele Peszko of Kenmore, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

Adam G. Haybach, 84, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Brooksville.
He moved to this area 16 years ago from Silver Lake, N.H. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and retired after 35 years with the Department of Defense. He was a member of American Legion Post 95, Elks Lodge 2055, NARFE and AARP.
Survivors include his wife, Olga; a son, Adam Jr. of Marshall, Mich.; a daughter, Georganne deWalder of Morrisville, N.C.; two sisters, Katherine Lohmar of Seminole and Eva Bailey of Pinellas Park; a brother, David of Pinellas Park; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Morris E. Nunley Jr., 75, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Dry Branch, W.Va., and moved to this area 24 years ago from Charleston, W.Va. He was retired from Libbey-Owens Ford Sheet Glass and was Wesleyan by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia; a daughter, Pauletta Fouty of Tad, W.Va.; a brother, William Earl of Alton, Ill.; four sisters, Nola Thomas of Tennessee, Lucille Jenkins, Virginia Darnell and Kathryn Rose, all of Charleston; and a granddaughter.

Maurice P. Fitzgerald, 68, of Brooksville, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was a native of Bronx, N.Y., and moved to this area three years ago from Matawan, N.J. He was a retired vice president in commodity exchange.
He is survived by two sons, Richard M. of Brooksville and Maurice of Fort Worth, Texas.

Malcolm McCaull, 87, of Brooksville, died Friday, May 24, 2002 at Baldomero Lopez State Veterans Home, Land O' Lakes. Born in Montreal, Canada, he moved to this area 22 years ago from Hawthorne, N.J. He was a retired machine operator; a U.S. Army veteran; a life member of VFW Post 10209, Spring Hill; and a Protestant. He is survived by his wife, Mary; a sister, Agnes O'Day of Brooksville; and two granddaughters, Laurie Lewis of Chantilly, Va., and Judy Geelhold of San Antonio, Texas. Melvin Edward Baker, 71, of Brooksville, died Monday, May 20, 2002 at Heartland of Brooksville. Born in Highland Park, Mich., he moved to this area 20 years ago from California. He enjoyed going to the library, biking and nature. He is survived by two daughters, Ellen of Richmond, Calif., and Carol of Delta, Calif.; a son, Paul of Oakdale, Calif.; and a sister, Ann Vanfossen of Apopka. Anthony J. "Tony" Grossi, 75, of Spring Hill, died Friday, April 23, 2004, at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 13 years ago from Tucson, Ariz. He was a former owner/operator of an auto service center in Long Island, N.Y., and was an active member of First Assembly of God, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Laura; two sons, Rev. Joseph of Tucson and Rev. John of Spring Hill; five daughters, Annie Steen of Spring Hill, Rev. Joni Bowman of Tucson, Gloria Burlingham of Joshua, Texas, Angela Roberts of Broomfield, Colo., and Lorraine Brown of Tucson; a sister, Betty Criscuolo of Warren, Pa.; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Easter Mae Pahl, 73, of Brooksville, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at her home.
She was born in Mount Gay, W.Va., and moved to this area 46 years ago from Logan, W.Va. She was a licensed minister for the Church of God and an ordained minister of Pentecostal Church of God. She was past president of Ladies Ministries, sang and shared the Gospel, taught Sunday school and was a member of Full Gospel Assembly, Spring Hill.
Survivors include two daughters, Drema Walker of Brooksville and Sandy Jackson of Brandon; a son, Ted of Tampa; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

William David Rinehart, 79, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Hudson.
He was born in Mansfield, Ohio, and moved to this area 12 years ago from Oakton, Va. He was retired from the newspaper industry as an international technology consultant for American Newspaper Publisher Association. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a member of Solomon's Masonic Lodge, New Jersey, a life member of DAV 67, Brooksville, and the 94th Infantry Association and was a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include two sons, David Rinehart of Orlando and Richard Rinehart of Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters, Cathleen Rinehart of Redlands, Calif., and Elizabeth Rinehart of Cape Coral; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

George W. Minard III, 86, of Brooksville, died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area 26 years ago from Pompton Plains, N.J. He was a retired bank president for Columbia Savings, New Jersey. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a volunteer at Oak Hill Hospital, performed volunteer tax work with AARP and was a volunteer tutor. He attended First United Methodist Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include a son, George W. Minard IV of Evergreen, Colo.; a daughter, Catherine Rines of Elkton, Fla.; and a granddaughter.

Dolores Monthalvo, 69, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002 at her home. Born in New York, N.Y., she moved to this area nine years ago from Northport, Long Island, N.Y. She was a member of the Latin American and Italian clubs; attended the Columbia American Club; and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Betty S. Darby, 75, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002 at Brooksville Regional Hospital. Born in Brooksville, she was a retired telephone operator for Southern Bell after 29 years; was a member of the Pioneers Club; and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church of Brooksville. She is survived by her husband, Thomas; four sons, Thomas A. Jr. of Inverness, John, Michael Joseph and Patrick Railey, all of Brooksville; a daughter, Elizabeth Jane Edwards of Perry; a sister, Rhoda Moneyham of Brooksville; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Lester J. Aaron, 95, of Brooksville, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2002 at Hospice Care Center of Brooksville. Born in Milford, Ill., he moved to this area 32 years ago from Logansport, Ind. He was retired from Nickel Railroad and a member of the Northside Church of Christ, Brooksville. He is survived by three sons, Lester of Frankfort, Ind., Richard of Mountainview, Ark., and Larry of Englewood; three daughters, Lois of New Braunfels, Texas, Dorothy of Bronson and Connie of Brooksville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Andrew F. Remiszewski, 70, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002 at home.
He was born in New Haven, Conn., and moved to this area nine years ago from Orlando, where he had lived since 1970. He was a retired casualty underwriting manager with Kemper Insurance, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Norma; two daughters, Denise Davis of Orlando and Kristine Fahrubel of Brooksville; three sisters, Viola Zaorski of Connecticut, Agnes Tosetti of Lady Lake, and Helen Steele of New Hampshire; and two grandchildren.

James Kenneth Knight, 66, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He moved to this area 51 years ago from his native Lake Butler, Fla. He was the owner of Knight Hauling Trucking Company, a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of First Baptist Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice; a son, James Scott of Brooksville; two daughters, Louise Knight Kidd and Amanda Knight Over, both of Brooksville; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Nance of Boise, Idaho, and Eugenie Hessler-Hale of East Wakefield, N.H.; a brother, John Mazurek of Smock, Pa.; two sisters, Irene Piscarczyk and Christine Suhy, both of Ohio; and three grandchildren.
