Joseph W. Wright, 60, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002 at his home.
He was born in Indianapolis, Ind., and moved to this area 19 years ago from Indianapolis. He was retired.
Survivors include his wife, Joann; five sons, Joseph Jr., Jimmy, Daniel, and Kevin, all of Indianapolis, and Dustin of Brooksville; three daughters, Patricia Kennedy of Indianapolis, and Patricia Murphy and Tracey Medina, both of Brooksville; several brothers and sisters; and 19 grandchildren.

Lamont J. Jenkins, 67, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Belair, Ohio, and moved to this area two years ago from Muskego, Wis. He was a retired vice president of operations for Seimens Power Corp. and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Amelia J.; three sons, Lamont J. Jr. of Greensburg, Pa., Mark R. of Beloit, Wis., and Paul D. of Plano, Texas; three daughters, Judy L. Rosatti of Greensburg, Joni J. Gigliotti of Plano, Texas, and Cathy J. Ellis of Beloit; a sister, Myrna Iosue of Auburndale, Fla.; and 12 grandchildren.

LaVerne M. Mills, 79, of High Point, Brooksville, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She moved to this area 16 years ago from her native Cincinnati, Ohio. She was retired from the Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper, a member of the High Point Golf Club & Ladies Golf, league volunteer at Oak Hill Hospital for seven years, and a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Jr.; two sons, Ronald of San Diego, Calif., and Daniel of Austria; a daughter, Dr. Shoshana Zimmerman of Los Altos, Calif.; a sister, Marjorie Bechtol of Cincinnati; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

George J. Long, 79, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Logansport, Ind., and moved to this area 19 years ago from Indianapolis, Ind. He was a retired builder/Realtor, a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran, past president of High Point Golf Association, Brooksville, and Community Property Association, Brooksville, and a member of Florida Department of Professional Regulation in Speech and Language Pathology, Masonic Lodge, Peru, Ind., Shriners and Elks lodges, and Mariner United Methodist Church, Spring Hill.

Albert Martincic, 87, of Sarasota, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002.
He was born in Rankin, Pa., and moved to Sarasota 17 years ago from Braddock, Pa. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Company, Rankin, after 40 years of service. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and attended St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Billie Jean Prichard of Spring Hill and Joy Yeager of Sarasota; a son, Ronald G. of Monroeville, Pa.; a sister, Josephine of Swissvale, Pa.; a brother, Edward of Las Vegas, Nev.; and five great-grandchildren.

Harry Alden, "Harry the Chef" Ferris, 87, of Spring Hill, died Sunday Jan. 4, 2004 under the care of his family and Hernando-Pasco Hospice. Born in Pittsfield, Mass., he came to this area 14 years ago from New York. He was a hotel restaurant chef; a United States Army veteran and attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Edith; a daughter Kim of Spring Hill; two brothers Maurice Noujaim of Orlando and George Noujaim of Texas; a sister Nagette of Orlando and two grandchildren.

Louise F. Mirkes, 100, of Brooksville, died Monday, Jan. 12 2004 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. Born in Oconto Falls, Wisc., she came here 16 years ago from Shawano, Wisc.
She was a homemaker, held office in the Christian Mothers and Shawano Women's Club, was an avid bridge player, followed professional football, enjoyed crossword puzzles and word jumbles, and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son Lawrence H. of Woodland Hills, Calif. and a sister Eleanor Dunn of Pa.

Beatrice E. Blaney, 86, of Spring Hill died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004 at home. Born in Nashua, N.H., she came to this area 25 years ago from Hollis N.H.
She was a retired licensed nurse practitioner, past member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Baptist by faith.
She is survived by her husband John F.; one son Robert A. Monroe of Trophy Club, Texas; two daughters, Nancy Sweeton of Enfield, Conn. and Ruthann Mangan of Auburn, Me.; one brother, Robert Smith of Hudson, N.H.; and 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Charlotte M. Drawbond, 79 of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 at her residence. Born is Philadelphia, she came to this area 21 years ago.
She was a homemaker and a United States Army Veteran. She was a member of Women's Army Corp and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Domanico of Philadelphia and Charlotte Drawbond of Port Richey; one brother, George Dailey of Pa.; two sisters Anna May Arnold of Pa. and Ann Howard of Punta Gorda; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

James Richard Janosko, 94, of Brooksville died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004 at Hernando Pasco Hospice. Born in New York City, he moved to this area in 7 years ago from Barnegat, N.J.
He was a retired business owner, a United States Army Veteran, a member of the Moose Lodge and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his companion Ursula; a stepson, Chuck Obeid; a stepdaughter, Denise Obeid; and one grandchild all of Brooksville; a sister Betty Mulligan of Bricktown, N.J. and several nephews.

Hildegarde S. Parks, 86, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 at the Forest Oaks Care Center in Spring Hill. Born in Amsterdam, N.Y. she came to this area 28 years ago from Schenectady N.Y.
She retired after 22 years with GE as a handbook assembler, and was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Spring Hill.
She is survived by three sons, K. William of Tulsa, Okla., Lawrence E. Jr. of Saratoga Lake, N.Y. and Ronald W. of Spring Hill; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Robert H. Potter, III, 49, of Masaryktown died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital. Born in Portsmouth, Va. he came here 10 years ago from Lititz, Pa.
He was a caregiver, a member of the National Rifle Association, Theta Chi Fraternity of the University of Florida and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Karenlee Graver Potter of Tremont, Pa.; a son Robert William Potter of Tremont, Pa.; three daughters, Lauren Potter of Tremont, Pa., Maribeth Gantt of Masaryktown, and Jenna Potter of Tremont, Pa.; his mother, June Potter of Masaryktown; a brother, John David Potter of Little Rock, Ark.; 2 sisters, Sandy Potter of Live Oak and Glenda Vazquez of Masaryktown; and six grandchildren.

Ivan M. Wheeler, 93, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004 at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville.
Born in Mattawan, Mich. he came to this area 27 years ago from Kalamazoo, Mich.
He was a retired judge, a World War II United States Army Veteran, a member of the Brookridge Community, the Brookridge Golf Associatioin and the Brooksville Bridge Club.
He is survived by two sons, Kippert R. of Aspen Colo. and Stephen M., of Evergreen, Colo.

Kristopher Mickie Ennis, 11 months, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004 at his home. Born in Sterling, Ill. he came here 3 months ago from Sterling.
He is survived by his mother, Stephanie and her fiancé Jeff of Ridge Manor; one brother, Kyle and two sisters, Katie and Karrissa all of Ridge Manor. Grandparents, Barbara and Thomas Loos of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Kevin and Margaret Gilroy of Ridge Manor.

Edward A. Crompton, 69 of Zephyrhills, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004 at East Pasco Medical Center of Zephyrhills. Born in Camden N.J. he came to Zephyrhills 7 years ago from Largo.
He was an Insurance Agent, a United States Army Veteran, a member of the VFW Post of Zephyrhills and an Episcopal by faith.
He is survived by his companion, Odievell Patrick of Zephyrhills,; a son, Edward A. Compton III, of Schwenksville, Pa.; two daughters, Holly Crompton-Breidor of Perkiomenville, Pa., and Beverly Jean Berry of Chester, Va.; a brother Thomas Crompton of Audubon, Pa.; two sisters Florence Adler of Shamong, N.J. and Evelyn McClean of Allen Texas; and six grandchildren.

Doris M. Walsh, 50, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004 at Regional Medical Center of Bayonet Point, Hudson. She was born in Luicklean, N.Y. and came here 1999 from Waterbury, Conn. She is survived by her husband of 7 years, John J. of Brooksville; daughters, Judith Hanscome and Kristal Sarmento, both of West Haven, Conn.; mother, Myrtle Brown of High Point; sister, Judith Brown of Brooksville; brothers, Donald Brown, Robert Brown and Dennis Brown all of Milford, Timothy Brown and his wife Diane of Orange, Conn., and Steven Brown of Naugatuck, Conn.; and four granddaughters.

Ellie Beech, 64, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 at her home. She was born in Toronto and came here four years ago from Gravenhurst, Ontario and 1 1/2 years to Timber Pines. She is survived by her husband, Wally of Timber Pines; daughters, Beverley, Sharon and Lynn; sister, Betty; brother, Garry; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Jane C. Housel, 79, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Newark, N.J., and moved to this area 20 years ago from Rahway, N.J. She was a retired secretary and a member of Hennessey VFW Post, Newark.
Survivors include two sons, Louis Jr. of Belmont, N.C., and Douglas R. of Spring Hill; a sister, Phyllis Vicinio of Mystic Island, N.J.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Joyce C. Brunk, 62, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002 at her home.
She was born in Aurora, Ind., and moved to this area two years ago from Pinellas Park. She was a retired business manager for REB Air Conditioning, Inc., Oldsmar, with 31 years of service, and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald E.; four sons, Thomas E. of Dade City, Victor E. of St. Petersburg, Rick E. of Pinellas Park, and Ronald E. of New Port Richey; a daughter, Rita J. of Port Richey; eight grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Rose M. Simpkins, 95, of Tampa, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002 at University Village Nursing Center.
She was born in Waycross, Ga., and formerly lived in Lake Lindsey, Ft. McCoy and lived in Tampa for the past 17 years. She was a homemaker, former member of Eden Baptist Church, and a member of Ft. McCoy Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, James of Tampa and Eddie of Brooksville; four daughters, Dorothy Grantham of Temple Terrace, Faye Kelley of Apopka, Fla., Jean Weatherford of Tampa and Barbara Clark of Brandon; 30 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren.

Doris Concklin, 73, of Cloverleaf, Brooksville, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002 at her home.
She moved to this area 22 years ago from her native Long Island, N.Y. She was a homemaker, a member of Women's Social Club, Farms Club, Organ and Music Club, and Home Owner's Association, all of Cloverleaf, and a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include her husband, George; two sons, Glen of Long Island, Rocky Point, N.Y., and Grant of Reno, Nev.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
