Norman Daigle, 68, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, May 8, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Fort Kent, Maine, and moved to this area 15 years ago from Oakville, Conn. He was a machinist, All Star Grand Commander of M.O.C., and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a son, Brian; two daughters, Norma Thibault and Priscilla Street; and two stepsons, Wade Cooper and Brent Richards.

Clarence "Gene" Deyarmin, 68, of Brooksville, died Thursday, May 9, 2002 at his home.
He was born in Cramer, Pa., and was a lifelong resident of Brooksville. He was a Corporal in the U.S. Army, an insurance agent, and a member of Lake Lindsey United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Edmond Black and Richard A. Black, both of Brooksville; two brothers, Albert Cloyd of Tampa and Cebert of Virginia; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Charlotte Marie Yost, 53, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, May 9, 2002 at her home.
She was a native of Fairmont, W.Va., and moved to this area two years ago from Stockholm, N.J. She was a Realtor in Franklin, New Jersey for 13 years and attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Michael; three daughters, Cynthia Irrera of Absecon, N.J., and Rachel and Christine, both of Spring Hill; her mother, Gerry Layman of Spring Hill; and two grandchildren.

Rose Helen Sandholm, 97, of Brooksville, died Thursday, May 9, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 26 years ago. She had moved to Brooksville 10 years ago from North Fort Myers, Fla. She was a member of the Brooklyn Park Historical Society and a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie Werfelmann of Brooksville; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Alexander Haeiwich, 76, of Spring Hill, died Friday, May 10, 2002 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Hudson.
He was born in Newburyport, Mass., and moved to this area 11 years ago from Camp Springs, Md. He was a retired civil engineer, a World War II U.S. Army and Navy veteran, and a member of the Elks Lodge, Brooksville, Chesapeake Club, Spring Hill, VFW, Spring Hill, and Grace Presbyterian Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Jean; two sons, Daniel of Chevy Chase, Md., and Samuel of Spring Hill; a daughter, Patricia Chase of Dunkirk, Md.; two brothers, Samuel of Warwick, R.I., and Kornstanty "Korny" of New Braunfels, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Victor P. Salajko, 82, of Brooksville, died Friday, May 10, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Brooksville.
He was born in Yugoslavia and moved to this area 16 years ago from Mineral Ridge, Ohio. He was a lifetime member of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary; two daughters, Paula Oldfather of Portland, Ore., and Kathleen Priest of North Royalton, Ohio; two brothers, John Gantar of McDonald, Ohio, and William Gantar; two sisters, Mitzi Hughes and Margaret Howell; and four grandchildren.

Claire Christine Price, 70, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, May 9, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Clintonville, W.Va., and moved to this area 21 years ago from Pennsylvania. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles; a son, Charles W. of Spring Hill; a daughter, Deborah Shuck of Spring Hill; a sister, Iva Myers of Palmyra, Pa.; two grandsons, a great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Howard Ellis Wiand, 85, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003 in Brooksville.
He was born in Greenville, Pa., and moved to this area 11 years ago from Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was a retired owner/operator of a trucking company and had worked for DOT as supervisor of legal actions.
He is survived by hs niece, Phyllis Byrne Reid of Montgomery Village, Md.

Henry Santiago, 43, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003 at his home.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 10 years ago from New York. He was a truck driver and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include two sons, Henry Jr. and Omar, both of Florida; his mother, Sylvia Vazquez of Spring Hill; a brother, Edwin of California; a sister, Evelyn Rodrigues of Long Island, N.Y.; and his grandmother, Esther Vazquez of Spring Hill.

Catherine E. Foster, MD., 76, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Hudson.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio, and moved to this area two years ago from Monroe, Ga. She graduated from the Women's Medical School, Philadelphia, Pa., and completed her internship and residency at Crawford W. Long Hospital, Atlanta, Ga. Her practices as an OB/GYN were in Decatur and Monroe until her retirement in 1984.

Rose M. Fabrizio, 88, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003 at Evergreen Woods Health Care Center, Spring Hill.
She was born in Union Bridge, Md., and moved to this area 28 years ago from New Jersey. She was a retail salesperson and a member of Spring Hill Senior Citizens Civic Club, Weeki Wachee Area Club and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Madeline Mann of Spring Hill and Marie Harris of Sicklerville, N.J.; a brother, Joseph Sirna of Cherry Hill, N.J.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Lessie H. Smith-Schwavonski, 75, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003 at her home.
She moved to this area 29 years ago from her native Tampa. She was an administrative secretary for Brooksville Realty and Lykes Memorial Hospital of Brooksville, a member of the Music Club, and formerly an organist for St. John's Episcopal Church and recently for Brooksville Church of the Nazarene, where she was a member.
Survivors include three daughters, Emmie Lesley Schwavonski of Brooksville, Nelia Jane Goff of Spring Hill and Jamie Lee Zamora of Brooksville; and two grandsons.

Tessie S. Grauer, 81, of Brooksville, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001 at her home under the care of Hospice and her family. Born in Westville, she moved to Brooksville in 1931. She was a homemaker, worked for many years for Standard Auto Parts in inventory control, attended Hernando High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Brooksville. She is survived by a brother, Ronnie W. Smith of Clinton, La.; and three sisters, Melvina S. Nation of Brooksville, Doris Arlene Hamby of Brooksville and Christine Smith Williams of Crystal River. Eleanor M. Gagnon, 96, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001 at her home. Born in Lake Linden, Mich., she moved to this area 34 years ago from Detroit, Mich. She was a self-employed seamstress for many years; moved from Detroit to Boynton Beach and later to the New Port Richey area; and was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill. She is survived by two daughters, Jean Hanes of Traverse City, Mich., and Kathleen Talbot of Spring Hill; a son, Thomas of Dearborn, Mich.; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Marie Lillian Mayette, 81, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001 at Heartland of Brooksville. Born in Ogdensburg, N.Y., she moved to this area eight years ago form Waddington, N.Y. She was a nurse's aid and a Catholic by faith. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth of Brooksville and Keith of Homosassa; three daughters, Donna L. Woodin of Brooksville, Nora Stoneall of Wingdale, N.Y. and Edna Morgan of Alabama; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Turner Funeral and Cremation Center, Spring Hill.

Gerald R. 'Jerry' Hintz, 67, of Glen Lakes, Brooksville, died Monday, July 9, 2001 at Shands Hospital, Gainesville.
He moved to this area 10 years ago from Glastonbury, Conn. He retired as senior executive with BarclaysAmerican/Business Credit and was a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Wisconsin Society of CPAs, Wisconsin State Board of Accountancy and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, C. Gloria; three daughters, Lynn M. Compton of Deering, N.H. and Susan L. March of Spring Hill; two sons, Paul H. of Portland, Conn., and David G. of Weymouth, Mass.; and nine grandchildren.

Lillian L. Nolan, 76, of Spring Hill, died Monday, July 9, 2001 at her home.
She was born in Boston, Mass., and moved to this area 12 years ago from Wolcott, Conn. She was a retired recreational therapist, World War II U.S. Army veteran, and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie and Patricia, both of Spring Hill.

Albert Edward Derra
Albert Edward Derra, 81, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, July 8, 2001 in Crystal River.
He was a native of Dane, Wis., and moved to this area six years ago from Pinellas Park. He was a retired assistant office manager for the State of Wisconsin and a retired machinist before leaving Pinellas Park, where he also served as an usher at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Roselina; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Carrico of Crystal River; three grandchildren, Ben, Brian and Rebecka, all of Crystal River; and several nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey; a son, Robert of Boulder, Colo.; a daughter, Audrey Dunn of San Francisco, Calif.; and a granddaughter, Natalie Dunn of San Francisco.

Jack B. Johnson
Jack B. Johnson, 74, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Hudson.
He was born in Newton, Iowa, and moved to this area 13 years ago from Dedham, Mass. He was retired, a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Spring Hill American Legion Post 186, and a Methodist by faith.
