Ronald Durbal, 77, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003 at his home.
He was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area 17 years ago from Dearborn, Mich. He was retired, a U.S. Army Air Force veteran, a member of Masonic Lodge, Detroit, and a Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Arline; a son, Mark of Dearborn Heights, Mich.; a daughter, Kathy Linehan of Whitmore Lake, Mich.; and three grandchildren.

R. Floyd Miller, 98, of Brooksville, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003 at Brooksville Health Care Center.
He was born in North Canaan, Conn., and moved to this area nine years ago from Lutz. He was a dairy farmer and attended North Canaan Congregational Church.
Survivors include two sons, James R. and Donald P., both of North Canaan; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Michael Mastandrea, 84, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Bari, Italy, and moved to this area five years ago from Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a construction contractor, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, and a member of the Brick Layers Union, Long Island, N.Y., and St. Theresa Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary G.; a son, Joseph of Peekskill, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Guy S. Davis, 65, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003.
He was born in Cape Charles, Va., and moved to this area from Vernon, N.J. He was a retired pressman for The New York Times.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta; five daughters, Irene Schwarz of New Town, Pa., Teresa Price of Newfoundland, N.J., Nadine Whitehead of Yardley, Pa., Janine Niemynski of Andover, N.J., and Gail of Wantage, N.J.; a brother, Nathaniel of Homosassa; four sisters, Florence Scalise of Frisco, Texas, Rose Dawson of Wellborn, Fla., Elizabeth Nims of Old Bridge, N.J., and Eve Barrett of Spring Hill; and seven grandchildren.

Carmine V. Ratto, 71, of Silverthorn, Brooksville, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area six years ago from Farmingdale, Long Island, N.Y. He was a retired paste-up technician for an advertising agency.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine; three sons, Carmine Jr. and Daniel, both of Farmingdale, and John of White Plains, N.Y.; two daughters, Francine Brooks of Brooksville and Martha Trachtulec of Brentwood, Long Island, N.Y.; three brothers, Ralph, Peter and Frank; three sisters, Elizabeth, Olivia and Antoinette; and three grandchildren.

Charles J. Jensen, 64, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, May 2, 2002 at the Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa.
He was born in Bronx, N.Y., and moved to this area five years ago from Pembroke, Mass. He was a retired owner and operator of Jensen Trucking, a U.S. Marines veteran, a member of St. Theclas, Pembroke, and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Lois; a son, Michael A. of Kingston, Mass.; a daughter, Cindy Murrey of Halifax, Mass.; and four grandchildren.

Mary M. Aldridge, 87, of Mc Alpin, died Thursday, May 2, 2002 at her home.
She was born in Paris, Texas, and moved to McAlpin from Brooksville 12 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Branford, Fla.
Survivors include her son, William ÒBillÓ of Mc Alpin; and three grandchildren.

Clyde C. Burdick Jr., 72, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at his home.
He was born in Okemah, Okla., and moved to this area 12 years ago from Brick, N.J. He retired from Fort Monmouth New Jersey Defense Department. He was a member of the American Legion, was a Kentucky Colonel, and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Maria; two sons, Clyde C. III of Virginia and James R. of Long Branch, N.J.; three daughters, Jeannie Kalis of Bensalem, Pa., Nikoletta Bernardo of Long Branch and Donna Burton of Brick; a sister, Dorothy of Oklahoma; and six grandchildren.

Angeline Mamone, 82, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Granger, Iowa, and moved to this area 20 years ago from Chicago. She was a homemaker and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph A.; two sons, Ronald and Steven; a daughter, Linda Piotrowski; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Doris Virginia Willis, 85, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Howard; two sons, Gary of Beaverton, Ore., and James of Livermore, Calif.; two daughters, Elaine Zablocki of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and Ruthanne of Twin Falls, Idaho; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Frank A. Thomas, 78, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001 at his home. He was born in Long Saskatchewan, Canada. He came here 12 years ago from Leonard, Mich.
He was a Christian and a member of the Brooksville Assembly of God Church. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of Capenters Union, Local 114.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Thomas of Brooksville and David Marchlewski of Pace, Fla.; and one daughter, Robin Thomas, of Brooksville; two sisters, Katherine Gregory of New Port Richey and Elizabeth Jewell of Louisiana; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Dorothy M. Bailey, 75, of Timber Pines in Spring Hill, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001.
She was born in York, Me., and came here 17 years ago from there.
She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. She was a retired dietician employed by the Board of Education. She also worked on the elections board of Hernando County.
She is survived by her husband, Everett of Timber Pines; two sons, Jack Chase of Navarre, Fla., and Jim Chase of Kodiak, Alaska; two stepdaughters, Ellen Hayden of York, Me., and Patricia Buckley of Baltimore, Md.; one stepson, Michael Buckley of Rye, N.H.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Ethel May Harvey, 87, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, John E.; three sons, Dr. John III of Naples, James of West Palm Beach, and Thomas of Fort Myers; seven grandchildren, John Michael, Pamela, Jason, Benjamin, Rebecca, Danielle, and Jaime; and two great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Colton.

Adele V. "Mickie" Wenzel, 80, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002 at a foster care home.
She was a retired secretary, a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include a son, Marcel Giroux of Ontario, Canada; a daughter, Patricia Young of Ontario; four brothers, John Vandelinder and Richard Vandelinder, both of Ontario, Jim Vandelinder of New Port Richey, and Leroy Vandelinder of Beverly Hills, Fla.; a sister, Bernice Gagnier of Ontario; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Perry A. Grose, 85, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002 at Tandam Health Care of Bayonet Point, Hudson.
He was born in Frostburg, Pa., and moved to this area 35 years ago from North Dakota. He was a retired electrical engineer in Pennsylvania and a member of Kiwanis of Spring Hill.
Survivors include a son, Gary of Canada; a daughter, Carol Koonts of Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren.

Frances Allen Malcolm, 84, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002 at her home.
She was born in Shelby, N.C., and moved to this area 22 years ago from Lenoir, N.C. She worked as a weaver at Lambeth Rope Corporation, Kings Mountain, N.C., and was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Pat Howard of Spring Hill and Rose Marie Ince of Ocala; a son, Jim III of Lenoir; a sister, Virginia Coley of Wilmington, N.C.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was born in Saginaw, Mich., and moved to this area 18 years ago from Dearborn, Mich. He was a retired insurance inspector, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of the Spring Hill Stroke Support Club and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church MenÕs Club and Sunshine Club.
Survivors include his sister, Mary F. Byczkowski of Spring Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Settie Hart, 85, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002, at Heartland of Brooksville.

She was a retired legal secretary, a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 76, Amaranth Past Royal Matron, and a member of Brooksville WomanÕs Club and Mariner United Methodist Church, where she was active in all church activities.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Edward of Brooksville and Herbert Workman of Minneapolis, Minn.; two daughters, Lana Huntwork of Tampa and Lana Marie Smith of Minnesota; two sisters, Genevieve M. Herbert of Royal Oak, Mich., and Helen V. Dusek of Saginaw; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
