Charles Livesey, 93, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Lancaster County, England, and moved to this area 10 years ago from Boothwyn, Pa. He retired from Sun Oil Company in Marcus Hook, Pa., after 35 years of service as an operator. He was a World War II U.S. Marine Corps veteran, a life member of VFW Post 9236, Hernando Beach, and Elks Lodge 224, Chester, Pa., and a member of American Legion Post 104, Pinellas Park, George Bartram and Paul Sand Masonic Lodge 298, Media, Pa., and Gulf Coast Homing Club, Shady Hills.
Survivors include two sons, Bruce Livesey of Pinellas Park and Raymond Livesey of Patton, Pa.; five grandchildren; and longtime companion, Creola Towns of Spring Hill.

Leroy Alltop, 77, of High Point, Brooksville, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003 at his home.
He was born in Willedgeville, Ohio, and moved to this area 30 years ago from Lakeview, Ohio. He was a retired service manager for a manufacturing company, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a member of VFW Post 6180 and American Legion Post 335, and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Viola; a son, Cary Lee Alltop of Lakeview; two daughters, Teresa Sue Alltop of Ohio and Joyce Duncan of Urbana, Ohio; two brothers, Edward R. Alltop of Brooksville and Leo Alltop of Homosassa Springs; two sisters, Mary Lou Milliron of Ohio and Carol Ann Rigby; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Eugene L. "Gene" Milliron, 91, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio, and moved to this area 29 years ago from Zanesville, Ohio. He was a member of the Lions Club in Florida and Ohio, the Strings and Strutters Band, Second Ohio Street Engineering Society, and First United Methodist Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include his wife, Dora; a son, Richard of Columbus, Ohio; and a brother, Marion W. Milliron of Chambersburg, Pa.

Richard O. Flora, 74, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Huntington, W.Va., and moved to this area seven years ago from Virginia Beach, Va. He was a retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer, having served in World War II, Korean conflict, and Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann; three sons, Matthew and Patrick, both of Spring Hill, and Richard O. of Chesapeake, Va.; two daughters, Catherine of Spring Hill and Janet Murphy of Coinjock, N.C.; a brother, Dan of Hampton, Va.; a sister, Debbie Cremmins of Huntington; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

William Zavadoski, 90, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in New York City and moved to this area 28 years ago from Greenpoint, Brooklyn, N.Y. He retired as an oil burner repairman with Petro Home Heating Corp. after 25 years of service and was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine; three sons, William of Connecticut, and Richard and Roger, both of Manassas, Va.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Phyllis P. Smither, 79, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at her daughterÕs home.

Julio S. Flores, 66, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and moved to this area two years ago from the Dominican Republic. He was a retired elevator operator for the Essex House and Lombardi, both of New York City; a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Arma; three brothers, Miguel of Brooklyn, N.Y., Rafael of Long Island, N.Y., and Fernando of Spring Hill; and a sister, Carmen Fiallo of Long Island.

He is survived by his two sisters, Kathleen Tridle and Irene Weeks, both of Spring Hill.

Survivors include two daughters, Adeline Yam-DeLella of Spring Hill and Regina Schmalfuss of Wilmington, N.C.; a son, Lester Yam of Eustis, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran with the military police, a former member of the Irish American Club, a former usher at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Spring Hill, and a member of VFW Post 9236, Hernando Beach, Alzheimer's Family Organization, and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.

Louise DeMarzo, 72, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 at her home.
She was born in Manhattan, N.Y., and moved to this area 15 years ago from Long Island, N.Y. She was a school crossing guard for Suffolk County Police Department, New York, operated a hot dog truck for 10 years in Suffolk County, and was a school bus driver for 11 years and a substitute teacher for two years. She was affiliated with the New York City Retired Police Officers 10-13 organization and attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Antonio; two sons, Felice of Islandia, N.Y., and Antonio of Melbourne; a daughter, Grace Mastrangelo of Hernando Beach; a sister, Norma Iglesias of Manhattan, N.Y.; a brother, Edward Iglesias of Spring Hill; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Carl S. of Vallego, Calif.; two sons, Dwight of Van, Texas, and Douglas of Vallego; two daughters, Debbie St. Claire of South Bend, Ind., and Kim Beiner of Fairfield, Calif.; two sisters, Florence Lenning of Spring Hill and Joan Ethlidge of Tipton, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was born in Bari, Italy, and moved to Sarasota two years ago from Spring Hill. She was a retired seamstress and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include three sons, Nicholas of Spring Hill, Armond of Sarasota, and Lucian of Franklin Square, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Donald E. Rexroth, 84, of Brooksville, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 at Forest Oaks Care Center, Spring Hill.
He moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1978 from Indiana and moved to this area a year ago from Tampa. He was a self-employed machine engineer and a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include two sons, Blair A. of Brooksville and Michael E. of Yorba Linda, Calif.; a daughter, Rebecca Hastings of Brooksville; and eight grandchildren.

Gladys A. Varn, 97, of Lakeland, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003 at Bartow Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Elmore, Minn., and moved to this area 84 years ago, before moving to the Winter Haven area 34 years ago. She was a homemaker, a 76-year member of the Eastern Star, a member of First Presbyterian Church, and a past president of the Lois Young Circle for many years.
Survivors include her daughter, Virginia Cox of Lakeland; two grandsons, Glen Michael Cox and Ryan William Cox of Lakeland; three great-grandchildren, Justin Cox, Sammi Cox, and Jennifer Cox, all of Lakeland; a nephew, David Aldrich of Colorado; a cousin, Thelma Hutchison of Tampa; and several nieces and nephews.

Donnell "Don" R. Jones, 78, of Weeki Wachee, died Thursday, April 15, 2004 at the Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Unit in Brooksville.
He was born in Royal Center, Ind. and moved to this area 13 years ago from West Palm Beach. He was a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Grace Jones of Weeki Wachee; son, Michael S. of Weeki Wachee; daughter, Marjorie A. Donkel of Raleigh, N.C.; and one grandchild.

Nancy Gunderson, 91, of Spring Hill, died Thursday April 22, 2004 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
She was born in Jacksonville, Ill., and moved to this area 34 years ago from New Berlin, Ill. where she retired as a high school teacher with over 30 years of service. She was an avid writer and was recently published in the Atria News at Evergreen Woods and other periodicals and newspapers. She was of Methodist faith.
She is survived by her son, John A. Thorson of Pompano Beach.

Carl E. Strawbridge, 76, of Spring Hill, died Friday, May 3, 2002 at his home.
He was born in Summerhill, Pa., and moved to this area from Springfield, Va. He was retired from the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C., as chief engineer. He attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Spring Hill, was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a member of ETO, PGK, Knights of Columbus 11317, 4th Degree Mason, Father Doughery Assembly 1721, St. Joan of Arc's Holy Name Men's Club, served on the Liturgy Committee, Eucharist Ministry, past chairman of the Ethnic Festival, Pastoral Council and Building Committee.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a son, Mark of Largo; eight daughters, Claudia Dietrich of Reston, Va., Cynthia Swanson of Renton, Wash., Mary Ann Solona of Leesburg, Va., Linda Citro of Palm Harbor, Diane Sanders and Michele Balzer, both of Centerville, Va., Barbara Crail of Woodbridge, Va., and Brenda Sparks of Alexandria, Va.; two brothers, Thomas and Paul; six sisters, Joan Seal, Myrna Eight, Gail Gouillard, Lynda Zuniga, Jean Atamina and Sara; 25 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
