She moved to this area 23 years ago from her native Chicago, Ill. She was a retired mortgage broker and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her son, John of Mercer, Wis.; a sister, Francie Erwinski of Chicago; and two grandchildren.

Sylvia Guarcello, 92, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at her home.
She was born in Ossining, N.Y., and moved to this area 16 years ago from Pompano Beach. She was a retired seamstress and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony; a son, George R. Surak of Spring Hill; two daughters, Gloria Palmietto of Fort Myers and Elaine Weir of Montrose, N.Y.; a stepson, Anthony Guarcello Jr. of Fort Lauderdale; three stepdaughters, Thyla Smith of Stanwood, Wash., and Concetta Lee Johnson and Gloria Jean Nordin, both of Boise, Idaho; a sister, Elizabeth Consorte of Spring Hill; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Janice Colleen Dube, 58, of Brooksville, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at Tampa General Hospital.

Noema C. Archuleta, 85, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at The Residence at Timber Pines, Spring Hill.
She was born in San Antonio, Texas, and moved to Florida 25 years ago from Dover, Del. She was a Registered Nurse and was employed by Pasco County Health Department. She was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Rubel V.; a son, James T. Archuleta of Aurora, Colo.; two daughters, Claudia Ann Echer of Newark, Del., and Sylvia A. Irons of Spring Hill; a brother, John I. Cardenas of San Antonio; a sister, Virginia Cardenas of Los Angeles, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Joseph Daniel Jackson, 87, of Erie, Pa., and High Point, Brooksville, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, in Erie.

Betty J. Sellers, 65, of Spring Hill, died Monday, March 27, 2006 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital. She moved to this area 45 years ago from her native Cario, Ga.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Sr.; a son, Ronald Jr. of Spring Hill; three daughters, Deborah Pfister and Teresa Smith, both of Port Richey, and Janet Wheldon of Brooksville; three brothers, John Tilley of Atlanta, Ga., Tony Tilley of Jacksonville, and J.C. Tilley of Cario; four sisters, Nella Mae of Cario, Belle of Deland, Maudine of New York, and Lorraine of St. Louis, Mo.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

William Albert Coffey Jr., 78, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. He was born in Medford, Mass., and moved to this area eight years ago from Charlotte, N.C.
Mr. Coffey was a member of the Masons Keystone Lodge 726, Matthews, N.C., and was master in 1984. He was a life member of Mecklenburg Shrine Club, North Carolina.
Survivors include his wife, Crystal A.; a son, William A. Coffey of Spring Hill; a daughter, Mary L. Coffey of Spring Hill; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Gloria Jean Carter, 82, of Brooksville, died Friday, March 24, 2006 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. She was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., and moved to this area 19 years ago from Chittenango, N.Y.
Ms. Carter was a professional artist, having one of her paintings on display at Hospice, a member of the VFW Post of Brooksville, served as “poppy chairman” for a number of years and also as Memorial Honor Guard as a flag master, and was a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Dianne Elmer of Brooksville; and two granddaughters, Stephanie Elmer of Suffield, Conn., and Roxanne Elmer of Dexter, Ore.

Edward A. Keene, 67, of Brooksville, died Friday, March 24, 2006 at his home. He was born in Tampa and moved to this area from Bushnell, where he was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Keene was a driver for DAB Constructors and a Vietnam War U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include a son, Allen Morris Keene of Orlando; a daughter, Myrna Ann Mote of Valdosta, Ga.; and a grandson.

Jerome “Jerry” Cummings, 90, of Hernando Beach, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital. He was born in Stamford, Conn., and moved to this area 30 years ago from Guilford, Conn.
Mr. Cummings retired from Grocery Store Products in the sales department after 25 years of service. He was a World War II U.S. Navy Seabee veteran and a member of the Hernando VFW and served as Chaplain, and St. Theresa Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include three sisters, Charline Kokesch of Hudson, Georgette Franke-Mikhael of Lemitary, N.M., and Blanche Cummings of Milsboro, Del.; and nieces and nephews.

George A. Reynolds, 79, of Hamilton, Ohio, winter resident of Brooksville, died Friday, March 24, 2006 at Brooksville Regional Hospital. He was born in Port Shepstone, South Africa, and has been a winter resident of Brooksville for many years.
Mr. Reynolds was a retired electrical engineer from General Electric, had many years of volunteer service at Brooksville Wesleyan Church, was a member of Bethel Community Church, Hamilton, and attended Brooksville Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jewel; two sons, Lawrence A. Reynolds of Fort Wayne, Ohio, and Timothy A. Reynolds of Gilbert, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Anthony "Tony" Addante, 92, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Bari, Italy, and moved to this area 23 years ago from Chicago, Ill. He was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors by his wife, Elaine of Brooksville; a daughter, Maria Addante of Chantilly, Va.; a son, Joseph Addante of Knoxville, Tenn.; and three granddaughters.

Dorothy "Nita" Lane, 80, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005 at an assisted living facility.
She moved to the area four years ago from her native Nashville, Tenn. She was a bank teller for First American National Bank, now Amsouth Bank, of Nashville and a member of the Church of Christ of Brooksville.
Survivors include three sons, Chester Jones of Brooksville, Ron Jones of San Jose, Calif., and Darrell Jones of Hendersonville, Tenn.; two sisters, Mary Katherine Gentry of Joelton, Tenn., and Helen Smithey of Nashville, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and three grandchildren.

Nellie Ferrazzano, 89, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005 at Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Center in Brooksville.
She was born in Paterson, N.J., and moved to this area 21 years ago from Hawthorne, N.J. She served as the recording secretary at the Broadway Tabernacle A/G Sunday School in Paterson, N.J. for 33 years. She was a homemaker and loved crocheting and knitting. She was a member of Christian Life Assembly of God.
Survivors include her husband, Vincent J.; a son, Joseph P. of Pleasant Hill, Calif.; a daughter, Nancy Anne Gerinzer of Lake Hiawatha, N.J.; a sister, Elsie Turner of Lakewood, N.J.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Bonnie Lee Garner, 67, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007 at her home. She was born in Washington, D.C., and moved to this area 11 years ago from Falls Church, Va.
Mrs. Garner was a cosmetologist and a member of Northcliffe Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne; two daughters, Theresa Furnari of Lutz and Karen Rutherford of Ashburn, Va.; two brothers, Lawrence E. Kidwell Jr. of Spring Hill and Gary S. Kidwell of Sterling, Va.; a sister, Patricia A. Hughes of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and four grandchildren.

Thelma Sipala, 67, of Weeki Wachee, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, in Brooksville.
She was born in Satcyville, Maine, and moved to this area 17 years ago from East Windsor, Conn. She owned the Sands of Florida Boutique for the past 15 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Kerrick of Weeki Wachee; her mother, Hildred McCarvill of Weeki Wachee; a brother, Richard McCarvill of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a sister, Tena Dolloff of Enfield, Conn.; and two grandchildren.

James P. Royer, 68, of Hudson, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He was born in Hillgrove, Ohio, and moved to this area 31 years ago from Ohio. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Barclay of Altoona; two sisters, Patsy Ballangee of Lakeland and BillieJoan Bernheisel of Lewisburg, Ohio; a brother, Richard of Lewisburg; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Louise I. Davis, 78, of Spring Hill died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Bryan, Ohio, and moved to this area 24 years ago from Athens, Mich. She was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 5319, Athens, American Legion of Ladies Auxiliary 186, Spring Hill, and M.O.C.A. 13, Shady Hills. She was a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include her son, Terry L. Davis of Warsaw, Ind.; a brother, Glenn H. Hower of Yuma, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his parents, Daniel Harper of Hudson and Pamela Tague of Port Orange; maternal grandparents, Noel and Shari Wells of Spring Hill; paternal grandmother, Sandra Harper of Antioch, Ill.; and a brother, Timothy Harper of Port Orange.

Homer Michael Jones, 94, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Garrard County, Ky., and moved to this area 27 years ago from Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a retired classroom instructor for 35 years with a master's degree in education from the University of Cincinnati and administrator for the Cincinnati Public School System. He was also a football and basketball coach. He was a musician and singer playing bass, and played in numerous local bands. He was a member of the 0X5 Club, Aviation Pioneers National Association, flew for over 50 years, teaching flight and aviation classes. He was recognized by Smithsonian Institute as an aviation pioneer. He was a World War II U.S. Navy lieutenant veteran. He was a past Cincinnati Golden Gloves boxing champion, semi-pro baseball player and catcher and a national swimming official for AAU swimming. He was a Mason for 50 years in Ohio, a member of American Legion, Trechter Post member and multiple time post commander. He was a deacon at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church, Mt. Washington, Ohio.
Survivors include his wife, Montana; three sons, Michael H. and Daniel R., both of Cincinnati, and Matthew P. of Brooksville; a daughter, Alice C.J. Smithers of Sarasota; an identical twin brother, Howard of Brooksville; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Freda H. Kirkland, 99, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at Heron Pointe Health & Rehabilitation.
She was born in Bartow and moved to this area 10 years ago from Jacksonville. She was a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Walter "Bullet" Jackson Cadle Sr., 52, of Brooksville, died Saturday, July 10, 2004 at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He was born in Aransas Pass, Texas and moved to this area 24 years ago from Tampa. He was a construction worker.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Cadle of Spring Hill; seven sons, Walt Cadle Jr., Ronald Cadle, Raymond Lawley, Ronald Lawley, Todd Cadle, Mitchell Payne and Daniel Cobianco; one daughter, Tammy Lynn; his mother and stepfather, Charlotte and Paul Brown; three brothers, Henry "Bo" Cadle, Steven Daniel Cadle and Eugene Cadle Jr.; four sisters, Brenda Stringer, Faye McCollum, Pooch Carter and Sandy Johnson; and 30 grandchildren.

Laurina M. Capano, 95, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, July 8, 2004 at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was born in Italy and came to Florida 17 years ago from Far Rockaway, N.Y. She was Catholic by faith. She enjoyed traveling and telling stories of her experiences in the past.
Survivors include two sons, Pasquale Capano, Jr., of East Rockaway, N.Y. and Anthony Capano of Ft. Lauderdale; two daughters, Laurina Hinchey and AnnaMarie Eliopoulos, both of Spring Hill; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
