William S. Hooper, 80, of Spring Hill, died Friday, March 25, 2005, at home.
He was born in Jacksonville and moved to this area 12 years ago from Long Island, N.Y. He was a World War II U.S. Army Air Corp veteran and a POW. He was a lifetime member of the Shriners and the VFW, and a member of the Congregational Church.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene of East Northport, N.Y.; three daughters, Wendy Nelson of Albany, N.Y., and Leslie Volpe and Victoria Cella, both of Long Island; a son, William S. of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Evelyn Phillips of New Jersey; and seven grandchildren.

Anna B. Seiler, 70, of Brooksville, died Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to Florida two years ago from Chester, N.Y. She was a retired Realtor.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony; a son, John Seiler of Brooksville; a daughter, Peggy Culhane of New Port Richey; and a granddaughter.

Esther E. Howell, 83, of High Point, Brooksville, died Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 18 years ago from Sussex, N.J. She retired after 15 years as a metalologist for A. Schrader & Son Tire Valve Co. She was a member of Mariner United Methodist Church and its church choir, past choir member of ARMA Corporation and also sang for the Salvation Army, both in New York.
Survivors include her husband, John F. Sr.; two sons, John F. Jr. of Port Richey and Richard T. of Wake Forest, N.C.; a sister, Ruth Barckus of Brooklyn; and five grandchildren.

Robert "Bob" L. Parrott, 82, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Minneapolis, Minn., and moved to this area eight years ago from Alabama. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran serving as a seaman 1st class ARM aviation gunner combat aircrewman. He was an industrial engineer for Woodruff & Edwards for 20 years and a chief industrial engineer at Hills McCanna before moving to Alabama where he bought a Dairy Queen restaurant which he operated for 19 years.
Survivors include his wife, Rosina; three sons, James Parrott, Thomas Parrott and Michael Parrott, all of Spring Hill; two sisters, Helen Burbury and Elizabeth Smith; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Clara E. Shove, 82, of Mayo, formerly of Brooksville, died Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Life Care Centers, Morristown, Tenn.
She was born in Anclote and moved to Mayo two years ago from Brooksville. She was a homemaker and a member of the Living Word Fellowship Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include a brother, Edgar T. "E.T." Sapp; two sisters, Frances Thomas and Grace Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

George Krishen, 86, of Port Richey, died Sunday, March 27, 2005, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Dunbar, Wis., and moved to this area 32 years ago from Chicago, Ill. He was a retired pharmacist and superintendent for Wilson Laboratory, and was a founding member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Irene; a son, Gregory Krishen of Memphis, Tenn.; a daughter, Karen Ragone of Spring Hill; a brother, Peter Morrow of Germantown, Wis.; and a sister, Vera Faber of Milwaukee, Wis.

Peter F. Razza, 78, of Spring Hill, died Friday, March 25, 2005, at the Park Place Assisted Living Facility, New Port Richey.
He was born in Newport, R.I., and moved to this area two years ago from Boynton Beach, where he had moved 20 years ago from Warwick, R.I. He was a retired traffic distribution manager for Nyman Manufacturing, East Providence, R.I., after 25 years of service. He was a World War II U.S. Merchant Marine veteran and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include two sons, Peter Razza of Tiverton, R.I., and Peppy Razza of North Kingston, R.I.; two daughters, Mary Lou Razza of Moretown, Vt., and Ann Marie Morin of Spring Hill; five brothers, Tony Razza, James Maher, Patrick Maher, Stephen Maher and Michael Maher, all of Newport; a sister, Sandra Kelly of Newport; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Gerard H. "Jerry" Ferguson, 79, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Shands Medical Center, Gainesville.
He was born in Jamaica, N.Y., and moved to this area 21 years ago from East Meadow, Long Island, N.Y. He retired from the New York Racing Association as supervisor with Belmont, Aqueduct and Saratoga race tracks. He was the owner of Patrician Stationary, Nesconset, Long Island, N.Y., and New Port Richey. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and took part in the Normandy Invasion. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Irene Mathews of Spring Hill; a sister, Eleanor Davis of Spring Hill; a brother, Larry Ferguson of Spring Hill; two grandchildren; five nieces; two nephews; and many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Gerard F. Frenette, 87, of Brooksville, died Monday, April 4, 2005, at home.
He was born in Arctic, R.I., and moved to Brooksville a year ago, and previously had lived in St. Petersburg for 22 years. He owned Gardner Tile Co., Inc., Gardner, Mass. for over 25 years. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include six daughters, Jackie St. Jean and Sandy Fredette, both of Gardner, Elaine Aho of Townsend, Mass., Linda Mercier of Lee, N.H., Lucille Wilbur and Connie Peabody of Largo; four sons, Bernie Frenette of Winchendon, Mass., Lee of New Hampshire, Ed Frenette of Brooksville and Bob Frenette of Grants Pass, Ore.; 19 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Darrell Anthony O'Berry, 38, of Brooksville, died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Shands Hospital, Gainesville.
He moved to this area 21 years ago from his native Miami. He was a former restaurant manager in the Brooksville area and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Rocky and Maryann O'Berry of Brooksville; three brothers, Jason, Kyle and Cameron, all of Brooksville; two sons, Derrick Anthony Bond of Hopkinsville, Ky., and Anthony O'Berry of Gainesville; two daughters, Miranda O'Berry and Elizabeth O'Berry, both of Missouri; and paternal grandmother, Martha O'Berry of Brooksville.

William J. McAteer Jr., 80, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, April 3, 2005, at his home.
He was born in Edison, N.J., and moved to this area 14 years ago from Spotswood, N.J. He was a retired facilities engineer for Bristol Myers Pharmaceutical Company, a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran and Prisoner of War, and a member of VFW Post 10209, Spring Hill, a POW Chapter, and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alice; two sons, William J. McAteer III of Temecula, Calif., and Joseph McAteer of Beachwood, N.J.; four daughters, Patricia Randall of Largo, JoAnn Lopez of St. Petersburg, Judith Tarkany of Spotswood and Gwyn Panno of Beachwood; a brother, Robert McAteer of Somerset, N.J.; two sisters, Patricia Bolger of New Rochelle, N.Y., and Peggy Holsworth of South Amboy, N.J.; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Janice Cerbone of Brooksville; and three grandchildren.

She was born in Sparta, Wis., moved to Hernando 35 years ago from Kenosha, Wis., and later moved to Brooksville. She was a housewife, a member of First Lutheran Church, Inverness, and attended Christ Lutheran Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include five nieces, Annette Zdun Boettger of Sarasota, Alice Forseberg of San Francisco, Calif., Lucille McDonald and Evelyn Kurtz, both of Pittsville, Wis., and Betty Jo Heimerl of Apache Junction, Ariz.; and two nephews, Richard Markee of Bell Flower, Calif., and Howard Sanders of Humbird, Wis.

She was born in Point Pleasant, W.Va., and moved to this area five years ago from Buckeye Lake, Ohio. She was a homemaker, a member of the Ladies Aid Society of Gypsy E.U.B. Church, Gypsy, W.Va., and attended Spring Lake United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Cleemont Leeson Jr. of Pickerington, Ohio; two daughters, Reta Campbell of Wilmington, N.C., and Paula Merritt of Brooksville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was born in Blakely, W.Va., and moved to this area 45 years ago from Charleston, W.Va. She was a homemaker, started the Brownie and Girl Scout troops in West Virginia and continued in Brooksville, a member of the Audubon Society and a Protestant by faith.

She was a Protestant by faith, a member of Lincoln Road United Methodist Church, Michigan, and attended Spring Lake United Methodist Church, Brooksville.
Survivors include her husband, Lyle; two sons, Marty and Tim, both of Riverdale; a sister, Mary Little of Holt, Mich.; and a grandchild.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie J.; a son, Michael S. of Summit, N.J.; two daughters, Cynthia Ann Hoeft of Oak Creek, Wis., and Debra Sue Riekkoff of Franksville, Wis.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was born in Tabor, Iowa, and moved to this area 21 years ago from Bartlesville, Okla. He was a professor and served as president at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Bartlesville and United Wesleyan College, Allentown, Pa., and Dean of Admissions at Western Evangelical Seminary. He was a missionary to Haiti, South Africa, Swaziland and Zambia, developed English curriculum for Vietnamese pilots and a member of Brooksville Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include two sons, Stanley N. Bonner of Brooksville and Dr. Robert E. Bonner of Bartlesville; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was born in Columbus, Ohio, and moved to Florida 31 years ago from Philadelphia, Pa. She was a retired bookkeeper, a member of several square dancing groups including Cloverleaf, Leprechauns and High Point, and participated in Florida state and several national square dancing competitions.
Survivors include a son, Charles A. Hoyer of Tyrone, Pa.; a daughter, Lorena H. Witty of Churchville, Pa.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
