Joseph C. Pelz, 80, of Brooksville, died Thursday, June 10, 2004, at his daughter's home in Canton, Mich.
He was born in Detroit, Mich., and was a resident of the Brookridge community for the past 25 years coming from Westland, Mich. He was a retired general welder for Ford Motor Company, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of Elks Lodge 2582, VFW Post 10209, Spring Hill, Brookridge Golf Association and St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Kastelic of Canton, Mich., and Charlene Forsythe of Drummond Island, Mich.; and three grandchildren.

Larue L. Lipski, 81, of Largo, formerly of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at Suncoast Hospital, Largo.
He was born in Fort Louis, Wash., and moved to Florida many years ago from Atlanta, Ga. He was a retired editor with CDC Motion Pictures, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, and a member of American Legion Post 186, VFW Post 10209 and Grace Presbyterian Church, all of Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Alison A.; a son, William of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Patricia L. Robinson of Valdosta, Ga., Carolyn Lipski of Atlanta, Ga.; and two grandchildren.

Hans "John" Weigert, 81, of Spring Hill, died Friday, June 11, 2004, at his caregiver's home.
He was born in Wedel, Germany, and moved to this area 24 years ago from New York. He was a retired landscaper and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrud; two sons, Holger of Germany and Ron of Florida; two daughters, Wendy Urick of Spring Hill and Sandra Mathis of New York; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Ileana Rivera, 36, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
She was born in Puerto Rico and moved to this area 25 years ago from Puerto Rico. She was active with the Day Treatment Program through The Harbor and was a member of Brooksville Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her parents, Julio and Rafaela Rivera of Brooksville; two brothers, Julio Rivera Jr. of Brooksville and Ricardo Rivera of Spring Hill; a sister, Sandra Rivera of Brooksville; maternal grandparents, Gillermina and Rafael Maldonado of Puerto Rico; and paternal grandmother, Francisca Nazario of Puerto Rico.

Edna D. Bailey, 91, of Hudson, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in England and moved to this area 45 years ago from New York. She was a manicurist until the age of 80 and was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Carole Matto of Spring Hill and Barbara Ashton of England; a son, Peter Bailey of England; a sister, Olive Keys of England; a brother, Raymond Hughes of Spain; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Matthew "Papa" Walczak, 78, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at his home.
He was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area 29 years ago from Riverview, Mich. He worked as a truck driver for Carlings Black Label Beer in Michigan and then owned and operated MJW Ranch of Brooksville. He was a member of the VFW, Lincoln Park, Mich., American Bowling Congress, and St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline; two daughters, Maureen Cloutier and Marjie McNeal; four sons, Matthew "Owen" Walczak, Vince Walczak, Charlie Walczak and Donald Walczak; two sisters, Madeline Kowalski and Helen Seletin; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Joyce M. Kramer, 73, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
She was born in Prairie du Chien, Wis., and was a winter resident of Brooksville for eight years. She was a member of St. Andrew-Thomas Catholic Church, Potosi, Wis.
Survivors include her husband, Neal of Brooksville and Potosi; three daughters, Cynthia Leibfried of Hazel Green, Wis., Debra Droessler of Potosi and Lori Stewart of Dubuque, Iowa; a son, Rick Kramer of Hayward, Wis.; two sisters, Mary Jo Moore of Prairie du Chien and Sharee Severson of Eastman, Wis.; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 12 stepgrandchildren; and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Harry Clayton Howell, 63, of Tampa, died Monday, March 28, 2005, at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Tampa.
He was a mechanic, a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of Suncoast Baptist Church, Tampa.
Survivors include a son, Alan Howell of Florida; two daughters, Christina and Kelly, both of Florida; four brothers, Thomas Daughton of Spring Grove, Pa., Russell Howell Jr. of East Petersburg, Pa., Daniel Howell of Quarryville, Pa., and Frederick Howell of Nevada; four sisters, Alice Shoff of Brooksville, Jean Sconyers of Lancaster, Pa., Pamela Daughton of Peach Bottom, Pa., and Nancy Watson of Delaware; and nine grandchildren.

Billy Gene Schimmell, 78, died Saturday, July 3, 2004, in Spring Hill.
He was born in Illinois and moved to this area 21 years ago from Owensboro, Ky. He was an aerial photographer for Lloyd's of London and was formerly a manager for American Tobacco. He was a World War II U.S. Navy pilot, an aircraft enthusiast and a Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Dietrich of Spring Hill; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

James E. Lacross, 70, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, July 6, 2004.
He was born in Colrain, Mass., and moved to this area eight years ago from Adams, Mass. He retired from Waverly Inc. as a supervisor.
Survivors include his wife, Esther; two sons, Timothy Michael of Pittsfield, Mass., and Donald James of Spring Hill; three daughters, Phyllis Ann Charron of North Adams, Mass., Mary Beth Burris of Pittsfield and Christine Rose Charron of Brooksville; and seven grandchildren.

Una Mae Clark, 85, of Brooksville, died Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Tangerine Cove, Brooksville.
She was born in Salyersville, Ky., and moved to this area 48 years ago from Wakefield, Ohio. She had been a waitress for the former Holiday Inn of Weeki Wachee and was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include a son, Gene Holton of Brooksville; a brother, Charles Caudill of Marysville, Ohio; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Walter "Bullet" Jackson Cadle Sr., 52, of Brooksville, died Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He was born in Aransas Pass, Texas, and moved to this area from Shady Hills, where he had moved 34 years ago from Tampa. He was a construction worker.
Survivors include his wife, Susan; seven sons, Walt Cadle Jr., Ronald Cadle, Raymond Lawley, Ronald Lawley, Todd Cadle, Mitchell Payne, and Daniel Cobianco; a daughter, Tammy Lynn; his mom and stepdad, Charlotte and Paul Brown; three brothers, Henry "Bo" Cadle, Steven Daniel Cadle and Eugene Cadle Jr.; four sisters, Brenda Stringer, Faye McCollum, Pooch Carter and Sandy Johnson; and 30 grandchildren.

Gerald R. Orsley, 83, of Brooksville, died Sunday, July 11, 2004, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Elmira, N.Y., and moved to this area six years ago from Boynton Beach. He was a retired engineer for IBM in Raleigh, N.C., a World War II U.S. Army Air Corp veteran, a member of Moose Lodge 1461 of West Palm Beach, American Legion Post of Boynton Beach, Audubon Society and Sierra Club, and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Edith; two sons, Jerry Orsley of Imrod, N.Y., and Jack Orsley of Wellington, Fla.; a daughter, Karen Phillips of Boynton Beach; a brother, Glennon Orsley of Crossville, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren.

Pamela L. Fell, 34, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Clearwater and was a native Floridian. She was a medical assistant.
Survivors include two sons, Donnie Lee Skinner and Derek Skinner, both of Spring Hill; a daughter, Ashley Fell of Spring Hill; and a brother, Dwayne Arnold of Charlotte, N.C.

Julia Ann Mihm, 77, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005, at her home.
She was born in Queens, N.Y., and moved to this area 17 years ago from Long Island, N.Y. She was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include a son, Paul Revere of Spring Hill; two daughters, Diane Eddings of Shirley, N.Y., and Elaine Breden of Spring Hill; a sister, Marie Bodnar of Palm Harbor; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Richard E. Gast, 76, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He moved to this area a year ago from his native Baltimore, Md. He was retired after 22 years as a steel worker with Bethlehem Steel, Baltimore.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Davidson of Spring Hill and Sharon Laddie of Davidsonville, Md.; a brother, Robert Gast of Pasadena, Md.; and a granddaughter.

Justine Wimberly, 71, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005, at her home.
She was born in Atlanta, Ga., and moved to this area 11 years ago from New Haven, Conn. She was a retired owner and operator of a restaurant and a Jehovah's Witness by faith.
Survivors include a son, Courtney Cheatham; a daughter, Kim Cheatham; a sister, Carolyn Collins; and several nieces and nephews.

Edgell E. Anderson, 67, of Istachatta, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Keyser, W.Va., and moved to this area 35 years ago from Hollywood. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was also employed by Duffy Construction, Miami, and retired after 35 years of service. He was a member of the VFW Post in Keyser and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Doris J.; three sons, Andy of Istachatta, Mark of West Virginia and Frank Roberts of Miami; four daughters, Vicki Spivey of Hernando, Monica Kauffman of Keyser, April Perdue of Brooksville and Vickie Milam of Brooksville; a sister, Justina Castle of Wisconsin; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Robert S. Oleysyck, 67, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, at his home.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Florida seven years ago from North Babylon, N.Y. He was a retired computer repair technician, a Korean conflict U.S. Navy veteran, and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen F.; and a son, Robert P. Oleysyck of Las Vegas, Nev.

Dorothy M. Creelman, 81, of Port Richey, formerly of Brooksville and Spring Hill, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at her home.
She was born in Baltimore, Md., and moved to this area 27 years ago from Clearwater. She was a retired tape librarian for the U.S. Army, past member of Westside Baptist Church, Brooksville, Northcliffe Baptist Church, Spring Hill, and OES Chapter 74, Brooksville.
Survivors include a daughter, Dolores Kiser of Port Richey; a son, Frederick Leyh of Schenectady, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Terry Ann Lucas, 36, of New Port Richey, formerly of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005, at home.

She was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area 12 years ago from Columbia, S.C. She was employed as an administrative assistant at the University of South Carolina. She was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion and the Lady Eagles.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathey Steadman of Columbia, S.C.; her stepfather, Paul Scott of Spring Hill; two grandsons; 11 brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her husband, Steven Masengale of Port Richey; a daughter, Shawna Henthorne of Port Richey; her parents, Helen and Albert Clendenen, both of Spring Hill; a brother, Tommy Morris of Hudson; three sisters, Dora Kennedy of Spring Hill, Teresa Wintz of Tarpon Springs and Sherry Koser of Inverness; and two grandchildren.

He moved to Florida 18 years ago from his native Chicago, Ill. He was a retired expediter, a World War II U.S. Merchant Marine and U.S. Army veteran and a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge.
Survivors include a son, Bruce Plenner of Bowling Brook, Ill.; a daughter, Bonny Plenner of Skokie, Ill.; two brothers, Jack Plenner of Deerfield, Ill., and Robert Plenner of Peru, Ill.; three grandchildren; and his companion, Jenny Cadwell of Brooksville.
