Survivors include his parents, Craig Corbett and Dana Capano of Spring Hill; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Kathleen Corbett; maternal grandparents, Richard and Patricia Capano; paternal great-grandparents, Charles Triolo and Mildred Corbett; and maternal great-grandparents, Lucy and Russell Anderson and Amelia Corbett.

Anna Nicastro, 91, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
She was born in Hackensack, N.J., and moved to this area 12 years ago from Paramus,
N.J. She was a retired clothing manufacturer and member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her son, Joseph Neil of Spring Hill; and a brother, Albert D'Ambrasio of S. Hackensack, N.J.

Robert J. Grant, 87, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was a born in Cleveland, Ohio, moved to Venice, Fla. 23 years ago, and has lived in this area for the past 16 years. He was employed with Sun Oil Company, a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the South Pacific, a member of the American Legion , Venice, VFW Post 10209, BEO Elk's Lodge, Spring Hill, Timber Pines Golf Club, and First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife Lucille "Dottie"; and several nieces and nephews.

Lillian Ghiotto Patterson, 100, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002 at Heartland of Brooksville.
She was born in Brooksville, and she was a retired secretary.
Survivors include five nephews, Thomas A. Ghiotto of Ft. Lauderdale, Robert A. Ghiotto of Hiawassee, Ga., James L. Ghiotto of Asheville, N.C., Frank Ghiotto of Sarasota, Fla., and Robert Ghiotto of Rockledge, Fla.; and five nieces, Gwen G. Brown of Tampa, Jean Sours of Ft. Lauderdale, Gail Ghiotto of Renton, Wash., Lynn Wright of Boone, N.C., and Eddie Ruth Capizola of Brooksville.

Warren A. Poole, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, June 21, 2003 at Oak Hill Hospital, Brooksville. He was born in Lynn, Mass., and moved here in 1988 from Chagrin Falls, Ohio. He was a mechanical engineer and also taught courses in engineering for four years at Lakeland Community College, Ohio.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Christian Church in the Wildwood, Weeki Wachee. He spent many years as a caregiver to his wife.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise of Spring Hill; a son, Charles of Spring Hill; two daughters, Diane Scotland and Pam Baldwin, both of Spring Hill; two brothers, Bill Poole of Spring Hill and Ernie Poole of Nahant, Mass; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Sybil L. Widdoes, 81, if Brooksville, died Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at Brooksville Health Care Center. She was born in Jacksonville and came here two years ago from Tampa. She was a Southern Baptist by faith and retired as a secretary with the State of Florida Agriculture Department.
She is survived by her son, Michael of Brooksville; a daughter, Holly Widdoes of Florida and three grandchildren.

Dr. Theodore George Rochow, 95, of Spring Hill, died Monday, June 23, 2003 at his home.
A native of Newark, N.J., he came to this area five years ago from Raleigh, N.C. He received a doctorate degree chemical microscopy from Cornell and a bachelor's degree in chemistry.
Dr. Rochow worked as a research fellow at the American Cyanimid Company in Stamford, Conn. He became an associate professor at North Carolina State University in the school of textiles. After retiring in 1974, he authored and co-authored three books and a number of technical research papers.
He was active in scientific and technical societies, a charter member of the Electron Microscopy Society of America for Testing and Materials, and in 1968 served as president of the New York Microscopical Society.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Cook Rochow and son Theodore F. of Brooksville.

Phyllis Sullivan-Sherman, 73, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, June 21, 2003 at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
She was born in East Long Meadow, Mass., and came to this area 43 years ago from Connecticut. She was a homemaker and attended Brooksville Assembly of God where she volunteered as a secretary for years. She also volunteered at Brooksville Regional Hospital's Enrichment Center.
She is survived by her husband Wallace of Brooksville; a son, Robert Sullivan of Brooksville; two daughters, Danielle Ford of Brooksville and Sandi Bowerman of Monroe, Conn.; and six grandchildren.

John H. Evans, 76, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, June 22, 2003 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit in Brooksville.
Evans was born in Newark, N.J. and came to this area two years ago from Valley Stream, N.Y. He was a retired insurance specialist for Allstate Insurance and a U.S. Army WWII veteran. Evans was also a former member of the Knights of Columbus, VFW and DAV. He was a former volunteer for Valley Stream Police Auxiliary and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Pat; three sons, John O. of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Mark of West Hempstead, N.Y. and Gregory of Massapequa, N.Y.; one daughter, Patricia A. Evans-Zuilkowski of Brooksville; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Myrtle "Myr" Durham, 88, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, June 21, 2003 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in Brooksville.
Born in Germantown, Pa, Durham came to this area two years ago from Brown Hills, N.J. She was a timekeeper for Warren Webster-RM Hollingshead Chemical Co. She was Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her two sons, Elwood Jones of Spring Hill and William Jones of Tigard, Ore.; a brother, Robert Nece of Biloxi, Miss.; two sisters, Marion Miller of Burlington, N.J. and Alice Miller of Hayden, Idaho; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Irene G. Quirk, 78, of Seminole but formerly of Brooksville, died Monday, June 24, 2003 in a health care facility. Born in Hartsgrove, Ohio, she came to this area in 1957 from North Madison, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Emily Plankey of Seminole; a brother, Lawrence Gladding of Bradenton; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Gail F. Peapples, 86, of Brooksville, formerly of New Port Richey, died Monday, July 29, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Benton Harbor, Mich., and moved to this area 27 years ago from Cadillac, Mich. He retired as a mechanic with Meadowland Memorial Gardens, New Port Richey, and also worked as a farm manager in Berrien County, Mich. He was a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine; a son, Gail F. Jr. of Fredericksburg, Va.; six stepsons, Donald Ames of St. Joseph, Mich., Steve Summers and Joseph Cooper, both of Brooksville, William Cooper of New Port Richey, Dennis Cooper of Hudson, and Virgil Cooper of Chiefland, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Eva Ayers of New Port Richey; a sister, Wanetta Brewer of Plymouth, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

William Wiley Beachum, 76, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, July 27, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville.
He was born in Wadesboro, N.C., and moved to this area recently from Charlotte, N.C. He retired in 1986 from the Volusia County Public School System as supervisor of secondary education and foreign languages. He then moved to Mexico, where he was a teacher at the Harmon Hall School, Vera Cruz, Mexico until earlier this year.
Survivors include his daughter, Shari LeDoux of Spring Hill; a brother, Thomas of Summerton, S.C.; and a sister, Patricia Young of North Carolina.

Rose Helen Darling, 86, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at Forest Oaks Care Center, Spring Hill.
She was born in Illinois. She was a homemaker and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Rosemary Moss of Newton, Ala.; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Tava Lavonne Trattles, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, July 27, 2002 at Tampa General Hospital.
She was born in Tampa.
Survivors include her mother and father, Patricia Bryant and Ronald of Spring Hill; maternal grandfather, Leon Bryant of Spring Hill; a sister, Ashley Girgis of Spring Hill; and several aunts, uncles and cousins, including Danny Bryant of Ohio, Mike Girgis and Douglas, both of Spring Hill, and Welthi McGuinn and Eric Shaw, both of Floral City.

James Gabrielson, 61, of Spring Hill, died Monday, July 29, 2002 at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 28 years ago from Jacksonville. He was employed by the City of Brooksville Utility Department and was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbi; a daughter, Kim Bolton of Brooksville; two brothers, Ed of Felton, Del., and Clinton of Atlanta, Ind.; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Ashlyn.

Betty L. Gawrych, 65, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002, at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
She was born in Weirton, W.Va., and moved to this area 12 years ago from Tampa. She was owner of Cedar Bend Nursery, Spring Hill, and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include three sons, Doug of Greensboro, N.C., Garry of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Patrick of Lutz, Fla.; a daughter, Ronee of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Rich Bryan of Weirton; a sister, Linda Stone of Follansbee, W.Va.; and seven grandchildren.

James Joseph McLaughlin, 65, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in New York and moved to this area 16 years ago from Yonkers, N.Y. He was owner of McLaughlin Photography, Spring Hill, city councilman in Yonkers, past president of Lucent Telephone Pioneers and Spring Hill Civic Association, treasurer of New York Club, member of Professional Photographer of Florida, former member of Chamber of Commerce, and a U.S. Marine Corp veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Pat; a daughter, Laurie Yodice of Cold Spring, N.Y.; a brother, Vincent of North Port, N.Y.; a sister, Joan Passaro of Mastic, N.Y.; two granddaughters; and several nephews and nieces.

Edna Ann McKinnon, 84, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002, at her home.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald of Spring Hill and George of Whittier, Calif.; two daughters, Mary Lamar of North Attleboro, Mass., and Edna Dellamaggiore of Spring Hill; a sister, Grace Stygles of Escondido, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Phyllis H. Garceau, 86, of Hudson, formerly of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002, at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.
She was born in Willimantic, Maine, and moved to his area 19 years ago from Sagus, Mass. She was a Registered Nurse for Chelsea Naval Hospital, Chelsea, Mass., and a member of the American Nursing Association, Alzheimers Association of West Pasco, and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include a son, Dana of Hudson; three daughters, Denise Sabatino of Byfield, Mass., Donna Tagg of Topsfield, Mass., and Debra Goodale of Zephyrhills; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Survivors include his parents, Howard and Mary Bodner of Junction City, Ky.; and a brother, Dave Alan Bodner of Lancaster, Ky.

Lillian Wolfe, 65, of Weeki Wachee, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville.
She was born in Mexico City, Mexico, moved to Chicago in her late teens and retired in Brooksville. She was a beautician and owned and operated her own business.
Survivors include two sons, Roman and Rubin; and three daughters, Arlene, Nancy and Shirley.
