Charles Raymond Conn, 63, of Palmetto, died Sept. 12, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Service will be in Gosport, Ind., at a later date. Kicliter Funeral Home, Palmetto, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 21475, St. Petersburg, Fla. 33742.
Born in Lafayette, Ind., Mr. Conn came to Manatee County from Indianapolis eight and a half years ago. He was a warehouse supervisor. He was Methodist. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Janet; four daughters, Mary White, Penny Webb and Carolyn, all of Indianapolis, and Penny Ferguson of Anderson, Ind.; four sons, Jeffrey White and Scott White, both of Indianapolis, Carl, of California, and William, of Anderson; a sister, Clara McLellen of Delphi, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Brian Edward Duby
Bradenton
Brian Edward Duby, 48, of Bradenton, died Sept. 12, 2001, at home.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Shannon Funeral Home, 1015 14th St. W. Service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Palma Sola Cemetery in Bradenton.
Born in Oakland, Calif., Mr. Duby came to Manatee County from Troy, N.Y., in 1996. He was a construction worker. He was Catholic.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothea Rafferty of Bradenton; three sisters, Lorraine Jewett of Ballston Spa, N.Y., Kathleen Laraway of Latham, N.Y., and Sandra McLarney of Troy; and two brothers, William, of Reading, Pa., and Lawrence, of Bradenton.

Robert Wayne Dye
Bradenton
Robert Wayne Dye, 66, of Bradenton, died Sept. 8, 2001, in Life Care Center.
Service will be held privately. Bradenton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Fla. 34238.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, Mr. Dye came to Manatee County from Schaumburg, Ill., in the 1980s. He was a musician.
Survivors include a son, Jason, of Bradenton; and a sister, Jeanne Melvin of Venice, Calif.

Richard D. Emmons
Bradenton
Richard D. Emmons, 79, of Bradenton, died Sept. 9, 2001, in Blake Medical Center.
Memorial service will be 4 p.m. Monday at the Emmons' residence, 4951 28th Court E., in Bradenton, with the Rev. John Gatewood officiating. Brown and Sons Funeral Homes, 26th Street Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 600 U.S. 301 Blvd. W., Suite 136, Bradenton, Fla. 34205.
Born in Akron, Ohio, Mr. Emmons came to Manatee County from there in 1976. He attended Christ United Methodist Church of Bradenton. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans in Bradenton, the Masons and Grotto, both in Akron.
Survivors include three sons, Richard D. Jr., of Rochester Hills, Mich., Roger A., of Akron, and Ronald P., of Bradenton; three sisters, Mary Carlton of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Frances Morris of Fort Myers, and Martha Fredricks of Akron; a brother, James, of Massillon, Ohio; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Edward Philip Hartz
Bradenton
Edward Philip Hartz, 67, of Bradenton, died Sept. 13, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
There will be no service. Griffith-Cline Funeral Homes, Manasota Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Born in Cleveland, Mr. Hartz came to Manatee County from North East, Pa., in 1999. He was the owner of Perry Beer in North East, where he retired from in 1990. He was Catholic. He was a member of the Moose of Westfield, N.Y.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara A.; two daughters, Phyllis Smith of Hookstown, Pa., and Lori Foust of DuBois, Pa.; two sons, Stephen, of Williamsburg, Ky., and James, of Lakeland; and five grandchildren.

Bernard George Lais
Bradenton
Bernard George Lais, 72, of Bradenton, died Sept. 11, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
There will be no local service. Bradenton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Amsterdam, N.Y., Mr. Lais came to Manatee County from Glenville, N.Y., in 1978. He was an auto mechanic at Sunset Chevrolet in Sarasota and at Cox Chevrolet in Bradenton before retiring. He was Catholic. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sisters, Eleanor Natola of Fultonville, N.Y., and Betty Turowski of Broadalbin, N.Y.; and three brothers, Francis J., of Crystal River, Harold E., of Amsterdam, and Robert R., of Palmetto.

James J. "Jim" Regan
Bradenton
James J. "Jim" Regan, 62, of Bradenton, died Sept. 11, 2001, in Tampa General Hospital.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Manatee Temple Lodge No. 31, 402 15th St. E., in Bradenton, with Masonic Lodge No. 31 Free and Accepted Masons and the Revs. George Fisher and K. Wayne Brown officiating. Inurnment will be in Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton.
Born in Middletown, N.Y., Mr. Regan came to Manatee County from New York State in 1972. He was a regional manager for Florida Fleet Drivers of Tampa. He attended New Hope Christian Church and was chairman of deacons and a song leader at First Christian Church. He was a member of Manatee Lodge No. 31 Free and Accepted Masons, the Hudson Valley Philharmonic Choir, the Showmen's League of America and a member of Emmaus Community.
Survivors include his wife, Marie; a son, Michael, of Horseheads, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.

Raymond Brian Belger
Columbia, S.C.
Raymond Brian Belger, 66, of Columbia, S.C., formerly of Bradenton, died Sept. 10, 2001, in Columbia.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Road, in Columbia. Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Luther H. Rickenbaker III officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Columbia. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, S.C. 29210.
Born in Jasper County, S.C., Mr. Belger was a former resident of Manatee County. He was senior vice president of Bank of America in Tampa. He attended Bethel United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea and in Okinawa from 1953-57. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 17 in Camden, S.C.
Survivors include a stepson, Jamie Beich of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Marie Reynolds and Virgie Neil Hubler, both of Lugoff, S.C.; and four brothers, Marvin and Don, both of Lugoff, Melvin of Ferndale, Mich., and Roger of Richardson, Texas.

Doris Bell
Palmetto
Doris Bell, 56, of Palmetto, died Sept. 4, 2001, in Manatee County.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at Westside Funeral Home, 704 11th St. W., in Palmetto. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 507 21st St. E., in Palmetto, with the Rev. Henry Washington officiating. Burial will be in Fogartyville Cemetery.
Miss Bell was born in Palmetto. She was a homemaker. She was Baptist.
Survivors include two sisters, Vinnie Pompey and Caretha Taylor, both of Palmetto; and four sons, John, Sam, Willie and Bobby Lee, all of Palmetto.

Jeanette A. Corriveau

Jeanette A. Corriveau, 81, of Bradenton, died Sept. 11, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. with a liturgical wake service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Shannon Funeral Home, 1015 14th St. W. Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1220 15th St. W. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1220 15th St. W., Bradenton, Fla. 34205.
Born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Mrs. Corriveau came to Manatee County from Harsens Island, Mich., in 1990. She was a homemaker. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Romeo P.; two daughters, Judith A. D'Eath of Bradenton, and Linda A. Dillabough of Warren, Mich.; three sons, Daniel R. of Bradenton, Ronald L. of Clinton Township, Mich., and John T. of Mount Clemens, Mich.; two brothers, Paul Tousignant and Gerald Tousignant, both of Windsor; a sister, Bernadette Fedoriuk of Bradenton; and six grandchildren.
