Julienne C. Curtis, 78, of Bradenton, died Sept. 8, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Service will be held at a later date. Shannon Funeral Home, Westview Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Roundup, Mont., Mrs. Curtis came to Manatee County from East Hartford, Conn., in 1968. She was a retired secretary.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Buttstead of Palmetto; and a stepdaughter, Linda Hamilton of Moorehead City, N.C.

Andrew Fath
Ellenton
Andrew Fath, 75, of Ellenton, died Sept. 10, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Memorial service will be held privately at a later date. National Cremation Society, Sarasota Chapter, is in charge of cremation arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 600 U.S. 301 Blvd. W., Suite 136, Bradenton, Fla. 34207.
Born in Milwaukee, Mr. Fath came to Manatee County from Juneau, Wis., in 1983. He was a security guard at the Missionary Village/Aurora Foundation in Bradenton. He was a member of the Evangelical Free Church in Bradenton. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Marian "Mickey"; a daughter, Linda Yorkey of Colgate, Wis.; a son, Andrew A. of Iron Ridge, Wis.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Jennie A. Gosselin
Ellenton
Jennie A. Gosselin, 98, of Ellenton, died Sept. 12, 2001, in Parrish.
Service will be held in Chicopee, Mass., at a later date. Burial will be in St. Rose Delima Cemetery in Chicopee. Kicliter Funeral Home, Palmetto, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Canada, Mrs. Gosselin came to Manatee County from Chicopee in 1989. She was a homemaker. She attended St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church. She was an honorary member of the Colony Cove "Rythemettes" line dancers.
Survivors include two daughters, Eileen A. Jones of Ellenton, and Vivian B. LaPearl of Belchertown, Mass.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Tony Montgomery Jr.
Panama City
Tony Montgomery Jr., 22, of Panama City, formerly of Bradenton, died Sept. 6, 2001, in Tallahassee.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Riggins and Daughter Funeral Home, 105 21st Ave. W. Service will be noon Saturday at Manatee Baptist Church, 1530 Sixth Ave. E., with the Rev. Glen Evans officiating. Burial will be in Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto.
Born in Bradenton, Mr. Montgomery was a former resident of Manatee County. He served in the U.S. Air Force as an air traffic controller.
Survivors include his wife, Kashema; a daughter, Katonia Shonte' Ja of Bradenton; his parents, Annie Edwards of Bradenton, and Tony Sr., of Palmetto; two sisters, Kenyetta Wilson of Bradenton, and Satonia, of West Palm Beach; two brothers, Ahmad Hird and Dominique Hird, both of Bradenton; and his grandparents, Woodrow and Maggie Edwards of Bradenton, and Walter and Beatrice Graham of Palmetto.

Ellen Caroline Murtha

Ellen Caroline Murtha, 77, of Bradenton, died Sept. 8, 2001, at home.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1220 15th St. W., with the Rev. Joseph Clifford officiating. Shannon Funeral Home, Town Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Fla. 34238.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Murtha came to Manatee County from Vincentown, N.J., 10 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was Catholic.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Dickson of Cortez Village, and Kathleen Morrison of Bradenton; a son, Timothy of Voorhees, N.J.; and three grandchildren.

Pauline N. Twiggs

Pauline N. Twiggs, 81, of Palmetto, died Sept. 12, 2001, in Mariner Health of Palmetto.

Born in Buffalo, Ala., Mrs. Twiggs came to Manatee County from Tampa in 1989. She was a homemaker. She was Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Prater of Birmingham, Ala.; a son, James, of Davenport; a sister, Frances Vetos of South Dakota; a brother, Curtiss Noble of Orange City; and a grandchild.

Miriam W. Butler

Miriam W. Butler, 85, of Bradenton, died Sept. 9, 2001, in Blake Medical Center.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. today, followed by a 5 p.m. prayer service, at Shannon Funeral Home, 5610 Manatee Ave. W. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the sanctuary at Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church, 2850 75th St. W. Burial will be held privately in the memorial gardens at Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Butler came to Manatee County from Bradford, Pa., in 1978. She was a homemaker. She attended Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church. She was president of the Women's Club of the Pebble Springs Condominium Association in Bradenton. She liked to play bridge, knit and crochet.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; two daughters, Margaret Anne Wynkoop of Knox, Pa., and Deborah Blackburn of Wilmington, N.C.; five sons, Robert "Ben" Jr., of Newport, R.I., Steve, of Port Jervis, N.Y., Michael, of Clarksville, Md., Donald, of Dallas, and David, of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Bernadette Rush of Egg Harbor, N.J.; two brothers, William Weber of Summit, N.J., and Harry Weber; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Marlen John Hager
Bradenton
Marlen John Hager, 78, of Bradenton, died Sept. 7, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Service will be 11 a.m. today at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3200 Manatee Ave. W. Memorial contributions may be made to Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches, P.O. Box 9571, Bradenton, Fla. 34206.
Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Mr. Hager came to Manatee County from Henderson, Ky., in 1952. He was a radio announcer. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a former Bradenton police officer, a former lieutenant with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office; a broadcast announcer for WTRL, WBRD and WDUV; past Hernando de Soto, 1982-83; Lion's Club; Mason; past member of the board of directors of the Florida Heritage Festival; Manatee Community Band; and past member of Palmetto Jaycees.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; two daughters, Cathy Booth of Palmetto and Tammy Quaderer of Bradenton; three sons, Dan, of Bradenton, Rick, of Ellenton, and Jim, of Palmetto; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Richard F. Klix
Bradenton
Richard F. Klix, 91, of Bradenton, died Sept. 6, 2001, at home.
Memorial service will be held in Bradenton at a later date. Brown and Sons Funeral Homes, 26th Street Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Utica, N.Y., Mr. Klix came to Manatee County from New Paltz, N.Y., as a winter resident since 1976 and permanently since December 2000. He was principal of Verona High School, he coordinated the centralization of the Vernon, Verona and Sherill Central Schools, and he was director of student teaching at SUNY and dean of the Graduate Studies School at SUNY in New Paltz. He attended the Dutch Reform Church in New Paltz. He was chairman of the Summer School Extension Program at SUNY in Farmingdale, N.Y., advisor of the Arathusa Sorority at SUNY in New Paltz; and a member of the New Paltz Rod and Gun Club during the 1950s; and the Paltz Club from 1970 to 2001.
Survivors include his wife, Polly; a daughter, Jean C. Luce of Bradenton; a son, John R., of Clintondale, N.Y.; a brother, Robert, of Syracuse, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.

William A. Morehouse
Bradenton
William A. Morehouse, 83, of Bradenton, died Sept. 7, 2001, at home.
Service will be held privately at a later date. National Cremation Society, Sarasota Chapter, is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Born in Pond Creek, W.Va., Mr. Morehouse came to Manatee County from Akron, Ohio, in 1985. He retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. in 1980, after 39 years of service. He was Methodist. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and in the Counter Intelligence Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Masons for 52 years.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; three daughters, Faye Justus of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Nancy Wenzel of Brighton, Mich., and Barbara Jennings of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Irene Tritch of Cuyahoga Falls, and Ieleen Anderson of Stow, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
