Emmette Roy Fralix
Emmette Roy Fralix, age 49, of Okeechobee, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001 at Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee. Born March 4, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant, Tenn. Mr. Fralix was a Truck Driver by trade.
Preceded in his death by his parents, James Garland and Lillian Lucille Fralix; brother, Norris C. Fralix,and sister Linda Gertrude Fralix Hines.
Survivors include; his daughter Shawna Pafford of Okeechobee ; step-daughter, Angie Chambers of Okeechobee; two step-sons: Rod Johnson and Johnny Ray Johnson both of Okeechobee; five brothers: Jerry Fralix and Ronnie Fralix , both of Okeechobee ; Kenneth Fralix;Terry Fralix and Carey Fralix, all of Tenn., four grandsons; Noah Pafford, Brett Bridges, Chad Johnson and Josh Garwood of Okeechobee ; one granddaughter; Taylor Chambers of Okeechobee ; and a host of cousins , nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, Jan. 29, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the Bass Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Johnny Jarriel and Wynn Fralix will be officiating the services.
Visitation will be on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bass Funeral Home, interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
All arrangements are entrusted under the direction and care of the Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Dolores E. Rogers
Dolores E. Rogers, age 68, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at Hospice of Palm Beach County. Mrs. Rogers was born on March 10, 1932 in Springdale, Pa. She was a previous resident of Debary, Fla., and moved to Okeechobee 10 years ago.
She was Preceded in her death by: her parents; Mr. & Mrs. Stephen Rayburg, sister; Betty Pobiak, brother; Thomas Rayburg.
Survivors include: her husband of 26 years, Richard L. Rogers of Okeechobee, seven sisters; Mary Ann Miller of Cheswick, Pa.,Nancy Williams and Sandra Skanderson, both of Springdale, Pa., Diane Hargraves of Okeechobee, Debra Anthony of Lower Burrell, Pa., Kay Valasek of Natrona Heights, Pa., Martha Kopecky of Masena, N.Y., three brothers; Edward Rayburg of Crucible, Pa., Gerald Rayburg of Leechburg, Pa., and Steve Rayburg of Lower Burrell, Pa., and one grandchild.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral Services will be Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 701 S.W. Sixth Street, Okeechobee.
Memorial contributions can be made to: Hospice of West Palm Beach, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, Fla.
All arrangements are under the direction and care of the All County Funeral Home and Crematory, Lake Worth, Fla.

Rex Darrell Richards
Rex Darrell Richards, age 42, of Malabar and Okeechobee, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, in Okeechobee. Mr. Richards was born July 5, 1958 in Tampa, Florida. He attended the Fort Drum Community Church.
Survivors include: two brothers, Lamar M. Richards, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Jeffery Kent Richards (Lani), all of Okeechobee; Mother, Betty Lou Lyttle of Melbourne; one niece, Hannah Richards; and a host of cousins.
There will be no visitation or services.
All arrangements are under the direction and care of the Buxton Funeral Home and Crematory.

James Harrington Foster
James Harrington Foster , age 64, of Okeechobee, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001 at his residence. Born November 27, 1936 in Montgomery, Ala., Mr. Foster had formerly lived in West Palm Beach and had been a resident of Okeechobee for four years. He was a member of the Treasure Island Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Kris Rolling (Sam) of Okeechobee; two stepsons; Mark Thiboult (Maria) of Royal Palm Beach and Doug Thiboult (Janetta) of Okeechobee; one step daughter, Deborah Lamb (Chuck) of Pa.; two grandchildren; and five step grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001 at 5 p.m. at Treasure Island Baptist Church, 4209 U.S. Hwy. 441 S.E., Okeechobee, with Pastor Duane Eatmon, officiating.
All arrangements are under the direction and care of the Buxton Funeral Home and Crematory.

Henry Prescott
Henry Prescott, age 95, died Jan. 22, 2001, in the Port St. Lucie Nursing Care Center in Port St. Lucie. Mr. Prescott was born on Nov. 22, 1905 in Wachula. He was a Cattle Rancher and a Baptist by faith. Mr. Prescott served in the United States Army.
Survivors include: Wife, Maybelle Prescott of Fort Pierce;Daughter, Jacqueline Osteen of Fort Pierce; Son, Leslie Ansell of Oregon, Ohio, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Jan. 24, starting at 5 until 7 p.m. at the Bass Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, grave side at the Basinger Cemetery with Pastor Joe Bishop officiating.
All arrangements are entrusted under the direction and care of the Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Odis Ray Windham
Odis Ray Windham, age 54, of Okeechobee, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001 at his residence. Born July 13, 1946 in Oliver Springs, Tenn., Mr. Windham had been a resident of Okeechobee for 25 years.
Survivors include: his wife of 33 years, Kathrin Windham of Okeechobee; one son, Billy Ray Windham of Williamsburg, Ky.; one daughter, Carolyn Elaine Windham of Avon Park; one grandson, Coeo Hernandez, Jr. of Avon Park; two brothers, Edward and Francis Windham of Tenn.; one sister, Carolyn Windham of Tenn.; mother-in-law, Evelyn Perdue of Okeechobee ; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or services.
All arrangements are under the direction and care of the Buxton Funeral Home and Crematory.

Henry J. Caplenor
Henry J. Caplenor, age 90, of Okeechobee and formerly of Lebanon, Tenn., died Jan. 7, 2003, at Raulerson Hospital.
Mr. Caplenor was born on Oct. 2, 1912, in Wilson County, Tenn., son of the late Henry Jefferson and Myrtle Hobbs Caplenor.
Mr. Caplenor was a farmer and worked many years for the U.S. Corps of Engineers. He was a member of the Highland Heights Church of Christ and a US Army veteran of World War II.
Preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Frances Patterson Caplenor; sister, Mary Lou Powell; and two brothers, J.T. Caplenor and Ray Caplenor.
Survivors include: three nephews, Jeff Caplenor of Signal Mountain, Tenn., Jere Caplenor of Lebanon, Tenn. and Mike Caplenor of Clarksville, Tenn.; niece, Karen Nolen of Leewood, Kan.; sister-in-law, Ruby Ray Caplenor of Lebanon, Tenn.; and several great nieces and nephews also survive him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at 1 p.m., at the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge No. 1753, 159 N.W. 36 St., Okeechobee.
All arrangements were under the direction of the Ligon and Bobo Funeral Home, Lebanon, Tennessee, (615) 444-2142.

Clement Frank Zeimet
Clement Frank Zeimet, age 91, of Okeechobee, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003, at Integrated Health Services in Fort Pierce.
Mr. Zeimet was born on Feb. 2, 1911, in Milwaukee, Wis., son of Michael and Martha (Gorzynski) Zeimet. Mr. Zeimet was a knitter in a hosiery company and also was a security guard for Palm Beach Junior College. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, receiving a Victory Medal, European-African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with 2 Bronze Battle Stars, two Overseas Service Bars and a Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Zeimet was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include: his daughter, Rosie (Mac) Simpson of Okeechobee; his son, Steven (Jill) Zeimet of Buckhead Ridge; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren also survive him.
There will be no visitation held.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Jan. 24,2003, at 10 a.m., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wis.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast, P.O. Box 1748, Ft. Pierce, Fla. 34954-1748.
All arrangements are entrusted to the loving care of the Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Evelyn Harrell
Evelyn Harrell, age 71, of Okeechobee, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at Raulerson Hospital. Born Nov. 4, 1929, in Valdosta, Ga., Ms. Harrell was a housewife by occupation.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Ann Harrell (1954)
Survivors include: son, Robert Wayne Harrell; daughter, Diane Johnson; and, four grandchildren, all of Okeechobee.
Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 22 from 4 until 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 3 p.m. at the Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home.

Edward Francis Joseph Huss Sr.
Edward Francis Joseph Huss Sr., age 72, of Okeechobee, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at the Okeechobee Health Care Facility. Born April 2, 1928, in St. Louis, Mo., Mr. Huss had been a resident of Okeechobee for two years. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion, having served in the Navy during WWII.
Survivors include: one son, Edward J. Huss Jr. of Sunrise; two daughters, Joan Davis of Tallahassee, and Peggy Wrazen of Tampa; five grandchildren; and, one brother, Victor Huss of St. Louis, Mo.
There will no visitation or services.
All arrangements are under the direction and care of the Buxton Funeral Home and Crematory.

Santiago Ines
Santiago Ines, age 50, of Okeechobee, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, in Fort Pierce. Mr. Ines was born July 25, 1950, in Mexico.
Survivors include: two sons, Faustino Ines Del Angel and Santiago Ines Del Angel; and, three daughters, Cecilia, Hedit and Marisoe.
Visitation will be held at the Buxton funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 24, from 6 until 8 p.m. Interment will be in Mexico.
All arrangements are under the direction and care of the Buxton Funeral Home and Crematory.
