WINIFRED S. POWELSON, 94, Palm City, died Thursday, Oct. 7. Mrs. Powelson was a homemaker. She was born in New York City. Survivors: daughter, Barbara Shank, Palm City; son, Ralph, Orlando; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. All County Funeral Home & Crematory, Stuart.

VELVA FRAZIER, 84, 4465 Oak Arbor Circle, Orlando, died Friday, Oct. 8. Mrs. Frazier was a homemaker. Born in Delaware, Ohio, she moved to Central Florida in 1968. She was Protestant. RUTH B. HINTZ, 84, 7200 Greenboro Drive, West Melbourne, died Thursday, Oct. 7. Mrs. Hintz worked for Genesis Elder Care. Born in New York City, she moved to Central Florida in 1960. MABLE G. HORSEWOOD, 69, Fairbluff Drive, Zellwood, died Thursday, Oct. 7. Mrs. Horsewood was a nurse. Born in Macon, Ga., she moved to Central Florida in 1989. She was a member of Plymouth-Sorrento Seventh-day Adventist Church, Apopka. Survivors: husband, Dennis; sons, Edward Meeks, Port St. Lucie, Alan Meeks, Paducah, Ky., Stanley Meeks, Tennessee; sister, Peggie J. Kennedy, South Carolina; nine grandchildren. ROBERT INGERSOLL, 90, West Beresford Avenue, DeLand, died Wednesday, Oct. 6. Mr. Ingersoll was a retired salesman and a professional piano player. He was a member of the Federation of Musicians and the American Association of Retired Persons.
