MAXINE BANNING COURSEN, 91, 460 Newell Hill Road, Leesburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 9. Mrs. Coursen was a retired secretary and pianist for the First Baptist Church of Tavares. Born in Monroe, N.C., she moved to Leesburg from Tavares in 1999. Survivors: son, Jack Banning, Belleview; daughter, Barbara Winn, Leesburg; stepson, Gene, Tavares; brother, Phil Stinson, DeLand; sisters, Faire Pemble, Leesburg, Sara Martin, Eustis; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. GAIL ALESSANDRINI, 61, Osprey Links Road, Orlando, died Thursday, Aug. 10. Mrs. Alessandrini was a homemaker. Born in Winslow, N.J., she moved to Central Florida in 1999. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Survivors: husband, James, Orlando; son, James L., Estell Manor, N.J.; daughters, Wendy Errickson, LeeAnn Myrtetus, both of Orlando; six grandchildren. MARY STALEY BOLING, 81, Peterson Road, Apopka, died Thursday, Aug. 10. Mrs. Boling was a caregiver. Born in Mount Gilead, N.C., she moved to Central Florida in 1953. She was a member of Apopka Garden Club. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Apopka. Survivors: daughters, Polly Ryan, Branson, Mo., Sue Roberson, Apopka; stepdaughter, Judy McAnulty, Concord, N.C.; brother, Jack Staley, Ocala; sisters, Nell Gibson, Concord, Faye Maness, Carthage, N.C., Mattie L. JANE BOSKOVICH, 65, St. Andrews Boulevard, Winter Park, died Friday, Aug. 11. Mrs. Boskovich was an administrative secretary. Born in New York, she moved to Central Florida in 1975. She was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church. Survivors: daughters, Lori Boskovich-Riddle, Apopka, Trish Parker, Winter Springs; son, Vincent, Orlando; five grandchildren. VALERIE K. BROOKS, 78, 500 Village Place, Longwood, died Thursday, Aug. 10. Mrs. Brooks was a retired activities director. Born in Wallingford, Conn., she moved to Central Florida in 1981. She was a member of Eastern Star, Melbourne Women`s Club and National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Survivors: son, Thomas; daughter, Gwendolyn, San Mateo, Calif.; two grandchildren. AL BRUSNAHAN, 79, Rush Street, New Smyrna Beach, died Thursday, Aug. 10. Mr. Brusnahan was a retired self-employed painter. Born in Pensacola, he moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1958 from Orlando. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Smyrna. He was a member of the New Smyrna Beach Industrial Board, Beach Advisory Board and Housing Authority Board. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Survivors: wife, Agnes; son, Albert D., Sarasota; daughters, Margaret Mercer, Eagle River, Alaska, Mary Farmer, New Smyrna Beach, Susan Kurrus, Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. MEREDITH S. BURCH, 67, Atlantic Beach, died Tuesday, Aug. 8. Capt. Burch was a retired oral surgeon for the Navy. Born in Bogalusa, La., she moved to Atlantic Beach from Central Florida in 1996. CONSTANCE BARROW CARDWELL, 88, San Rafael, Calif., died Friday, Aug. 4. Mrs. Cardwell moved to San Rafael from Central Florida in 1997. DENNY R. ALBRIGHT, 66, Breakwater Drive, Oviedo, died Friday, Aug. 11. Mr. Albright was the retired owner/operator of Albright Insurance Co. Born in Roaring Spring, Pa., he moved to Central Florida in 1975. He was a member of American Legion Post 147, Rotary Club, Lions Club, Quarterback Club, executive director of Garver Memorial YMCA and Salvation Army board of directors. He was Protestant. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Survivors: wife, Hazel M.; sons, Martin, Bath, Maine, Michael, Altoona, Pa.; four grandchildren. Banfield Funeral Home, Winter Springs.

WILLIE ANDERSON BINKLEY, 64, St. James Avenue, Deltona, died Friday, Aug. 11. Mr. Binkley was a retired sergeant first class of the Marine Corps and veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War. Born in Nashville, Tenn., he moved to Central Florida in 1990. He was a member of Military Order of the Purple Heart and Coast Guard Auxiliary.
