HAROLD C. SCHAIBLE JR., 74, Sandra Drive, Titusville, died Tuesday, May 23. Mr. Schaible was an airline mechanic for TWA. Born in Kansas City, Kan., he moved to Central Florida in 1981. He was a member of American Legion Post 1, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4228, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Masonic Lodge 3 and Arafat Shriners Temple. CATHERINE E. SKOWRON, 85, Ancor Court, Orlando, died Tuesday, May 23. Mrs. Skowron was a homemaker. Born in New Jersey, she moved to Central Florida in 1988. She was Roman Catholic. GERTRUDE MARTIN STANG, 86, South Lakemont Avenue, Winter Park, died Tuesday, May 23. Mrs. Stang was a homemaker. Born in Carteret, N.J., she moved to Central Florida in 1924. She was a member of PEO DeLand Chapter. She was a member of Winter Park Presbyterian Church. Survivors: son, Maj. Gerald Martin, DeLand; daughter, Barbara J. ELMER WEARS, 73, First Avenue, DeLand, died Tuesday, May 23. Mr. Wears was a retired businessman. Born in Columbus, Ohio, he moved to Central Florida in 1979. He was an Army veteran of World War II. CHARLES FILMORE WEISS, 80, Carew Avenue, Orlando, died Wednesday, May 24. Mr. Weiss was a retired manufacturing manager for Martin-Marietta. Born in Baltimore, he moved to Central Florida in 1957. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and Retirement Association of Martin-Marietta. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran. Survivors: wife, Margaret; sons, Charles Richard, Dunwoody, Ga., the Rev. Robert, Newtown, Conn., John Joseph, Coral Gables, Thomas James, Winter Park; brothers, John J., Thomas S., both of Baltimore; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Born in Kissimmee, she was a lifelong resident of Central Florida. She was a cheerleader, on the track team and STEP team at Osceola High School. She was on the dance team at Christ Deliverance Church and a member of Christ Deliverance Center, Kissimmee.
