VLASTA J. DIZZINE, 68, Missouri Avenue, St. Cloud, died Thursday, Aug. 17. Mrs. Dizzine was an analyst for Mercury Marine Co. Born in New York City, she moved to Central Florida in 1969. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, St. Cloud. Survivors: sons, Jim, Donald, both of St. Cloud; sister, Dorothy Colleluora, Highland Falls, N.Y.; brothers, George Krentz, Jacksonville, N.C., Arthur Krentz, Radcliffe, Ky. D.L. "BUD" EDMUNDS JR., 76, Blossom Lane, Winter Park, died Thursday, Aug. 17. Mr. Edmunds was retired machinist for National Electric Coil. Born in Godby Branch, W.Va., he moved to Central Florida in 1960. She attended Kilarney Baptist Church. Survivors: companion, Lois; son, Grant, Tampa; daughter, Denise, Reddick; stepdaughters, Melissa Dominy, Tampa, Melinda Overcash, Orlando; sisters, Bess McCoy, Sue Mathis, both Logan, W.Va.; six grandchildren. MARILYN M. FECTEAU, 66, 2264 September St., Melbourne, died Wednesday, Aug. 16. Mrs. Fecteau was a homemaker. Born in Burlington, Vt., she moved to Central Florida in 1998. She was a Protestant. ALAN ELDRIDGE BAILES, 78, Van Cleef Road, Glenwood, died Monday, Sept. 25. Mr. Bales was a retired principal for DeLand Senior High School. He also was a former teacher for DeLand Junior High. Born in Fort Mills, S.C., he moved to Central Florida in 1949. He was a member of Stetson Baptist Church, DeLand. He was a member of the National Educators Association, the Lions Club and the Florida High School Athletic Association. He was a Coast Guard veteran. JOHN W. BOGGAN, 81, South Bumby Avenue, Orlando, died Thursday, Sept. 28, of cancer. Mr. Boggin was a retired teacher at Mid-Florida Tech. Born in Andalusia, Ala., he moved to Central Florida in 1938. He was a member of Conway United Methodist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: wife, Gladys M.; sons, Jake, Dayton, Ohio, Howard N., Orlando; daughters, Carolyn Boggan-Creed, Ocoee, Pamela A., Orlando; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
