Born in Wayne County, Ohio, he moved to Central Florida in 1978. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Orrville, Ohio. He was a member of the DeLand Country Club and was former director of Stebbins National Bank, Creston, Ohio. Survivors: wife, Virginia A.; sons, Richard S., Dallas, Thomas S., Savannah, Ga., Daniel S., Tallahassee; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home, DeLand.

ROBERT J. PRICE, 73, Gaymar Drive, Orlando, died Wednesday, Aug. 16. Mr. Price was a cabinetmaker. Born in Vance County, N.C., he moved to Central Florida in 1963. He was Pentecostal. Survivors: daughter, Linda Kay, Florida; one grandson. Woodlawn Memorial Funeral Home, Orlando.

FRANCIS P. 'RED" QUINN, 85, Stetson Avenue, DeLand, died Wednesday, Aug. 16. Mr. Quinn was a retired airline mechanic. Born in North Reading, Mass., he moved to Central Florida in 1981. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors: wife, Florence; sons, Philip F., Broad Brook, Conn., Michael P., Enfield, Conn.; daughter, Patricia Gauvine, DeLand; brother, Joseph, Enfield; sister, Kathleen, Enfield; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. JAMES NATHAN SALYER JR., 73, South Lake Orlando Parkway, Orlando, died Tuesday, Aug. 15. Mr. Salyer was a branch manager for General Motors Acceptance Corp. Born in Huntington, W.Va., he moved to Central Florida in 1979. He was a member of Elks Lodge. He was Protestant. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: wife, Anna Lee; son, James N. MARIE L. SERRANO, 62, 233 Therese Ave., Davenport, died Thursday, Aug. 17. Mrs. Serrano was a homemaker. Born in New York, she moved to Central Florida in 1994. She was Christian. LILA KAY STULL, 64, Packard Avenue, Oviedo, died Wednesday, Aug. 16. Mrs. Stull was a secretary. Born in Lincoln, Neb., she moved to Central Florida in 1980. She was a member of Oviedo United Methodist Church. Survivors: husband, Jerry; sons, Dean Runzel, Oviedo, Brent Runzel, Elgin, Ill.; daughter, Pam Gossee, Winter Springs; sister, Bonnie Everly, Hollister, Mo.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. BERNETTE L. THOMAS, 80, Muirfield Drive, Titusville, died Wednesday, Aug. 16. Mrs. Thomas was a retired secretary for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Born in Falcon, Ky., she moved to Central Florida in 1980. She was Methodist. Survivors: sisters, Elizabeth E. Loper, Marian Tackatt, both of Titusville. North Brevard Funeral Home, Titusville.

JAMES BARRY THOMPSON, 59, Wind Drift Road, Belle Isle, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, of a heart attack. Mr. Thompson was a retired personnel specialist for the federal government. Born in Oxford, Pa., he moved to Central Florida in 1980. He was a member of Bumby Street Church of Christ. He was an Army veteran. GLENN TYSON, 77, Pleasant View Drive, Apopka, died Wednesday, Aug. 16. Mr. Tyson was a mechanic for Britt Fruit. Born in Lyons, Ga., he moved to Central Florida in 1958. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. WILBUR C. VANDERHOOF, 82, Seabreeze Court, Orlando, died Thursday, Aug. 17. Mr. Vanderhoof was an engineer for Lockheed Martin. Born in Newark, N.J., he moved to Central Florida in 1963.
