Annice Cripe Ardo
Ardo, Annice Cripe, 90 yrs of Panama City and former longtime resident of Dade City. She was born March 3, 1917 in Dade City the daughter of D.C. and Lottie Guy Crip. She has taught schools in Pasco County for many years. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by two sons: Carl L. (Jean) Fernandez, Panama City and Harold (Pat) Fernandez, Panama City; two granddaughters, Janet Fernandez, Tampa and Jenna Fernandez, Orlando; and a great grandson, Nicholas.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 26 at William Cemetery, Dade City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bay County Hospice, Panama City, Florida.

Betty G. Walters
Walters, Betty G., 56, of Brooksville, FL, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Brooksville Regional Hospital. She was born July 1, 1950 in Florida to Alton & Pauline Pain Goodwin and moved to Brooksville 10 years ago from Dade City. She was the former owner and operator of the Yellow Cab Co. in Dade City and Plant City and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Brooksville. She is survived by 3 daughters: Ronda & Paul Jones, Zephyrhills, FL, Marcie Jackson, Zephyrhills, FL, Siji Walters, Brooksville, FL; her mother: Pauline Goodwin, Brooksville, FL; 2 brothers: Junior Goodwin & Charlie Goodwin, both of Florida; 2 sisters: Mikki West, San Antonio, FL, Julie Cody, Lakeland, FL; and 5 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Carolyn (Pat) Malony
Molony, Carolyn (Pat), passed away on Saturday March 24, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James Molony of Zephyrhills, her daughter Judy Roberts of Lutz, daughter Peggy Kensel (Brian) of Valrico, son Dan Molony (Andrea) of Lutz, son Mike Molony of Holiday, son Jim Molony Jr. (Maria) of Pearland, Texas, son Rick Molony of Holiday and daughter Colleen Maggard (Randy) of Zephyrhills; 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She was born in Covington, KY on December 5, 1929, to Frank and Freda Sheridan. She married Jim Molony on May 20, 1950 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Covington. Although musically and artistically talented, Pat’s main interest was art. Over the years she taught many children and adults in her home studio in Florence, KY. In 1967 Pat and her family moved to Tampa, FL where she taught art at St. Lawrence School, Sacred Heart Academy and Academy of the Holy Names. Later she taught art at several retirement communities in Zephyrhills. Pat’s exuberance, zest for living and determination influenced all who knew her. She taught her seven children to look for beauty around them, enjoy life and rely on God in all things. A wonderful wife, mother, artist and teacher, Pat will be sorely missed and forever loved. A visitation will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home on State Route 54, Tuesday, March 27, 2007 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 AM, March 28, 2007 with Father George Rozycki officiating. A Graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery.

Juanita S. O’Berry
O’Berry, Juanita S., passed away on March 22, 2007 in Dade City, Florida. Born in Odessa, Florida, she was a fourth generation Pasco County Floridian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wynn O’Berry, and is survived by two daughters, Cheryl O’Berry of Dade City and Debora (and Steve) Best of Georgetown, Texas. She was a graduate of Pasco High School class of 1938 and a graduate of Lakeland Business College. Juanita was a member of the LoveJoy class of the First Baptist Church of Dade City, a member of the Pasco County Historical Society, and a long-time member of the Dade City Garden Club. She was a 50-year member and past Worthy Matron of Trilby Chapter #89, Order of the Eastern Star and a Grand Representative. Graveside funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the Dade City Cemetery.

Betty G. Walters

Maggie Marie Herring
Herring, Maggie Marie, 90, passed away Wednesday, March 21 at her home in Dade City. She was born January 10, 1917 in Hiawassee, GA and moved to Florida in 1936. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dade City and was head of the nursery there for many years. After graduating Summa cum laude from St. Leo College at the age of 57, she went on to teach for several years in the local Head Start program. Mrs. Herring was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Herring and daughter Carmen Parker. Survivors include 4 children: Patricia (Dale) Gregory, Tarpon Springs; Stewart (Joanne) Herring, Williston; Stephen (Vickie) Herring, Dade City; and Lisa Herring, Dade City; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends may call Sunday afternoon from 4 – 6 pm at the 5th St. Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, Dade City. Funeral services will be held 11am Monday, March 26 at the First Baptist Church of Dade City, followed by interment at Floral Memory Gardens in Dade City. Contributions in her memory may be made to Pasco-Hernando Hospice.

Gloria Gallagher
Gloria Gallagher, Wesley Chapel, formerly of Davie, FL, went to heaven on March 22, 2007. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved life, and embraced all it had to offer. Her family was everything to her. She is survived by her children: Lori (Jerry) Savoy, William Greene, Robert Greene James (Tania) Gallagher, Garrett Gallagher, Steven (Michele) Gallagher, Adam (Albis) Gallagher, Mary Ann (Mitch) Gerber; her grandchildren; Elizabeth (Jeff) Bauroth, Ryan and Sean Gallagher, Tyler Gallagher, Shannon and Kelly Gallagher, Chloe and Brandon Gerber; her great granddaughter, Lauren, her sister-in-law Kathy Paige and nieces and nephews, Kathie, John, Sean and Brooke Englert, Patti, Henry, Paige, and Chelsea Steinbuck, Michelle Paige. Visitation will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home on State Route 54 4:00 – 6:00 PM, Saturday, March 24, 2007. A Service will follow at 6:30 PM. Father Edwin Palka will officiate.

Priscilla A. Cullimore
Cullimore, Priscilla, A, 81, Zephyrhills, Fl passed away Saturday, March 17, 2007. She was born June 18, 1925 in Algonac, MI. Priscilla was a singer and sang the jingle for “WXYZ” in Detroit, MI. She was also the “Miracle Child” of 1935 due to an injury. She wrote short stories on her own website both fiction and non-fiction. She was a woman of many talents. Priscilla is survived by her loving family including two daughters, Debbie (Marvin) Woodruff, Romeo, MI and Laurie (Brent) Bauer, Ocala, Fl, two sons, Jay (Jan) Cullimore, Romeo, MI and Kirk (Shellie) Cullimore, Algonac, MI; 15 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She will be missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at 4:30 PM at Shady Oaks Clubhouse.

Guadalupe Andres Gomez Alexander, Jr
Alexander, Guadalupe Andres Gomez., Jr., 49, Dade City, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Hernando Pasco Hospice. He was born December 5, 1957 in Lake Worth, Florida, the son of Guadalupe and Paubla Gomez Alexander. He was preceded in death by his mother, Paubla Alexander, who passed away, Sunday, March 18, 2007. He is survived by his children: Barbara Ann (Armondo) Chavez, Nicholas (Melissa) Alexander, Adam (Maribel) Alexander, Esmeralda Alexander, Pamela Alexander, Guadalupe Alexander, Andrew Alexander and Sabrina Alexander and their mother, Lucia R. Alexander; his grandchildren: Juliana Chavez, Angelica Palacio, Yadhria Garcia, Ramon David Alexander, Sara Elizabeth Alexander and Samantha Marie Alexander and two yet to be born; his father, Guadalupe Alexander, Sr.; his siblings: Raymond Alexander, Josephine Zamago, Susana Ramirez, Ernest Alexander, Diane Alexander, Ricky Alexander, Sr., Peggy David, Michael Alexander and David Alexander; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Highway 301 Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 1 pm, Thursday at St. Rita Catholic Church, Dade City with burial next to his mother in Floral Memory Gardens.
