Garnet Coglan LeHeup, Jr.
LEHEUP, Garnet Coglan, J r.,80, of Tampa, died Saturday May 7, 2005 at James a Haley Veteran's Hospital. Garnet was the son of Garnet C. LeHeup, Sr. and Merl (Barron) LeHeup and served in the US Navy during both WWII and the Korean Conflict. He attended the University of Tampa and earned a law degree at Millsap's College in Jackson, Mississippi. He was a retired real estate developer.
Survivors include three sons, Dr. John Douglas LeHeup and his wife Vickie, William Andrew LeHeup and his wife, Christy and Jay Matthew LeHeup and his wife, Marina; a daughter, Andrea LeHeup; a brother, James Joseph (Joe) LeHeup and his wife, Margie; three sisters, Laurie Eleanor (LeHeup) Stevens and her husband, George J., Marion LeHeup, and Ellen (LeHeup) Portervint and her husband, Lee; eight grandchildren, Jody, Robert, Kate, Meg, Chrissy, Heidi, Hanna and Austin LeHeup; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on 5th Street from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2005. Graveside funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Williams cemetery.

Elodee L. McCormick
MCCORMICK, Elodee L., 72, of Dade City, died Saturday, May 7, 2005 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, She was born to Gusta and Louise Lynch of Lawrence County, Tennessee on February 22, 1933.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Frank; daughters Vanessa Oney (Mike) of Riverview, and Katrina L. McCormack (John) of Boca Raton; two grandchildren, Conor and Shane McCormack both of Boca Raton; three sisters, Eloise Clark of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Virginia Evans and Mary Coulter, both of Spring City, TN; and two brothers, John Lynch of Lawrenceburg and Bill Lynch of Spring City.
She taught school for 35 years and taught Homemaking and Biology at Pasco High School for 29 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Zephyrhills and the Gideon’s Auxiliary.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 9th, 2005 at the Garden Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home on Hwy 301. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 10. 2005 with Pastor Dan Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the East Pasco Gideon’s Memorial Bible Fund.

Grace Spanton-Gilberft
SPANTON/GILBERT, Grace M., 82, of Zephyrhills, Florida died Wednesday May 4, 2005 at Hernando Pasco Hospice House, on Clinton Avenue in Dade City Florida. She was born in Vienna, New York. She came to this area from Oneida, New York 26 years ago. Grace was a Homemaker in her own home. She was Protestant and a member of Zephyr Christian Church in Zephyrhills. She was preceded in death by her first husband Benjamin Gilbert, also two sisters Clara Edy and Pearl Schuler.
She is survived by her second husband Lloyd Spanton of Zephyrhills; Son William R. Gilbert of Oneida, New York; Daughter Mary Lou (John) Gilbert of Old Town, Florida; Step-daughters Linda Dial of Watauga, Tennessee and Barbara Klein of Panama City, Florida. Brother Francis Klein of West Virginia, and Sister Edith Plantz of Panama City, Florida. Grandson David Dial. Grand Daughters Michelle Mort; Julie Dial; and Amanda Hoag. Great Grandson Derek Mort. Great Grand Daughter Amber York.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday May 7th where services will be held at 12 noon, Minister Douglas Campbell, officiating.

Lloyd H. Golden
Golden, Lloyd H. , 81 of Dade City, went to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Gulfside Hospice in Dade City, Florida. He was born on April 2, 1924, in Hastings, MI. After retiring from General Motors in Pontiac, MI, he moved to the Bradenton area in 1980, and then relocated to this area in 1992. He was a Baptist, a wonderful husband and father, and enjoyed traveling, golf, reading, and spending time with family.
He is survived by: his wife, Jane Golden; his brother, Fred Golden, Clemmons, NC; his son & daughter-in-law: Charles & Patricia Golden, Flatrock, MI; his son & daughter-in-law: Robert and Debbie Rutzen, Harwood, MO; his daughter and son-in-law: Robyn and Robert Gray, Lake Worth, FL; his son and daughter-in-law: Geoff and Marie Rutzen, Ridge Manor, FL; 10 grandchildren: David Golden, Courtney Kinney, Betty Jane Coetzee, Tim Gray, Matthew Gray, Justin Hubbs, Rhiannon Rutzen, Geoffrey Rutzen II, Noelle Rutzen, Emily Rutzen and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Rosalie Golden, his first wife, Anna May Golden, and his brother, Larry Golden.
Friends will be received at 9am Monday, May 9, 2005, at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City( 5th Chapel), with the funeral at 10am. He will be interred at Manasota Memorial Gardens in Bradenton, Florida. The eulogy will be provided by his son, Geoff Rutzen. The family will receive friends following the service at Geoff and Marie Rutzen’s home, 34430 Orchid Parkway in Ridge Manor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in his memory be made to The Lighthouse, PO Box 2455, Dade City, FL 33526.
Though we miss him deeply, we look forward to the day when we will be reunited with him in Glory, and we rejoice in his heavenly graduation.

Gladys O. Jones
Jones, Gladys O. 92, of Dade City, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at Sunbelt Health Care Center in Zephyrhills. She was born July 29, 1912 in Carroll County, GA, to Alexander L. Williams and Ethel S. Wood. She moved to this area 6 years ago from Kissimmee, FL, where she lived for many years. She was a Homemaker who enjoyed cooking and caring for her family and friends. She had a great love for her family and her Lord and Savior. She had a special place in her heart for women's missions.
She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law: Ron & Margaret Jones, Dade City, FL; her daughter-in-law: Kay F. Jones, Clewiston, FL; 7 grandchildren: Donna Richey, Dade City, FL, Kathy & Kurt Browning, Dade City, FL, Sharon & Matt Clayton, Raleigh, NC, Rhonda & Danny Saltsman, Ridge Manor, FL, Scott & Laura Jones, Clewiston, FL, Mark & Silvia Jones, Fort Myers, FL, Karen Jones, West Palm Beach, FL; and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Vernon Jones; and 1 son: Franklyn Jones.
Graveside services will be held 4pm Saturday, May 7, 2005 at the Osceola Memory Gardens in Kissimmee. The eulogy will be provided by family and friends. The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday, May 8th, at Kathy & Kurt Browning's home 15735 Jessamine Road in Dade City. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in her memory to either Hernando-Pasco Hospice 7066 Fort King Road, Zephyrhills, FL 33541, or the First Baptist Church building program, 37511 Church Avenue, Dade City, FL 33525.

Bernard Lee Mueller, Jr.
MUELLER, Bernard, Lee, Jr., 73, of Dade City, died Monday, April 2, 2005 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center. Arrangements are pending.

Daniel Charles Leonard
Leonard, Daniel Charles, 64, of Webster, FL, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2005 in Dade City under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice. He was born December 21, 1940 in Adrian, MI, to Morgan Leonard and Hazel Timmerman. He retired from the Great Lakes Steel Company in Michigan and moved to Florida. He worked for a number of years at the University of South Florida before taking his second retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Hazel & Morgan Leonard, and 1 brother: James Leonard. He is survived by his wife: Helen Leonard; 3 sisters: Virginia Smith, Mary Jo Lawson, Donna Schroder; 1 son: Daniel Leonard Jr.; 4 daughters: Shirley Duvall, Michelle Blanchett, Debra Diaz, Linda Leonard; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Tanya Darlene Everett Wolf
Wolf, Tanya Darlene Everett, 34, died Saturday, April 30th, 2005. She was born on March 21, 1971 in Brookings, S.D., and was adopted at three weeks by Darlene and Paul Everett. She grew up as an adventuresome soul on an acreage near Aberdeen, S.D. with her loving brothers, Mike and Jeff. She excelled in sports-including basketball, volleyball, softball, and tennis-and had a soft spot in her heart for animals.
She graduated from Moorhead High School in 1989 and continued her education at Moorhead State University. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1994 in hotel/motel/restaurant management and pursued her career in Minneapolis/ St.Paul and then Rochester, Minnesota. She eventually moved to the Clearwater, Florida area in 1995, where she met Richard Wolf. She and Richard exchanged wedding vows in a beautiful, intimate beach ceremony on Dec. 6, 2002, and made their home in Clearwater. Richard and his “hon” recently had built a house in Dade City! Florida, where they were planning to raise their growing family. She also was thoroughly enjoying a new career path in pharmaceutical sales.
Tanya’s life was tragically taken as a result of an automobile accident on April 30, 2005. But her memory will live on as a young woman passionate about life and family, and always eager to make new friends and build relationships with others. Tanya had a smile that was contagious and her face lit up whenever she was doing things she loved, which included playing with her dogs, Nicki, Jasmine, and Jake. She had a zest for travel and boating, and recently had achieved her ultimate life-time goal of becoming “mommy” to beautiful 7-month-old Kayla.
She is survived by her loving husband, Richard and daughter, Kayla of Dade City, Florida; mother Darlene (Jerry) Stordahl of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; father Paul (Marian) Everett of Pipestone, Minnesota; brothers Mike of Fargo, North Dakota, and Jeff (Chandra) of Wesley Chapel, Florida; nieces and nephew Lisa Gores, Camille Everett, and Jason Everett; birth mother Ann Fox; half-brother, Alexander Fox; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by infant siblings Randy, Rodney, and Cheryl Everett; and grandparents George and Dorothy Watts, and Frank and Sigrid Everett.
The Family received friends at the funeral home on Hwy 301 on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 from 4 until 6:00 p.m. at which time the local funeral will be conducted. Tanya’s final resting place will be in Eden Township, Minnesota.

Carmen Fernandez "Chun" LLuis
LLUIS, Carmen, Fernandez (Chuni), age 85, passed away on May 2, at home after a lengthy illness. Survived by her husband of over 60 years, Victor H. Lluis, Sr., two sons, V.H. Lluis, and Robert Lluis (Sylvia), and one daughter, Kathryn L. Jerman (Gary); six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her mother Maria Traina-Fernandez, her Father
Benjamin Fernandez, who was the general manager of Cuesta-Rey Cigar Factory, and her maternal grandmother, Giuseppina Leto-Traina.
Carmen graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1936, and attended the University of Tampa, and the Florida State College for Women. She was an Accountant and Tax Preparer as well as a devoted wife and mother. She was a finalist in the 1929-1930 National Spelling Bee, and spoke five languages. She enjoyed traveling, and visited her parent's birthplaces in Asturias, Spain and Santo Stefano Quisquina, Sicily.
A mass was celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 3012 W. Cherry Street, this Wednesday, at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Thornwell Home and School in Clinton, S.C, Villa Madonna School in Tampa, or a charity of your choice which caters to needy children.
