Michael D. Hartmann
HARTMANN, Michael D., 64, of Wesley Chapel, formerly of Dade City, died Sunday, December 25, 2005 at home. A native of New York City, he moved to this area in 1985 from Atlanta. He was a retired business owner having established M&J Trucking in Atlanta. Survivors include his wife Judith; a brother, Robert Hartmann; and his loving family, Hans Hartmann, Michael Hartmann, Dominique Hartmann, Teri Hartmann, Khristian Hartmann, Katherine Hartmann, Lori Hartmann, Michelle Hartmann and Jordan Hartmann. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 5th Street Chapel, from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2005. Funeral services are private.

Betty Francis Miller Davidson
DAVIDSON, Betty Francis Miller, 77, of Las Vegas, formerly of Zephyrhills, died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 in Las Vegas. Born on August 30, 1928, she was the daughter of William R. & Mary J (Wikel) Miller. She resided in Zephyrhills for 30 years until the death of her husband, Vernon Walter Davidson, Sr. in 1993. They owned and operated a grocery store in Springfield, VA before moving to Zephyrhills. Survivors include a son, Vincent W. Davidson of Las Vegas; three daughters, Verna Pennington (MH) of Dade City, Victoria W. Harrelson of Los Angeles, CA and Vonda W. Peggs of Zephyrhills; a brother, Harry Miller of Frankfort, WV; three sisters, Violet Pettegrew of Alderson, WV, Isabell Marie Boon of Frederick, MD, and Ida Maxine Link of Delray Beach, FL; eight granddaughters, Stacy (Chuck) Miller of Zephyrhills, Michelle (David) Herndon of Harve, MT, Tara (RC) Lee of Dade City, Christina Harrelson of St. Louis, MO, Becky and Stephanie Harrelson of Los Angeles, CA and Shantell & Chelsea Peggs of Zephyrhills; 14 great Grandchildren; and three close stepsons, Vernon W. Davidson of Los Angeles, CA, Randy Enger of Orlando, FL, and Andrew Davidson of Dade City. She was predeceased by a sister, Verna Eileen Harvey of Roncervert, WV. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Harold Fisher officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.

Herman X. "Woody" Wood
Wood, Herman X. “Woody”. 74 years of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away Friday, December 23, 2005 in Zephyrhills. He was born April 13, 1931 in Sutton, New Hampshire, the son of Walter and Ruth Wood. He was lived in Zephyrhills about a year, moving from Jaffrey, New Hampshire. He served in the US Army during the Korean War, and member of American Legion Post #11, Jaffrey and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Jaffrey. He is survived by his wife Dodie Wood of 14 years; a daughter Kathy Hamlin, Keene, New Hampshire; a son, Michael Herbert of Concord, NH; stepchildren: Lance Benoit, Bradenton, Florida, Richard Benoit, Concord, NH; Alan Benoit, Warner, NH and Tammy Benoit, Franklin, NH; his brother Warren Wood of Zephyrhills; 7 grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brother-in-laws and friend to many. Services will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Bossawen, NH at a later date.

Rose E. Kilger
Kilger, Rose E. (nee Schroeder), of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away Friday, December 23, 2005 at age 79. She is survived by her loving partner, George Harmon, Jr. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Kilger and loving mother of Elaine (Wally) Hurszy, Robert (Nancy), Thomas (Susan), Lisa Beemnan, Maureen Brusehaber, Debra (Clifford) Oryszak, George (Anne) and Richard (Linda) Kilger; loving grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sister of H. Kenneth (Jean) Schroeder, Patricia (Henry) Radecki and the late Margaret Lang, Doris Schroeder and Ruth Taggart; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m., Wed., December 28, 2005 at St Philip the Apostle Church, 950 Losson Rd., Cheektowaga, NY. Donations may be made to Hospice Foundation.

Pauline Christian Cox
Pauline Cox, Christian, went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on December 20, 2005. She was 96, born June 30, 1909 in Spartansburg, PA. Formerly lived in Meadville PA and moved in 1978 to Zephyrhills before moving to Carpenters Estates in 1987. She was an Elementary School teacher in Meadville, PA. She is preceded by her husband Orlo who died in 1984. Pauline and Orlo were active members of the First Baptist Church in Zephyrhills. She enjoyed reading and praying for family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Harmes (Bud), granddaughters Patty Lee (Scott), and Debra Bergholtz (Robert), great-grandchildren Brock & Paige Bergholtz, all of Orange, CA, and daughter Charlotte Bergdahl (Cliff) granddaughter Heather Fielding (Andy), grandsons Graham & Jonathan Begdahl all live in England. Also surviving are Ethel Cox, sister-in-law as well as nieces & nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at Carpenters Estates on December 31, 2005 at 10:45 with Dr. Tino Ballisteros & Chaplain Bradley assisting. Andrew Culverwell will be providing music. All are dear friends. There will be a private burial at Oakside Cemetery in Zephyrhills. In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be sent in her name to Habitat for Humanity, Faith Relations, 17700 S. Figueroa St., Gardena, CA 90248

Mary "Catherine" Nathe
Nathe, Mary "Catherine", 91, passed away on December 26, 2005. Mrs. Nathe was born April 26, 1914 in Columbus, GA, and lived most of her life in the St. Joseph Community. She and her husband were in the citrus business. She in predeceased by her husband: James "Pat" Nathe, daughter: Patricia N. Fenton; and grandson: David Tunick. She is survived by a daughter: Shirley Tunick, Dade City, FL, son-in-law: Richard Fenton, Dade City, FL, sister: Sarah McManus, Laguna Woods, CA; 5 grandchildren: Cathie Robinson, Birmingham, AL, Jim & Lynda Fenton, Floral City, FL, Mark & Tammy Fenton, Donna & Paul Blommel, Rick & Melissa Fenton, all of Dade City, FL, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. A Funeral Mass officiated by Father Henry Riffle at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, December 29, 2005. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at the church at 6:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hernando-Pasco Hospice, 37445 Clinton Avenue, Dade City, FL 33525.

Orice Jackson "O.J" Marler
Marler, Orice Jackson "O.J.", 88, of Dade City, passed away Monday, December 26, 2005 in Dade City. He was born April 19, 1917 in Elba, AL, to Charlie Marler and Odessa Hamn Marler. He moved to the Dade City area in 1961 from Elba, and worked for several years in the Citrus and Agriculture Industry. His love for the Lord and gospel music led to his Gospel Music Radio Program heard on WDCF and WPAS radio. He is survived by his children: Hazel Hill, Dade City, FL, James Marler, Orlando, FL, Frank & Karen Marler, Dade City, FL, Herman & Sally Marler, Jackson, GA, Mary & Kenneth Edgeman, Dade City, FL; 1 brother: Milan Marler, Elba, AL; 2 sisters: Hazel Ennis, Elba, AL, Bertha Mae Crocker, Titusville, FL; 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years: Ada Mae Marler; and 2 children: Thelma Jean McCallster and William Howard Marler. Funeral services will be held 1pm Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Hodges Family Funeral Home on 5th Street. Burial will follow at Dade City Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or those that wish may make donations in his name to Gulfside Regional Hospice, 6117 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, FL 34653.

Arthur K. Vidito
Vidito, Arthur K., 97, of Dade City, FL, and Lamoine, MA, passed from this earth Wednesday, December 21, 2005, in the comfort of his daughter’s home in Vero Beach, FL. Arthur was born January 14, 1908, in Wakefield, MA, the only child of Harry Blythe and Anna Johnson Vidito. Arthur had many loves in his life; his love of God, his wife and family, friends, and baseball. He played baseball for many years as a young man in Maine, then coaching little league teams throughout his life. He spent most of his time in Lamoine, ME, and Southington, CT, having a career as a farmer and then working as a machinist at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft of Connecticut for 20 years. Arthur married Edna Bennett on September 24, 1938 and raised 5 wonderful children. He was a longtime member at Lamoine Baptist Church and in later years, attended the Ellsworth Church of the Nazarene. Arthur is survived by his beloved children: Janet & Warren Craft, Lamoine, ME, Raymond & Phyllis Vidito, Enfield, CT, Ivy & Richard Bohlman, Vero Beach, FL, Donald & Sue Vidito, Norway, ME, Barbara Vidito, Ellsworth, ME; 4 grandchildren: Rhonda, Robin, Tina, Donald Jr., and 7 great grandchildren. Arthur also leaves his dear family and friends of the Lakeside Oaks Park in Dade City, FL. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years: Edna Bennett Vidito, in 2004, and 2 granddaughters: Tammy and Tracy. A funeral service will be held in Lamoine in the spring. Herbert "Roy" Craver
CRAVER, Herbert "Roy", 76, of San Antonio, FL, formerly of Greene, NY, Triangle, NY and Whitney Point, NY, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in Dade City. Born in Colesville, NY on January 30, 1929, he retired as a Quality Control Inspector for IBM in Endicott, NY where he has been employed for 37 years. He served in the US Navy from 1946 until 1947 and was called back during the Korean Conflict serving in the US Army from 1950 until 1952. He was an avid golfer and recorded two holes in one during his golfing career. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Marilyn; a daughter, Debbie Wade and her husband, Charles of Whitney Point, NY; a brother, Irby Craver of Whitney Point and Ocoee, FL; three grandchildren, Christopher, Amber, and Matthew Wade, all of Whitney Point; several step children and step grandchildren; and four nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Russell in 1993 and Alan in 1994 and by his father, Charles in 1996 and his sister-in-law, Betty and his mother, Lucile in 2005. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Dade City on Wednesday, January 4, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Douglas Zimmerman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roy's name may be made to either Hernando-Pasco Hospice, 37445 Clinton Avenue, Dade City, FL 33525 or the Building Fund at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 37623 Magnolia Avenue, Dade City FL 33523.

Lorene Ezelle Robinson
Robinson, Lorene Ezelle, 75, of Zephyrhills died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 in Austell, Georgia. She was born in Cullman, Alabama. She was a life time member of the United Methodist Church, a long time member of the United Methodist Women’s Group, active member of the Lamplighter Sunday School and a member PEO. She loved to play golf. She is survived by a daughter, Diane Emerson, one sister, Dean Rowell, one brother Jackie Ray Stapler, one daughter-in-law, Suzanne Robinson, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded by her husband, Don Robinson, Sr. and one son Don Robinson, Jr. A viewing will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Zephyrhills on 5th Street from 12:-1:00. A service will follow at 1:00 PM. Rev. Craig Ford will officiate. Burial will be at Oakside Cemetery.

Clyde Stanford Fisher, Jr.
Fisher Jr., Clyde Stanford, 85, of Land O Lakes passed away on December 14, 2005 and went to be with his Heavenly Father. He was born in Williamsport, PA, February 14, 1920 the son of Clyde S. Sr. and Pauline M. (Shafer) Fisher. In 1942 he married Ardith M. Anderson who preceded him in death on April 29, 1997. He is also preceded in death by his son, Douglas W. Fisher. He was a graduate of Williamsport High School. He served his country in the US Army during World War II. A carpenter by trade in his early years, “Stan” retired from the S & H Green Stamp Store in 1987. For the next 10 years he was a dedicated and loving caregiver to his mother, father and wife. He was an avid reader of novels, and enjoyed sporting events of all kind. “Stan” also very much enjoyed fly-fishing with his father on his beloved Pine Creek. While here on earth he lived a simple life and has now entered into the glorious life beyond. “Stan” is survived by his children, Ken and Ruth Fisher, of Lewistown, PA, Sandra L. Northern, of Quakertown, PA and Carolyn S. and Ronald Miller, of Williamsport, PA., 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a sister, Betty Fisher Huling of Montgomery, PA and a brother, Robert P. Fisher of Chambersburg, PA. He is also survived by his Loving companion and caregiver, Edith M. Messner of Land O Lakes. Services were private.

Sylvia Fern Pyle
PYLE, Sylvia Fern, of Zephyrhills, departed this life Tuesday morning, December 20, 2005. Sylvia is survived by her four children; Larry Mittlestat of Mississippi; Sharon Rushlow of Zephyrhills; Earl Mittlestat of Michigan; and Marvin Mittlestat of Tennessee; brother: William Alton Callaway of Ohio; and sister Gloria Bugg of Michigan; Thirteen Grandchildren and Twenty Four Great Grandchildren, Many Nieces, Nephews and Friends. She was also a member of Zephyrhills Church of Christ and will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held 10am Friday, December 23, 2005 at Hodges Family Funeral Home Hwy 301 Chapel. Visitation will be held Thursday 5 -7 at the funeral home. Sylvia will be put to rest next to her beloved husband Ray Pyle at Forest Hills Cemetery in Haines City, Florida.
