Anna Brink
Anna Victoria Brink, 86, St. Augustine, died April 5, 1999, at the Samantha Wilson Care Center. She was born July 7, 1912, in Worcester, Mass., and she had lived in St. Augustine since 1975. She was the beloved wife of Nils F. ``Fred'' Brink, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her two children, Roger W. Brink and Janet Brink, Palm Harbor, and Patricia A. Jewell, St. Augustine; six grandchildren, Victoria Louise Davenport and Gary Davenport, Wayne Brink, Michelle Jewell, Glen Brink and Sara Brink-Jameson (David); two great-grandchildren, Lindsey Taylor and Scotty Beaver; and several nieces and nephews.
Anna rejoins her mother and father and the family of her childhood. She was the youngest of seven children and the only remaining member of the family.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Memorial Park, with the Rev. George Bass officiating.

Alva Anderson
Alva Marie Anderson, 81, St. Augustine, died Nov. 6, 1999, at Flagler Hospital. She was born in Boonton, N.J., and she had resided here for the past 13 years. She was employed as a secretary for a short time. She was of the Methodist faith.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Craig Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. S. Dwight McQueen, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Flowers are gratefully declined, and those wishing may make a contribution, in her memory, to the Arthritis Foundation, 318 Palmetto St., Jacksonville, 32202.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Clifford Anderson, St. Augustine; one daughter, Connie Scanlon, Budd Lake, N.J.; two sons, Ronald Anderson, Rockaway, N.J., William Anderson, Columbia, N.J.; one brother, Wendell Manning, Summerville, S.C.; and six grandchildren.

Dorothy Barber
Dorothy Jean Wimberly Barber, 67, Bainbridge, Ga., died Nov. 7, 1999, at her home. She was born in Decatur County, Ga., and she had resided in the Blackjack Community of Decatur County for the past 27 years. She was a former St. Augustine resident, and she was of the Baptist faith. She was a paper carrier for the Albany Herald for more than 20 years, and she had been active, in the past years, in the Blackjack Volunteer Fire Department.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. today at Cox Funeral Home chapel, Bainbridge, Ga., with Dr. Joe Beauchamp officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Memory Gardens, Bainbridge, Ga.
She was the wife of the late Cecil Edward Barber Sr.
Survivors include one daughter, Sheila Gibbs, two sons, David and Ronald Barber, all of Bainbridge; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Patricia Braddock
Patricia A. Braddock, 55, Aviles Street, died Nov. 6, 1999, at Memorial Hospital, Ormond Beach. She was a former resident of Daytona Beach. She was born in Savannah, Ga., and she was reared in this area, attending Mainland High School. She earned a master's degree in English literature at the University of Florida, and also earned a master's degree at the University of North Florida. She was employed as a teacher of English at St. Augustine High School from 1984 - March 1999, when she had a heart attack.
She was a member of Trinity Chapel, St. Augustine, serving on the worship team and singing in the choir. She was also a member of Maria Jefferson Chapter, DAR.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel of the Baggett and Summers Funeral Home, 736 S. Beach St., Daytona Beach, with the Rev. Donavan Tinsley, senior pastor of Trinity Chapel, St. Augustine, officiating. Burial will follow.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Thursday until the hour of service.
Survivors include her mother, Christine Braddock, Ormond Beach; one brother, Robert Braddock, Winter Haven; a sister, Merry Day, Ormond Beach; four nephews and two nieces.

Margaret Conway
A memorial Mass for Margaret M. Conway, 78, St., Augustine, who died Nov. 2, 1999, at Flagler Hospital, will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, with the Rev. Seamus O'Flynn, pastor, officiating.
Flowers are gratefully declined, and those wishing may make a contribution, in her memory, to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 3603 Cardinal Point Drive, Jacksonville, 32257.

Patricia Ford
Patricia Elizabeth Childers Ford, 44, Havana, Fla., died Nov. 6, 1999, in Havana. She was born in Coral Gables, and she had resided in the Tallahassee/Havana area for 14 years. She was a charter member of Gadsden United, an organization devoted to protecting the quality of life in Gadsden County, and she was a member of the Northwoods Baptist Church, where she was involved in the music ministry.
Funeral services were to be held at 11 a.m. today at Northwoods Baptist Church, Tallahassee. Burial followed in Hillcrest Cemetery, Quincy.
Those wishing may make a contribution, in her memory, to the Music Ministry of Northwoods Baptist Church, 3762 N.W. Capital Circle, Tallahassee, 32303.
Mrs. Ford was the daughter-in-law of St. Augustine residents Wayne and Janet Ford.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Ken Ford; one brother, William Childers, Illinois; and two sisters, Kathleen McGee, Wisconsin, Carol Krantz, Delaware.
Sasser-Morgan-McClellan Funeral Home, Quincy, was in charge.

Mary Johnson
Mary Grace Johnson, 86, St. Augustine, died Nov. 7, 1999, at her home. She was born in Bloomington, Ind., and she had resided here since 1944. She was member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 37. She was also a member of Le Femme.
Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at McDowell Baptist Church, with the Rev. Warren Frederick, pastor, officiating.
Flowers are gratefully accepted, or those wishing may make a contribution, in her memory, to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 1955 U.S. 1 South, Suite B3, St. Augustine, 32086.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Johnson, and by one daughter, Mary Carol McCullum.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Badger, St. Augustine, Patricia Scanlan, Marietta, Ga.; one sister, Dorothea Hankins, Fort Lauderdale; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Grady Jones Sr.
Brother Grady (Bubba) Jones Sr., 75, St. Augustine, died Nov. 6, 1999, at Flagler Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday at New Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, with the Rev. E.D. Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel of Coleman's Mortuary from 6 to 9 p.m, today, and at the church from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of services.
Survivors include six daughters, Annie Maude Leake, East Orange, N.J., Arlene Hopins, Newark, N.J., Audrene Wesley, Hastings, Patricia Holmes, Fort Lauderdale, Shenandoah Sessions, Palatka, Angela Jones, Fort Lauderdale; six sons, Earnest Jones, Jacksonville, Michael Jones, Houston, Texas, Roger Jones, Arden Jones, St. Augustine, David Holmes, Fort Lauderdale, Kenneth Jones, St. Augustine; three foster sons, three foster daughters, 40 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and other relatives.

James Warner
James Warner, 77, Akins Street, St. Augustine, died Nov. 6, 1999, at his home, following a brief illness.
Arrangements will be announced by Coleman's Mortuary of Hastings.

Stacey Barber
Stacey Anne Barber, 51, St. Augustine, died Nov. 7, 1999, at her home. She was born in Amarillo, Texas, and she had resided here for the past six years. She was retired from a career of human service, and she had many other interests before she became ill. She was of the Episcopal faith.
A celebration of her life will be held from 6-8 p.m. today at 19 May St.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Craig Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Ruth Jensen officiating.
Flowers are gratefully declined, and those wishing may make a contribution, in her memory, to the Stacey Barber Memorial Fund, c/o the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind, 207 N. San Marco Ave., St. Augustine, 32084.
She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Ralls.
Survivors include her life partner, Diane Ross, St. Augustine; one son, Jeffrey Barber, St. Augustine; her mother, Connie Ralls, Texas; one sister, Catherine Russell, Texas; and one grandson, Aiden Alexander Barber, St. Augustine.

Allan Braun
Allan Braun, 63, died Nov. 1, 1999, at Flagler Hospital. Al was a resident of St. Augustine for 15 years.
Beloved brother of Carol Buchetta, Re Dubin, and uncle of Stacey Schoettler, Heather Benet Dubin, Ronald and Mitchell Braines. Devoted friend of Kathleen, Laura, Debra and Robert Forte; and his beloved cat, Kiki.
A veteran of Korea and Vietnam, he was very involved in keeping the memory alive. He was a character and will be truly missed.
Goodbye, dear friend. We'll see you later.

Clarrissa F. Leeker
Memorial services for Clarrissa F. Leeker, 92, of St. Augustine, who died Nov. 12, 1999, at Samantha Wilson Bayview Center, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Deena Galantowicz officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined, and those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 5355, St. Augustine, 32085. Burial will be at a later date in Oakland Cemetery, Atlanta.

Charles Nix Sr.
Charles B. Nix Sr., 58, Palatka, died Nov. 16, 1999, at Putnam Community Medical Center. He was born in St. Augustine, and he had resided here most of his life before moving to Palatka in 1993. He worked for VAW Aluminum, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Conrad, pastor, officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Hardin Nix, Palatka; one daughter, Brenda Vargas, Zephyrhills; a stepdaughter, Dawn Wright, Shelby, N.C.; two sons, Charles B. Nix Jr., Eric Nix, both of St. Augustine; one stepson, Mitchell Graham, Palatka; three sisters, Lillian Hardee, Bessie Johnson, both of St. Augustine, Shirley Register, Lake City; five brothers, Roy, Otis, Howard, Gary, Richard Nix, all of St. Augustine; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Craig Funeral Home is in charge.

Alice Wilson
Alice B. Wilson, 84, died Nov. 15, 1999. A native of Camden, N.J., she had lived in St. Augustine since 1978. She was a retired restaurant manager, and she was a member of Anastasia Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald, and her son, Donald Jr., in 1998.
Survivors include one daughter, Gail Burr, a son, Douglas Wilson, a brother, William Boyd, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Anastasia Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ron Moore, pastor, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations, in her memory, to the Anastasia Baptist Church building fund, 1650 A1A South, St. Augustine, 32084.

Mary Buckley
Funeral services for Mary Alice Buckley, 75, St. Augustine, who died May 19, 1999, at her home, will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, with the Rev. William Mooney, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in San Lorenzo Cemetery. Prayers will be said at 5 p.m. today at Craig Funeral Home chapel, and friends may call at Craig chapel until 8 p.m. today.

Sarah Gibson
Sarah Hilliard Gibson, 90, St. Augustine, died May 22, 1999, at the Samantha Wilson Care Center. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Craig Funeral Home.

Joseph Logan
Funeral services for Joseph (Joe) Logan, 72, St. Augustine, who died May 17, 1999, at the Ponce de Leon Care Center, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Tabernacle Baptist Church, with the Rev. Major Highman, pastor, and the Rev. Ronald Stafford, eulogist. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call at Chase and Son Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. today, and at the church from 1 p.m. Monday until the hour of services.

John Newell
Graveside services for John Milton Newell, 55, St. Augustine, who died May 18, 1999, at his home, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Deena Galantowicz, associate pastor of Trinity Episcopal Parish, officiating. Friends may call at Craig Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 8 p.m., today.

Valjean Augustus
Valjean Lane Augustus, 72, 76 M.L. King Ave., died Oct. 30, 1999, at her home. She was a lifelong resident of St. Augustine, and she was a retired home economics teacher, having taught at Richard J. Murray High School. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and of Phi Delta Kappa Sorority. She was a member of St. Paul AME Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul AME Church, with the Rev. James T. Blount, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Friends may call at Chase and Son Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, and at the church from 9 a.m., Saturday, until the hour of services.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Mary Neal; and other relatives.
