Leah E. Schultz, 85, Palatka, a former St. Augustine resident, died Nov. 12, 1997, at North Florida Regional Hospital, Gainesville. She was born in Detroit, Mich., and she was a retired nurses aide.
Services and burial will be in Detroit, Mich.
She is survived by a sister, Irene Wells, Cordelene, Idaho.
Croyle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Antonitta Sottile
Funeral services for Antonitta Sottile, 88, St. Augustine, who died Nov. 12, 1997, at Flagler Hospital East, will be held at 9 a.m. today at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, with the Rev. Seamus O'Flynn, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in San Lorenzo Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 8:30 a.m. today until the hour of services.
Craig Funeral Home is in charge.

Jacquelyn Whitty
Jacquelyn F. Whitty, 31, St. Augustine, died Nov. 13, 1997, at University Medical Center, Jacksonville.
Arrangements will be announced by Chase and Son Funeral Home.

Karen Boyd
Karen Louise Boyd, 42, precious mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend went home to be with Jesus Nov. 13, 1997, at Flagler Hospital West Campus. Born in Fort Riley, Kansas, she had resided in St. Augustine most of her life. She was a graduate of St. Augustine High School and an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, the church choir and orchestra, and the mission field for Christ.
Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon, 3-6 p.m., at Craig Funeral Home chapel. Funeral services will Monday at 10 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. J.O. McLeod officiating. Burial will follow services in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Flowers are gratefully accepted, or those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to the Calvary Baptist Church Music Program.
Karen leaves behind a loving family, daughter, Carla Boyd; son, Chad and his wife, Lisa; one granddaughter, Naomi Boyd; parents, Leroy and Freda Wall; four brothers and their wives, Gary and Paula, Larry and Carol, Kerry and Beth Wall, all of St. Augustine, and Barry and Allison Wall of Springfield, Mo.; grandmothers, Lucille Wall of St. Augustine and Thelma Smithee of Hoxie, Ark.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Karen is absent from her body but present with her precious Lord.

Terri Biros
Terri Marie Biros, 43, Ponte Vedra Beach, died Nov. 14, 1997, at Halifax Medical Center. She was born in Jacksonville and had lived in North Florida all of her life. She was a travel agent, having worked with Rainbow Travel for many years.
Cryptside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the St. Augustine Memorial Park Mausoleum with Dr. Armando Silverio officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined, and those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to a favorite charity.
She is survived by her husband, George Biros, Ponte Vedra Beach; her mother and father, Gerald and Jeannine Silcox, St. Augustine; a sister, Mrs. John (Kelli) Thompson, Winter Springs, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Craig Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Vera Pickering
Memorial services for Vera Lee Redding Pickering, 44, St. Augustine, who died Nov. 12, 1997, in Jacksonville will be Monday at 5 p.m. at Craig Funeral Home chapel. A gathering in her memory will continue until 7 p.m. at Craig chapel.

Kate Triay
Kate Triay, 74, Branford, died Nov. 14, 1997, at Flagler Hospital East following a brief illness. A native of Cairo, Ga., she had lived in Stuart for 35 years before moving to Branford 19 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Branford.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Lake City with the Rev. Robert K. Davis and the Rev. Eddie Blalock officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Lake City. Friends may call at Biggs Funeral Home, 3801 S. First St., Lake City, Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Raymond J. Triay, Branford; daughters, Louise Sorace, Jacksonville, Ginny Hendricks, Branford; a brother, John Henry Ausburn, Okeechobee; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Tina Watkins
Tine Louise Watkins, 24, Lancaster, Pa., died Nov. 13, 1997, at Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster.
She was born in St. Augustine and was a graduate of Bible Baptist School here. She had lived in Lancaster County for the past four years where she was a waitress. She was a member of the Science of Mind Thinking.
She is survived by her parents, Charles E. and Willie Lee Napier Watkins, St. Augustine; half-brothers, Daniel Martin, Tampa, Clay Martin, Realitos, Texas; and a half-sister, Martilla Martin, Carrollton, Ga.
Groff Funeral Services, 234 W. Orange St., Lancaster, Pa., is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. S. Dwight McQueen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Friends may call at Craig Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Survivors include a son, Richard Cady, St. Augustine; one daughter, Jo Lynn Cook, Dayton, Iowa; a nephew, Peter Cady, St. Augustine; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Virginia Cady
Funeral services for Virginia Cady, 81, St. Augustine, who died Nov. 15, 1997, at Flagler Hospital East, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. S. Dwight McQueen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Friends may call at Craig Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Mrs. Cady was born in Kewanee, Ill.

Mabel Godshall
Mabel Victoria Godshall, 90, St. Augustine, died Nov. 16, 1997, at Mariner Health Care. She was born in Union, S.C. She was a lifelong Episcopalian.
Funeral services and burial will be in Union, with Holcomb Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include one daughter, Ann Jones, St. Augustine; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Jacqueline Whitty
Jacqueline "Jackie" F. Whitty, 31, 6 Lovett St., died Nov. 13, 1997, at the University Medical Center, Jacksonville. She was a lifelong resident of St. Augustine; and she was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She attended St. Augustine High School.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Antioch Baptist Church, with the Rev. Willie R. Jackson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel of Chase and Son Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and at the church from 10 a.m. Thursday until the hour of services.
Survivors include her parents, Willis Whitty, Louise Whitty, St. Augustine; a daughter, Alexis Mitchell, son, Darrell Whitty, St. Augustine; sisters, Delores (Mrs. Harry) Pope, Paulette (Mrs. Leonard) Preston, Evelyn Whitty, Civility Sparrow, St. Augustine, Bertha `(Mrs. Eric) Findley, Mandarin; brothers, Willis Whitty Jr., Deacon Albert Whitty, Deacon Terry Whitty, Derrick Whitty, St. Augustine; and other relatives.

Ed Edwards
Ed Edwards, 42, Phoenix, Ariz., died Nov. 10 at his home. Funeral services were held Friday in Phoenix.
Survivors include his wife, Fredda Thomas Edwards, two sons, Matthew and Jonathan, a daughter, Joy, his parents, Ed and Marilyn Edwards, all of Phoenix; and a brother, Steve.
Mrs. Edwards is the daughter of Fred Thomas and Jennell Thomas, both of St. Augustine.

Arthur Freeman
Arthur Lee Freeman, 53, 3 Nesmith St., died Nov. 14, 1997, in St. Augustine, the result of injuries from an accident. He was born in Pelham, Ga., and he had resided here since early childhood. He was a graduate of Richard J. Murray High School, Class of 1964, and he attended Edward Waters College. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served with the U.S. Marine Corps, and he was a Disabled Vietnam Veteran. He was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church, with the Rev. Randy Hezekiah, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Chase and Son Funeral Home Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, and at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the hour of services.
Survivors include daughters, Elizabeth (Mrs. Alfred) Harty, Jacksonville, Arthia F. (Mrs. Paul) Byrd, St. Augustine; a son, James Freeman; sisters, Juanita Thomas, Geneva, N.Y., Vivian Freeman, Jacksonville; brothers, Lewis Freeman, Geneva, Lucius Freeman Jr., Jacksonville, John Burch Sr., St. Augustine; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Dewey McDonald
Dewey Augustus McDonald, 34, St. Augustine, died Nov. 17, 1997, at Flagler Hospital East. He was born in Birmingham, Ala., and he had resided here since 1970. He was of the Methodist faith, and he was a 1982 graduate of St. Augustine High School.
Funeral services and burial will be held, under the direction of Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Birmingham.
Flowers are gratefully declined, and those wishing may make a contribution, in his memory, to the American Diabetes Association, 4492 Southside Blvd., No. 101, Jacksonville, 32216.
Survivors include his parents, Kathryn and John McDonald, St. Augustine; one sister, Kathy Luck, Apple Valley, Minn.,; and a brother, Pat McDonald, Birmingham.

Frederick Sagginario
Frederick Sagginario, Ph.D., 45, St. Augustine, died Nov. 17, 1997, in Flagler Hospital East. He was born in Queens, N.Y., and he was a principal for a private elementary school in New York.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, with the Rev. William Mooney, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in San Lorenzo Cemetery. Friends may call at Craig Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Prayers will be said at 5 p.m. today.
Survivors include a daughter, Tara Sagginario, Roanoke, Va.; his father and stepmother, Robert and Josephine Sagginario, St. Augustine; his grandmother, Fannie Sagginario; and two brothers, Robert Sagginario Sr., Farmingdale, L.I., N.Y., James Sagginario, St. Augustine.

Memorial services for Tina Louise Watkins, 24, Lancaster, Pa., who died Nov. 13, 1997, at Lancaster General Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Center for Positive Living, with the Rev. Jewell Kutzer officiating.

Jacqueline Whitty

Dorothy F. Lyons, St. Augustine, died peacefully Nov. 18, 1997, in St. Augustine.

She is survived by her husband, Jeremiah Lyons; three daughters, Karen Jean Downey, Manalapan, N.J., Patricia Marie Lyons Barnes, Westminster, Md., Jeanne Allyson Ryan, St. Augustine; two sons, Dennis James Lyons, Martinez, Calif., Kevin Bruce Lyons, St. Augustine; one sister, Grace Simnett, Port Orange; and six grandchildren.

William Rowand Jr.
William "Al" A. Rowand Jr., 74, Deltona, died Nov. 14, 1997, at his home. He was born in Greenville, Miss., and he was a retired railroad engineer for CSX, having worked for 33 years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy, and he was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Deltona, and also held membership in the VFW in DeBary and the Knights of Columbus of Deltona.
He was the husband of the late Frances Rowand.
Survivors include a son, Tim Rowand, Deltona; brothers, John L. Rowand, St. Augustine, James C. Rowand, Jacksonville; sisters, Margaret Johnson, St. Augustine, Mary Cunningham, Carolyn Fiddueia, both of Rockford, Ill.; and one grandchild.
Arrangements are under the direction of Baldauff Funeral Home, Deltona.
