Vincent Boscia
Vincent B. Boscia, 80, St. Augustine, died Jan. 22, 1998. He was born in Providence, R.I., and he moved to Florida in 1980. He was a former restaurant/nightclub owner, and he was a member of the Catholic Church. He was also a member of Elks and numerous golf clubs, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy P. Boscia, a stepson, Bill Harris, both of St. Augustine; and a stepdaughter, Carol McConnell, S. China, Maine.
All Faiths Cremation Society, Lady Lake, is in charge.

Lucy Browning
Funeral services for Lucy Timmons Browning, St. Augustine, who died Jan. 21, 1998, at the Ponce de Leon Care Center, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Craig Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in San Lorenzo Cemetery.
Flowers are gratefully accepted, or those wishing may make a contribution, in her memory, to a favorite charity.

Tommy Gilliam
Graveside services for Tommy Gilliam, 59, who died Jan. 16, 1998 at 6230 Armstrong Road, Elkton, following a brief illness, will be held at 10 a.m. today at Armstrong Cemetery, Elkton.

Charlie Hawkins Jr.
Funeral services for Charlie Hawkins Jr., 63, 125 DeHaven St., who died Jan. 19, 1998, in Flagler Hospital East, will be held at 1 p.m. today at St. Paul AME Church, with the Rev. F.D. Richardson Jr., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Friends may call at the church from noon today.
Chase and Son Funeral Home is in charge.

David Raulerson
David M. Raulerson, 57, St. Augustine, died Jan. 23, 1998, at Flagler Hospital West. A native of St. Augustine, he was the owner of Dave's Construction Co.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Trinity Chapel Ministries with the Rev. Donavan Tinsley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
He is survived by a daughter, Tammy Raulerson, Opp, Ala., a son, James Raulerson, Jacksonville; a sister, Peggy Dubowsky; two brothers, Robert and Edward Raulerson, all of St. Augustine; and four grandchildren

Ella Wilson
Graveside services for Ella Christina Wilson, 99, 12 Louise St., who died Jan. 21, 1998, at the St. Johns Health Care Center, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Kerry Hinkley, pastor of Memorial Lutheran Church, officiating.
Croyle Funeral Home is in charge.

Francis Comrie
Francis Comrie, 86, St. Augustine, died Jan. 24, 1998, at St. Johns Health Care Center. He was born in Bronx, N.Y., and moved here in 1971 from Queens, N.Y. He was a member of the U.S. Navy during World War II, and he worked with the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #7121, Past Commander of American Legion Post A. Gordon Webster in Queens, American Legion Post #37 in St. Augustine, the Riverview Club, St. Augustine Shores Civic Association and the American Association of Retired Persons.
A memorial Mass will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with the Rev. William C. Mooney officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those wishing may make a contribution in his memory to the Corpus Christi Church Building Fund.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth J. Comrie, St. Augustine.

Florence Kling
Florence McQuaig Kling, 76, St. Augustine, died Jan. 24, 1998. A native and lifelong resident of St. Augustine, she was the wife of the late William Kling.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine Memorial Park. Friends may call at Craig Funeral Home Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Flowers are gratefully accepted, or those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to Hospice Northeast, 1400 Old Dixie Highway, Suite A, St. Augustine, Fla. 32086 or to Our House Alzheimer's Adult Day Care Program, 38 Arenta St., St. Augustine, Fla. 32084.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia DeGrande and Deborah Noda, two sons, William and Robert Kling, a sister, Marie McKinney, all of St. Augustine; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Kirsten Smith
Kirsten Leanne Smith, newborn daughter of C.J. and Chante Smith of St. Mary's, Ga., and St. Augustine, died Jan. 22, 1998, at University Medical Center in Jacksonville.
Private funeral services are planned.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Clarence and Bernadette Smith, St. Augustine, and her maternal grandparents, Glenn and Lynn Arnett, St. Augustine.

Thelma Stratton
Graveside services for Thelma Dorothy Stratton, 85, St. Augustine, who died Jan. 21, 1998, in Flagler Hospital East, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Sampson Cemetery.

Cecil Walker
Cecil M. Walker Jr., 71, died Jan. 23, 1998, at his home in Jackson County, N.C. He was born in St. Augustine and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil M. Walker Sr. He had lived in North Carolina since August 1997.
For nearly 40 years, he was employed by Marineland of Florida and was the marine attraction's vice president and assistant general manager from the late 1960s through the mid-1980s. He began his employment with Marineland in 1946 as a night watchman and held a number of management positions prior to his promotion to vice president. Following his retirement from Marineland, he joined the State of Florida's Division of Marine Resources in St. Petersburg and was responsible for the enforcement of the Marine Mammal Protection Act and Manatee Protection Program.
He was an elder in the St. Augustine Church of Christ and the Northside Church of Christ in St. Petersburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ruth, a son, Charles, and his brother, Robert.
He is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Redman, Sylva, N.C., a son, Philip Walker, St. Augustine; two sisters, Nadine Alexander, Belmont, N.C., Delores Kroneman, Tacoma, Wash.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Sylva, N.C., Church of Christ with Dr. Robert Rigdon officiating. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery in St. Augustine. Those wishing may make contributions in his memory to the Mount Dora Children's Home, 13th and McDonald Street, Mount Dora, Fla. 32757.
Melton-Riddle Funeral Home, Sylva, N.C., is in charge of arrangements.

Winnifred Cassell
Winnifred J. Cassell, 71, Satsuma, died Jan. 23, 1998, in Satsuma, following a lengthy illness. She was born in St. Augustine, and she moved to Satsuma 13 years ago from St. Augustine. She was a former trouble shooter in the garment industry, and she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Green Cove Springs.
No services are planned. Burial will be in Moultrie Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Billy N. Cassell, Satsuma; a cousin, Patricia McNeil, St. Augustine; two nephews and one niece.
Watts Funeral Home and Crematory, San Mateo, is in charge.

Francis Comrie
A memorial mass for Francis Comrie, 86, St. Augustine, who died Jan. 24, 1998, at St. Johns Health Care Center, will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with the Rev. William Joseph Wetteroth, 84, St. Augustine, died Jan. 24, 1998, at the Ponce de Leon Care Center. Arrangements will be announced by Craig Funeral Home.

Donald Wilson
Donald P. Wilson, 85, St. Augustine, died Jan. 23, 1998, at Flagler Hospital. He was born in North East, Md., and he was a retired automotive machinist. He was a member of Anastasia Baptist Church, and a former member of the Ponce de Leon Country Club and the St. Augustine Shores Country Club.
No services are planned. Those wishing may make a contribution, in his memory, to Anastasia Baptist Church Building Fund. 1650 A1A South, St. Augustine, 32084.
Survivors include his wife, Alice, St. Augustine; one daughter, Gail Burr, St. Augustine; two sons, Donald, New Jersey, Douglas, Crescent Beach; three sisters, Virginia Goode, St. Augustine, Mary Ann Cavender, Helen Buninski, Wilmington, Del.; two brothers, Edward, St. Augustine, Weller, North East; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Gene Saylor
Gene A. Saylor, 56, Hastings, died Jan. 26, 1998, at his home, following a brief illness. He was born in Molus, Ky., and he had resided in Hastings for the past 27 years, moving there from Paris, Tenn. He attended the former Hastings Holiness Church, now the Praise Tabernacle Assembly of God Church, Hastings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Allie Saylor.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Palatka Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Howard Kennerly officiating. Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Survivors include two sisters, Wilma Sue Saylor, East Palatka, Claudia Saylor, Interlachen; seven brothers, Claude, Tampa, Leroy, Joe, Pete, George, all of Hastings, Earl, Lakeland, John, Interlachen; and several nieces and nephews.

Frances Van Allen
Frances Marcella "Marty" Van Allen, 76, Treasure Beach, died Jan. 25, 1998, in Gahanna, Ohio. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, and she had resided here since 1977. She was a factory worker for VAW, and she was of the Catholic faith.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Craig Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Jeremiah Lambe, associate pastor of the Cathedral-Basilica of St. Augustine, officiating. Friends may call at Craig chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Survivors include one daughter, Carla Van Allen, Treasure Beach; a brother, William Van Allen, Columbus; two nieces and two nephews.

Cecil Walker
Graveside services for Cecil M. Walker Jr., 71, who died Jan. 23, 1998, at his home in Jackson County, N.C., will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery. Funeral services were held Sunday in the Sylva, N.C., Church of Christ with Dr. Robert Rigdon officiating.
Those wishing may make contributions in his memory to the Mount Dora Children's Home, 13th and McDonald Street, Mount Dora, 32757.
Mr. Walker, a longtime former St. Augustine resident, served, at one time, as vice president and assistant general manager for Marineland of Florida.
