The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church with interment in Roselawn Gardens Cemetery.

CAMILLA - Agnes Morey Atkinson, 78, of Warwick died Wednesday, October 30, 2002, at her son's residence in Ashburn.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Springhill Baptist Church in Mitchell County with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Aaron White, the Rev. Hank Avera and the Rev. Miles Avera will officiate.
Born September 24, 1924, in Mitchell County, Mrs. Atkinson was a homemaker and caregiver. She was a member of Acorn Pond Baptist Church. Mrs. Atkinson was married to the late Tom Watson Atkinson and was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Ruthie Lee Alligood Morey.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Lee King of Inverness, FL; seven sons, Tom W. Atkinson Jr. of Warwick, R. Wayne Atkinson of Port Richie, FL, Tony Atkinson of Inverness, FL, Dewey Atkinson of Homosassa, FL, Ray Atkinson of Ashburn, Terry Atkinson of Sylvester, Glenn Atkinson of Albany; two sisters, Mildred Jones of Leary and Bobbie Spence of Lester; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to United Hospice of Cordele, 208 East 4th Avenue, Cordele, GA 31015.

UNADILLA - Funeral services for George W. Childs of Cordele, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Forest Chapel Baptist Church in Pinehurst with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. W.G. Grover will officiate.
Mr. Childs, 89, died Friday, October 25, 2002, in a local hospital. He was a native of Macon County, son of the late Eli and Della Childs.
Survivors include his wife, Etta Mae Childs of Cordele; a sister, Mary Little of Orlando, FL; uncle, A.B. (Oradell) Brown of Montezuma; a host of nieces and nephews including Lyndon Bobby Childs and Rose Childs of Unadilla, and Sara Childs-Henderson (Maurice) of Cordele.

COLQUITT - James Mims "Jimmy" Fudge Jr., 80, of Colquitt died Wednesday, October 30, 2002, at Miller Nursing Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Colquitt Funeral Home Chapel with interment in City Cemetery. The Rev. Don Bazel will officiate.
Active pallbearers will be Robert Wilkin, C.E. Crow, Burnell Grant, Eugene Kelley, Carl Long Jr. and Charles Pickle.
A native of Miller County, Mr. Fudge was the retired owner of Fudge Gin and Peanut Company in Colquitt. He was a member of Colquitt First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Fudge of Colquitt; one son, James Fudge and daughter-in-law, Mary of Colquitt; one daughter, Donna Anderson and son-in-law, Kent of Anderson, S.C.; one sister, Marilyn Fudge of Colquitt; five grandchildren, William Anderson, Jennifer F. Player, Curt Fudge, John Fudge and David Fudge; three great-grandchildren, Manning Anderson, Conner Anderson and Emily Player.

Born June 4, 1912 in Fulton County, Mrs. Hynote was retired from the Marine Corp. Logistics Base. She was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Hynote was married to the late John Henry Hynote and was the daughter of the late William Anderson and Annie Parker Wilder.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Johnsie and Jerry Handfield of Doerun; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Ellie Hynote of Napa, Calif.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

James Russell Patten Jr.
VALDOSTA - James Russell "Jim" Patten Jr., 53, died at his home in New York, New York, on October 25, 2002, after a short illness. Born July 29, 1949, in Valdosta, he was a 1967 graduate of Valdosta High School. He served in the U.S. Navy and then graduated from Menlo College in Menlo, California. Mr. Patten was associated with Dean Witter and moved to New York 11 years ago continuing his career with Dean Witter and Morgan Stanley until his retirement in 2001. He was a member of the Blue Hill Actors Group and St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Survivors are his mother, Virginia Patten of Albany; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dee and Dan Carter of Jacksonville, Fla., Ann and Ron Fraser of Albany; niece, Deanne Carter of Albany; nephews, David Fraser of Albany, Russell Carter of Jacksonville, Fla., Joseph Fraser of Albany. He was preceded in death by his father, James Russell Patten Sr. and brother, Joseph Edgar Patten.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Gauntt will officiate. Committal will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday prior to the service from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
