HAWKINSVILLE - Christine G. Fields, 80, of Pitts died Monday, November 18, 2002, in the Taylor Regional Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Pine City Holiness Baptist Church with the Rev. Louie Tripp and the Rev. Jack Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in the Pitts City Cemetery in Pitts.
Mrs. Fields was a native of Wilcox County and a member of Pine City Holiness Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter, Donald R. Fields (Sharon) of Pleasant Grove, Ala., Reuben T. Fields of Glencoe, Ala., and William G. Fields of Pitts, Gladys F. (Bob) Battles of Trussville, Ala.; five grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren; sister, Gladys Studstill of Abbeville; and brother, Delmar Gordon of Rochelle.
The family may be contacted at the Fields residence in Pitts.

RICHLAND - Marie Elizabeth Rees, 84, of Denver, N.C., formerly of Fitzgerald, GA, died Friday, November 15, 2002, at Wexford House.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Preston Baptist Church.
A native of Preston, Miss Rees was a retired bookkeeper.
Survivors include one brother, John Paul Rees of Sautee; two sisters, Evelyn Rees Downer of Denver, N.C., and Judith Hill of Independence, MO; and a number of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Research Association, P.O. Box 185, Columbus, GA 31902.

CAMILLA - Una Lee Yount, 78, of Camilla died Sunday, November 17, 2002, at Mitchell Convalescent Center in Camilla.
Funeral services will be held later in the week in Mt. Holly, N.C.
Born February 1, 1924, in Habersham, GA, Mrs. Yount was a homemaker. She was married to the late John C. Yount and was the daughter of the late Robert P. and Cora W. Roberts.
Survivors include a daughter, Sheila Edwards of Grapevine, Texas; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Jeanette Fenn
ALBANY - Jeanette Fenn, 50, of 225 Bay Street, Fairburn, died Friday, November 15, 2002, at her residence.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday at Third Kiokee Baptist Church with interment in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Levi Breedlove will officiate.
A native of Barbour County, AL, Mrs. Fenn was born April 25, 1952. She was a dental assistant and was also employed with Rich's Department Store and Macy's Department Store as a sales associate. Mrs. Fenn was a 1970 graduate of Albany High School. She also continued her education in Kansas City, MO, where she earned a degree in dental hygiene. She also received a degree in political science. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in College Park.
Survivors include a daughter, Nutasha Fenn of Atlanta; granddaughter, Nutaja K. Beasley of Atlanta; her mother, Alva Walker-Fenn of Albany; two sisters, Mary L. Harvey and Betty S. Fenn, both of Albany; three brothers, Huey L. Fenn, Billy R. Fenn and Cedric Fenn, all of Atlanta.
Mrs. Fenn's remains will lie-in-state Saturday morning from 11 a.m. until noon.
The family of Mrs. Fenn will receive friends and relatives at the home of her mother, Alva Walker-Fenn, 1707 Gillespie Ave., here in Albany, GA.

Nemiah Gammage
ALBANY - Deacon Nemiah Gammage, 74, of 724 Barkley Blvd., Albany, died Thursday, November 14, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Second Mt. Olive Baptist Church Sports Complex . Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Lorenzo Heard, pastor, will officiate.
A native of Worth County, Mr. Gammage was born April 9, 1928. He was a retired pipe fitter with Coats and Clark Thread Mill. He attended Madison High School in Albany and was a member and chairman of the Deacon Board at Greater Second Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was also a Vision Leader and a member of the Golden Key Club.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Strong-Gammage of Albany; his mother, Josephine Adams-Gammage of Albany; four daughters, Carolyn Elaine Garner of Albany, Barbara Jean Gammage-Strickland of Lawrenceville, Tanya Renee Huell of Warrensburg, MO, and Jerry Dean Brantley of Jacksonville, FL; four brothers, Charlie Edward Gammage, Moses Gammage, and Baldwin Homer Gammage, all of Atlanta, and the Rev. Richard Gammage of Macon; four sisters, Mary Moore of Sacramento, CA, Hazel Chamblis of Atlanta, Lois Lamar and Vera Vickerson, both of Albany; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
The remains of Deacon Gammage will lie-in-state at the church on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour.

ALBANY - Rosa Lee Hopkins-Hall, 72, of 440 Wadkins Avenue died Thursday, November 14, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church in Albany with interment in Floral Memory Garden Cemetery. The Rev. J.H. Reynolds will officiate.
A native of Randolph County, Mrs. Hopkins-Hall was retired from civil service at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany. She attended Randolph County public schools, was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and was a former member of the Senior Choir. She was also a member of the Golden Key Club.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Hall of Albany; two daughters, Virginia Dianne Hall-Jenkins and Evelyn Robinson, both of Albany; one son, Victor Roy Hall of Aliso Viejo, Calif.; three sisters, Louberta Brown of Bloomfield, Conn., Essie Threadcraft and Annette Smith, both of Albany; two brothers, Eugene Hopkins of Albany and Tommy Hopkins of Greenville, Fla.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The remains of Mrs. Hopkins-Hall will lie-in-state at the church from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour Saturday.

June 3, 1912 - November 19, 2002
This genteel Christian lady went about her daily life helping people at every opportunity, never failing to do whatever was within her ability to aid the needy, brighten the day of a stranger with a kind word, and happily sacrificing portions of her own typically modest income buying gifts for others.
God elevated a very special angel when He took Florence Seymour home last Tuesday.
A brief memorial service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, 2 p.m. Sunday, November 24. In keeping with her great love for children, Florence requested no flowers be sent to her funeral, asking friends instead make donations to a children's charity of their choice.
Loved by all who met her.
Respected by all who knew her.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church in Worth County with burial in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. M.N. Wright will officiate.
A native of Calhoun County, Mr. Singleton was a member of Bright Morning Star Baptist Church, where he served on the Deacon Board.
Survivors include five daughters, Regina Daniels (Willie) Hampton, Allison Daniels, Raven Singleton and Brenda Summers, all of Albany, GA, and Lakeshia Singleton of Anchorage, Alaska; one sister, Ruby Nell Stroble of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, James Singleton of East Palatka, Fla., Solomon Singleton and Bobby Singleton, both of Albany, GA; three sisters-in-law, Mary Singleton of East Palatka, Fla., Vivian Singleton and Ruth Singleton, both of Albany, GA; an uncle, the Rev. A.B. Singleton of Albany, GA; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A native of Worth County, Mr. Warren was born February 12, 1925. He was a retired construction worker and attended Worth County public schools. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mylee Warren of Sasser; four sons, Johnny Warren, Thomas Warren, Larry Warren, all of Albany, and Emmitt Warren of Polk City, FL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

John Harrison Watson
ALBANY - The funeral service of John Harrison Watson, 79, of Albany, who died Wednesday, November 20, 2002, will be conducted today at 11 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Tom Pollock and the Rev. Michael C. Catt will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A native of Worth County, GA, Mr. Watson had resided in Albany since 1947. He was retired from Lilliston Corporation after 28 years. He was a partner in Johnson Frame Crafters for 10 years. He was an Air Force veteran serving during World War II and was a prisoner of war for 16 months. He was an excellent vegetable and flower gardener, expert cook and excellent fisherman. He was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bertie Sanderson Watson of Albany, GA; a son, Charles Watson and his wife, Dena of Tifton, GA; a daughter, Peggy Watson Walton and her husband, Bobby of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Lemmie Watson and his wife, Bonnie of Albany, GA; two sisters, Mildred Harrell of Rhine, GA, and Doris Stripling of Doerun, GA; three grandchildren, Derek Walton, Haley Hartley and husband, Bobby and Lindsey Walton; one great-grandchild, Caden Hartley and several nieces and nephews.

David attended the public schools of Terrell County, GA, and was employed as a laborer.
