Richard Franklin Bragg
ALBANY - Father Richard Franklin Bragg, 46, of West Palm Beach, FL, died Saturday, December 21, 2002, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Walden Chapel at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Russ Elkins will officiate.
A native of Albany, Father Bragg graduated high school from Tallulah Falls High School in 1974, and went on to graduate from Nashotah House Seminary in Wisconsin. He served in the Episcopal Church in Elkhart, IN, Woodbine, GA, and Jesup, GA. He then served at St. Alban's Anglican Catholic Church. At the time of his death, he was the rector of St. Augustine of Canterbury Anglican Catholic Church in West Palm Beach, FL.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Tombs Bragg of West Palm Beach, FL; two daughters, Anna Thayer Bragg of Albany, and Lisa Clare Bragg of Jesup, GA; two stepsons, Scott Hill and Dan Hill Jr., both of Albany; mother, Anne D. Bragg of Albany; sister, Harriet Bragg Tate of Albany; nieces, Sarah and Elizabeth Tate of Albany. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Bragg.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
Those desiring may send memorials to a favorite charity.

MADISON - June Elizabeth Dooley Thornton, 96, of Madison, GA, died Thursday, December 19, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA.
The graveside funeral was held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Madison Memorial Park. The Rev. Tom Kerr officiated.
A native of Oconee County, GA, Mrs. Thornton was a school teacher for 42 years. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia.
Survivors include her daughter, June Elizabeth Russell of Albany, GA; son, Edmund Thornton and his wife, Joyce of San Francisco, Calif.; one grandchild, Elizabeth Spears Canady and her husband Michael Brett Canady of Smyrna, GA; one great-grandchild, Isabella Marie Canady of Smyrna, GA; one brother, Dr. Lamar Dooley of Athens, GA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Eugene Thornton and parents, William Edmund Dooley and Olivia Autry Dooley.

Robert Emmett Siebels Hall Sr.
DAWSON - Robert Emmett Siebels Hall Sr., 71, of Dawson died Sunday, December 22, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Harvey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Charles Leverett officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Hall was born in Montgomery, AL. He was the son of the late Wallace Howard Hall Sr. and the late Martha Glenrose Grace Hall. He was a graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Hall moved to Dawson in 1961 where he owned and operated a division of Hall Bagging Company, a family business pioneered by his grandfather and father which he maintained until his death on December 22, 2002. He was a member of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church of Dawson while also serving his community in many capacities.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy J. Hall of Dawson; two sons, Robert E.S. Hall Jr. and James S. Hall, both of Dawson; a daughter, Barbara (Babs) J. Hall of Americus; a brother and sister-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Wallace H. Hall Jr. of Nashville, Tenn.; a grandson, Jamison Hall of Silverdale, Wash.; and a granddaughter, Arianna Hall of Leesburg.

MOULTRIE - Ethel James Pitts, 94, of 401 S. Peachtree St., Doerun, died Sunday, December 22, 2002, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Cool Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Sale City with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Roy Carroll will officiate.
Casketbearers will be: Roy Tomlinson, Bob Dixon, Cory Graham, John Beverly, and Warren Walker.
A native of Richmond County, Mrs. Pitts was born July 28, 1908. She was the daughter of the late Ferris James and Leanna James. She was a member of Cool Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was the widow of William Mack Pitts and was preceded in death by two sons, James Clifford Pitts and William Earl Pitts.
Survivors include four daughters, Louise Hall, Paul and Pauline Kunde, Paul and Evelyn Perry, and Betty Elliott, all of Doerun; two daughters-in-law, Joan Pitts of Albany and Marguerite Pitts of Doerun; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Cool Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

A native of Calhoun County, Mr. Pollock was born April 11, 1928. His parents were the late Edward Pollock and Liza Albertie Tiner Pollock. He was a retired citrus worker for Coca-Cola. He had lived in Early County since 1933.
Survivors include five sisters, Lilla Clark and Judy Cannon, both of Blakely, Inez O'Neal of Mullberry, FL, Frances Stebbins of McCoy, Texas, and Sandra Huckeba of Bainbridge.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
