The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Cobb Funeral Chapel with interment in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

DAWSON - Eugene White "Gene", 50, of 1256 Sasser/ Herod Road, Sasser, GA, died Friday, December 20, 2002, in Columbia, MO.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2002, at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Sasser, GA. The Rev. Angelo Tumblin Sr., pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery in Dawson, GA.
He attended the public schools of Lee County, GA.
Eugene was a long haul truck driver for Burke Lines Trucking Company.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving children, three daughters, Takia White and Lawanda White, both of Ft. Pierce, FL, and Diane Williams of Dawson, GA; eight grandchildren; his parents, Jimmy and Annie Pearl Tell of Sasser, GA; two brothers, Bobby White of Sasser, GA, and Bennie Lofton of Albany, GA. A devoted friend, Josephine Young of Albany, GA, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Doris Cooper McClelland
ALBANY - Doris Cooper McClelland, 59, of 2003 N. Flintlock Drive in Albany, died Monday, December 23, 2002 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be Friday, 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church. The Revs. Craig Howell and Sammy Whaley officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A native of Commerce, TX, Mrs. McClelland has lived in Albany since 1976, where she was a member of First Assembly of God Church and was the Sunday school superintendent.
Survivors include her husband, Tim McClelland of Albany; a son, David Glen McClelland of Charleston, SC; a daughter, Dana Lynn Laubrich of Albany; grandchildren, Timothy McClelland of Albany, Tarver Lee McClelland and Savannah McClelland, both of Lake Worth, FL, and Caleb Laubrich of Albany; father, Raymond Cooper of Sulphur Springs, TX; sisters, Joyce Keller and Carolyn Marcal, both of Sulphur Springs, TX, Pamela March of Frost Proof, FL, Raymajean Camacho of Greenville, TX; and a brother, Raymond Dean Cooper of Commerce, TX.
Mrs. McClelland was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Perry Cooper, and her sister, Evelyn Spencer.
The family will receive friends today (Thursday), from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Kimbrell-Stern.

Robert Sutherland
ALBANY - Robert "Bob" Sutherland, 60, of Albany, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be held Friday, December 27, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Putney United Methodist church with the Rev. Don Woeltjen officiating.
Mr. Sutherland was a native of Petoskey, Michigan, and had lived in Albany for the past 44 years. He was retired from the Marine Corps Logistics Base.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Sutherland, of Albany; mother, Esther Sutherland of Holly Hill, FL; sons, Bobby and James Sutherland, both of Albany; son and daughter-in-law, David and Tammie Clark of Albany; daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Bill Carson of Albany and Sandra and Mike Usrey of Albany; sister and brother-in-law, Ronnie and Johnnie Casey of South Port, FL; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. today (Thursday) at Hall & Hall Funeral Home.

Owen Wallace Parnacott Sr.
DAWSON - Owen Wallace "Barney" Parnacott Sr. of Dawson died at his residence on Wednesday, December 25, 2002. The funeral service will be held on Friday, at 11 a.m. at the graveside in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Parnacott was a native of Stark County, Ohio, born January 16, 1922, son of the late William T. Parnacott and Mayme Owens Parnacott. He has been a resident of Dawson for the past 60 years, he was an U.S. Marine veteran of World War II.
He was a radio broadcaster with WDWD for many years and retired as the Terrell County Magistrate Judge after 14 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dawson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda P. Berthelot.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Stewart Parnacott of Dawson; two sons, Barney Parnacott Jr. of Dawson and Billy Parnacott of Americus; two daughters, Patsy Raybon of Augusta and Faye Murray of Plains; a sister, Wilda P. Brown of Clearwater, FL; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 413 Pecan St., SE, Dawson, GA 39842; Albany Community Hospice, 2332 Lake Park Drive, Albany, GA 31707 or to the First Baptist Church of Dawson, 309 Church St., NE, Dawson, GA 39842.

Mark McKinley Ballew
ALBANY - Mark McKinley Ballew, 81, of Albany passed away Christmas Day, December 25, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hall & Hall Chapel with interment at Floral Memory Gardens.
Mr. Ballew was a native of Ellistown, TN, and had lived in Albany since 1939. He served in the United States Navy. He was employed by Merts Equipment Co. for a number of years and after retirement he worked with his son's law firm, M. Stan Ballew, P.C. as an investigator.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary E. Ballew of Albany; two sons, M. Stan Ballew of Tifton and Keith Ballew of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Shirlann Ballew Rich of Albany; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Philip C. Culverhouse Sr.
ALBANY - Philip C. Culverhouse Sr. of Acworth, Georgia, formerly of Albany, died, December 25, 2002, at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 2 PM, at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Russell Anglin will officiate.
A native of Knoxville, Georgia, he was a longtime resident of Albany, and was retired Civil Service from the Marine Corps Logistics Base. Mr. Culverhouse was a member of Mercedes Baptist Church of Albany and was a veteran of WW II.
Survivors include three sisters, Sue Hogg of Ballground, Georgia, Betty Ennis of Royston, Georgia, and Faye Haddaway of Gray, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Harper Culverhouse and son, Philip C. Culverhouse Jr.

ALBANY - The funeral service of Leanor Nancy Hunter Eddy, 79, of 832 Shelton Dr., Albany, who died Wednesday, December 25, 2002, will be conducted today at 10:30 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Ashley Randall will officiate. Interment will follow at Andersonville National Cemetery.
A native of Cove, Arkansas, Mrs. Eddy lived in Albany for the past 34 years. Mrs. Eddy was a librarian with civil service retiring in 1985, after 20 years. She was a member of Eastern Star Crepe Myrtle Chapter for 27 years, where she was Past Worthy Matron. She was a volunteer with the Genealogy Society and she attended First Methodist Church of Leesburg.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Lee Eddy of Albany; three sons, Robert Jay Eddy and his wife Judy Cates Eddy of Smithville, Charles Jerry Eddy and his wife Judy Gail Trawick of Greenbay, Wisc., and James Ronald Eddy of Putney; daughter, Linda Slappey Carter of Sylvester; sister, Lillian Opal Bangor of Vallejo, CA; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A native of Albany, Mr. Jenkins was a student at Albany High School. He was a member of Church of the Kingdom of God in Albany.
Survivors include his mother, Tamra Jenkins of Albany; father, Adrian E. Jenkins Jr. of Albany and stepmother, Colette Roberts-Jenkins of Albany; brother, Christopher Blake Jenkins of Albany; sister, Katie Krishuna Jenkins of Albany; stepsister, Camyljah Giddens of Albany; grandparents, Sadie and Bobby Roberson, Willie and Mary O'Neal of Soberton, GA, and Adrian and Mary Jenkins of Albany; three uncles, Keith (Vivian) O'Neal of Albany, Kirk O'Neal of Soperton and Wesley O'Neal of E.
