Beverly Sciascia lived here in Woodstock for the past four years, but, in her heart, she will always be a lifelong Chicago native. Beverly passed away peacefully at her home early Friday morning, June 29, 2007, after a hard-fought battle against cancer. She was 64.
Beverly and her husband, Sam, owned an Italian restaurant in Chicago for more than 20 years before selling it. Beverly then worked for Bank One as a teller before she and her husband moved to Georgia. Beverly joined SunTrust bank in 2003 and worked as a “floater,” traveling to many of the branches in Atlanta’s West district before being permanently assigned to Towne Lake. Many of our clients remember her friendly nature and warm and happy smile. She loved animals and even handed out treats to dogs accompanied by their owners through the drive-through.
She will be greatly missed by all of her co-workers at SunTrust. She was
always ready to help a fellow teller or a client. Moreover, we will miss her motherly nature and her loving and caring attitude toward everyone at the bank.
She considered us as part of her family.
Beverly is survived by her husband; five adult children and their spouses; and 15 grandchildren. Our condolences and prayers are with her family.
