Alfred L. Brady Jr.
Alfred Lewis Brady Jr., 58, of Jefferson, died Friday, February 8, 2002, along with his wife, Sherry Brady.
Mr. Brady was a son of 'Jonny' Brady, Bethlehem, and the late Alfred Lewis Brady Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 14, at Wages Lawrenceville Chapel of Tom M. Wages Funeral Service Inc., Lawrenceville. Burial will be in Duncanis Creek Cemetery.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Brady is survived by a daughter, Sandra Brady, Tennessee; brothers and sisters, Charles Samuel Brady, Kenneth Lamar Brady, Danny Ray Brady, Donna Fay Simonton, Deborah Sue Brumbalow and James Timothy Brady; step-children, Chris Page, Dwayne Page, Danny Page, Wanda Faulkner, James Marr and Jeff Arnold; and four grandchildren.
Tom M. Wages Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Sherry E. Brady
Mrs. Sherry Elaine Brady, 45, of Jefferson, passed away Friday, February 8, 2002, along with her husband, Alfred L. Brady Jr.
Mrs. Brady was a daughter of Estelle Hulsey Guillon, Basin, Wyo., and the late Paul Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 14, at Wages Lawrenceville Chapel of Tom M. Wages Funeral Service Inc., Lawrenceville. Burial will be in Duncanis Creek Cemetery.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Brady is survived by sons, James Marr, Auburn, and Jeffrey David Arnold, Athens; sister, Shelia Robinson, Springfield, Mo.; and brothers, David Phillips, Woodlawn, Tenn., and Mark Phillips, Springfield, Mo.
Tom M. Wages Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Nina F. Pritchett
Mrs. Nina Fay Howard Pritchett, 76, of Hoschton, died Tuesday, February 12, 2002.
Mrs. Pritchett was born in Stephens County, a daughter of Nellie Howard, Toccoa, and the late Carl Howard.
She was a former resident of Lilburn and had resided in Barrow County for the past 30 years. Mrs. Pritchett was a housewife and was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 14, at Zebulon Baptist Church, Toccoa, with the Revs. Paul Owens and Mack Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in state at the church at noon.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Pritchett is survived by her husband of 61 years, Henry Chaffin Pritchett, Hoschton; one daughter, Laura N. Parker, Orlando, Fla.; two sons, David F. Pritchett, Lawrenceville, and Mike Pritchett, Hoschton; two sisters, Lula White, Toccoa, and Donna Dodd, Charlotte, N.C.; three brothers, Jimmy Howard and Lindy Howard, both of Toccoa, and Don Howard, Buford; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family was to have received friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.

Annie M. Pritchett
Mrs. Annie Myrtle Pritchett, 93, of Jefferson, died Monday, February 11, 2002, at Athens Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
Born in Jackson County on March 28, 1908, Mrs. Pritchett was a daughter of the late Benjamen David and Emma Anderson Perry.
She was a seamstress and was retired from the textile industry. She was a member of White Plains Baptist Church, Jefferson.
Mrs. Pritchett was preceded in death by her husband, Mathanel Lewis 'Bud' Pritchett, children, Coy Pritchett and Zora M. Hayes, and a sister, Nellie Lee.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson. Burial was in the White Plains Baptist Church cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Inez Everett, Athens, and Ruth Hall, Jefferson; one son, Talmadge Eugene Pritchett, Oxford, Ala.; one sister, Maude Hayes, Winder; 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Evans Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Nelle K. Bonds
Mrs. Nelle Kimsey Bonds, 81, of Lula, died Sunday, February 10, 2002, at Habersham County Medical Center following a short illness.
Mrs. Bonds was born in Habersham County on March 27, 1920. She was a daughter of the late Leonard and Jessie Watson Kimsey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doc L. Bonds.
Mrs. Bonds retired from Carwood Manufacturing Company, after 34 years of service, and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Banks County. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with the Revs. Ralph O. Smith and Bethel Midgett officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, David and Anita Bonds, Maysville, and Denver and Kathy Bond and Deveret and Jackie Bond, all of Gillsville; and five grandchildren, Misty Bond, Becky Bond, Michael Bond, Kimberly Bond and Lori Bond, all of Gillsville.
Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, was in charge of arrangements.

Gerald J. Williams Sr.
Gerald Junior Williams Sr., 60, of Lavonia, died Thursday, February 7, 2002.
A native of Jackson County, Mr. Williams was a son of Flora Davis Williams and the late J.C. Williams.
He had been employed with T & S Mills in Lavonia.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 10, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, with Dr. Larry Finger and the Rev. Robert Garrett officiating. Burial was in the Bible Baptist Church cemetery. Buddy Westbrook, Walter Napier, Mike Vanover, Mike Wilson, Steven Pearson, Scott Clark, Josh Watkins and Warren Watkins served as pallbearers.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Irene Williams, Lavonia; three daughters, Emily and Mintzie, both of Athens, and Candy Harris, Hartwell; three sons, Matthew Williams, Hull, Robert Williams, Lavonia, and Gerald 'Junebug' Williams Jr., Jefferson; three sisters, Martha McCarty and Frieda Williams, both of Danielsville, and Elise Bowens, Hull; three brothers, Tommy Williams and Jamie Williams, both of Danielsville, and Denny Williams, Jefferson; and 16 grandchildren.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.

Hannelore V. Good
Mrs. Hannelore 'Helen' Volk Good, 72, of Lula, died Wednesday, February 6, 2002, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Good was born August 12, 1929, in Germany. She was a daughter of the late Herman and Martha Inglefried Volk.
Mrs. Good was a homemaker and was of the Luthern faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kenneth Good Sr.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 9, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, with the Rev. Jerry Payne officiating. Burial was in Jackson Memorial Gardens, Commerce.
Survivors include one daughter, Lori Braselton, Hoschton; two sons, Donald Herman Good, Dawsonville, and John Kenneth Good Jr., St. Augustine, Fla.; and one grandchild.
Evans Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Roger Dooley
Roger Dooley, 58, of Statham, died Monday, February 11, 2002.
Mr. Dooley had lived in Statham all of his life and was a son of the late W.P. 'Dock' and Sara Holliday Dooley.
He was employed as a sales associate in the Sporting Goods Department of Wal-Mart.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home, Winder, with the Rev. Dennis Kesler officiating.
Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Babb and Alisha Gratehouse, both of Jefferson; one brother, Ronald Dooley, Statham; and five grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Covenant Faith World Outreach Church, P.O. Box 854, Jefferson, GA 30549.
Carter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Catherine Riddle
Mrs. Catherine Riddle, 86, of Jefferson, died Tuesday, February 12, 2002.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson.

Oveline W. Morris
Mrs. Oveline Wilbanks Morris, 84, of Jefferson, died Monday, February 11, 2002, at Lakeshore Heights Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Morris was born November 21, 1917, in Habersham County. She was a daughter of the late William Albert and Roxie Mae Trotter Wilbanks.
Mrs. Morris was retired from Jefferson Mills and Harmony Grove and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, with the Revs. Joel Shadburn and Dennis Kesler officiating. Burial was in Woodbine Cemetery, Jefferson.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Ann Phillips, Jefferson; and one brother, Troy Wilbanks, Cornelia.
Evans Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ruby Van Leuven
Mrs. Ruby Jean Gray Van Leuven, 45, of Carnesville, died Friday, February 8, 2002, at Cobb Memorial Hospital, Royston.
Born September 26, 1956, in Jackson County, Mrs. Van Leuven was the daughter of Joyce Whitsel Gray, Carnesville, and the late George Gray.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Canon Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Monday, February 11, at the B.D. Ginn Memorial Chapel of Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville. Burial was in the Middle River Baptist Church cemetery.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, David Van Leuven; three sons, John Christopher Slusher, Goldsboro, N.C., Matthew Keith Fields, Bowersville, and Brandon James Van Leuven, Carnesville; and two brothers, Randy Dale Gray, Carnesville, and Ricky Dave Gray, Lavonia.
Ginn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
