EVANGELINE KAWAI LEE, 94, of Kaneohe, died Dec. 21, 1999. Born in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Retired Lunalilo Home nurse’s aide. Member of Hale O Na Ali‘i Aha Hui Po‘o and Aha Hui Kaahumanu. Survived by sons, John “Sonny,” and Reginald “Reggie” Medeiros; daughter, Elizabeth “Liz” Wong; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
