MAE KUULEI APO MALAKAUA, 79, of Kalaupapa, Molokai, died Oct. 22, 1999. Born in Honolulu. A Kalaupapa resident for more than 50 years. Survived by daughter, Donna Passos Awana; sister, Elizabeth Lei; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Private service at Kalaupapa. Arrangements by Borthwick Mortuary.

EDGAR MEYER SR., 70, of Kailua, died Oct. 21, 1999. Retired as a city refuse truck driver. ELIZABETH ROUNTREE KELLERMAN, 93, of Honolulu, died Oct. 17, 1999. Born in High Point, N.C. She served as Republican National Committee woman from Hawaii from 1963-1971, was a delegate to the Hawaii Constitutional Convention in 1950 and an attorney for the Reconstruction Finance Corporation in Washington D.C. in the 1930s. She also was president of the American Association of University Women. Survived by sons, Jim and Keoki Kellerman; stepdaughter, Peggy Paty; eight grandchildren. Service 4:30 p.m. Friday at Waialae Baptist Church. Aloha attire. Donations to George and Elizabeth Kellerman Fund, Waialae Baptist Church. Arrangements by Borthwick Mortuary.
