EDWIN “EDDIE-BOY” MAULULANI BECKLEY, 66 of Vancouver, Wash. died April 5, 2000. Born at Mauna Ala (The Royal Mausoleum) in Nuuanu. A Waikiki beachboy and catamaran operator before relocating his family to Seattle. Survived by wife, Beverly; daughter, Michele Lipps; son, Edwin Lupton; three grandchildren; sisters, Frances Ohelo and Harrietta Naki; brother, James “Kahea” Beckley. Service over the ashes 11 a.m. Sunday, April 30, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. on Sans Souci Beach next to the Waikiki Natatorium. Scattering of the ashes to follow. Casual attire.
